Irissia nodded. Not paying much attention as a group of boys walked in, carrying musical instruments so no doubt a band. The guitarist seemed oblivious to her following as she studied him curiously. Dirty blonde hair and Apollo's eyes. Demi-god, no doubt. Not only that though, he was son of Apollo. Shaking her head slightly at the boy that stood a couple feet behind Leon she meet him eyes nodding slightly. Not having payed much attention. "The Fates...well they don't force our decisions," she muttered. Watching the lion quietly. Her mind on the demigod as she wondered if Leon would pursue him or he truly did give up eating demigods.

Leon noticed the demigod, of course. He was accustomed to hunting them, so he never missed an approach. He glanced over, catching the eye of the guitarist. Apollo. If the kid knew of the monsters, then it was time to scram. Seriously, he didn't feel like getting in a fight today- for his life. He wouldn't want to kill the guy.
"We're under their control, though. They know what's going to happen. They do make the most ironic things come our way."

Seeing that the monster didn't seem to care for the demigods she relaxed slightly. Naturally Irissia would've jumped to the boy's defense, not only because he was a demigod and she was against monsters. But more on the personal side, seeing that he was son of Apollo probably her favorite god. Artemis being a close second, but she wouldn't let Aphrodite know that. Though she probably already did...
"Maybe. But you can't blame the Fates for putting ideas in your head. Most things occur because we make them. The Fates only decide when we die and are born really..." she told him with a shrug. She saw it with a clear view. She had decided to practice shooting so she shot the arrow, Leon had decided to come strolling by. Thus he is now sitting on the opposite side of the table as Irissia muttered her order at the waiter. It wasn't the Fates deciding years ago that she'd be here. Nor would she blame the Fates because she wasn't forced to be there, she just choose to.

"I guess so..." Leon lowered his gaze onto the table, prodding his order to the waiter on the menu. He glanced back at the demigod, then slid his eyes to Irrisia. "You know, right? That he's a demigod?" he asked slowly. "If he notices I'm a monster, I'm going to scram, but I doubt it since he's acting like a normal kid, right? If I don't get him, someone else will." He didn't feel like playing bodyguard for any demigod other than Tori. If the kid knew, he had a feeling that he was going to get attacked by him.

His words were true. Making her eyes flash dangerously as a image of Apollo's beautiful eyes losing life's light filled her mind. Her gaze turned away from Leon to the demigod. Her muscles tensing. She wanted to warn him. She wanted to warn the child of Apollo of danger. "another life at the hands of your kind'' she hissed at him.
The demigod feeling her gaze turned his head to see her. The child of Apollo blinking his muscles tensing but he then turned away and walked away to a man in a business suit. The boy taking his instrument with him. Irissia looking away and back to Leon, sending a silent prayer that the son of Apollo would he spared. But she wouldn't follow every demigod around protecting them.

Leon had noticed the presence of another monster as well, and he had noticed him as well. Quickly, he lowered his gaze away from the big man that was supposed to be a Lystragonian. He could tell through the suit. He wasn't going to do anything. The waiter came with their food, but Leon had kind of lost his appetite.
"You seem to be blaming me for it." He snarled back in reply to Irissia bitterly. "Would you want me to interfere?"

Irissia taking a deep breathe suddently felt the scent hit her. A cold rush spreading through her as she closed her eyes and pulled out an arrow. She never misses. But now she just needed not to be noticed. She shouldn't shot. She shouldn't interfere with the way life is...but she couldn't relax knowing a child of Apollo would die. Her muscles tensed as the arrow lay hidden under the table cloth as she fiddled with the small outline of her bow. She could use any weapon with accuracy. But a arrow was the easiest. Should she risk it.
Blinking she stared at him trying not to show any emotion. "You did the same not to long ago. You have only just meet the girl, you would've killed him before having meet her," she told him quite coldly. Her blue eyes flashing with a unrecognizeable emotion as she fought just pulling out an arrow. Putting the arrow away once again she got up. Taking a knife and in a fluent unnoticed motion slipping it into her sleeve. "I'll be back," she whispered...
Walking towards the door which the two men had disappeared to she heard a soft melody suddenly stop. Pulling out the knife as she opened the door fearlessly. The monster holding the demigod by the neck and facing the door. "Attack me and he will die,"
Irissia looked calmly at him. The son of Apollo thrashing. "I wouldn't be to sure. Iris never misses..." she said coldly. Her aim perfect as she threw the knife in full speed at the giants neck. The knife should've missed, or hit the demigod. But it was like a wind or magic made it swerve around the demigod and curve into the neck of the monster. A wondrous sight. The demigod being dropped instantly as he grasped his neck and tried to catch his breathe. His gold eyes looking up at Irissia. Her light blue eyes flashing. Maybe she could've looked like a angel. She was blessed by Aphrodite, her attack was unearthy, her light blue eyes were the shade of a sunny sky. This demigod was oblivious to being a demigod. Or so it seemed. As he fought to catch his breathe he stammered "T-thank you...what are you?...what's your name?" he asked hoarsely.
Irissia blinked. "Irissia...princess of Troy, thank your father you live..." she told him softly. And she walked away. it was strange. Irissia never answered. But it was always the children of Apollo who came close to death that upset her the most. Her thought suddently returning to Leon. Opening the door and turning the corner she searched for where Leon should be. Unsure and not very observant, so she wouldn't have noticed him if he had followed...

Leon actually wasn't surprised when Irissia stood. She seemed like the kind that would take action. He had already given the demigods the liberty of not being eaten by him. He wasn't going to go as far as saving one from another monster. He had a reputation, and he didn't want to ruin it. He was the clever kind, sly like a fox. He was quick and had a vast imagination for ideas. It was how he won his fights, especially if he were at a disadvantage in terms of strength, which happened a lot.
He locked his gaze on Irissia as she disappeared and sighed. Leon shook his head and found himself standing up as well. "Might as well go catch some entertainment for the night." he muttered to himself and trailed behind the girl.
The son of the Nemean lion was tucked away in a shadowy corner, watching her handle the situation, ready to step in if anything went wrong- which he doubted would happen. He caught their last few words of the conversation, and smiled to himself.
As Irissia opened the door and turned the corner he had been leaning against, he stood off the wall. "He's lucky. To be graced by your intervention." His smoky gray eyes were staring into her blue ones with a level of sincerety and apology for remaining indifferent. Then he broke eye contact and his gaze slid to the door of the room. "Won't he have a lot of question now, though? You've brought attention to yourself."

Irissia shrugged "All he saw was a impossible throw make it. And me leave. I doubt he even knows..." she told him softly. Her blue eyes not looking directly at him. Her thoughts having wandered away to the past. Oh the reason she was so quick to react and kill this time unlike the others was because this boy looked a lot like his father. To the point Irissia felt uncomfortable. But she wouldn't go back for him. She knew he wasn't Apollo. And she knew Apollo was a god. And age was a mutt...

"If you say so..." Leon's gaze was still locked on the closed door, his voice doubtful. "I think he's going to be shocked for a while that his life was threatened. You just postponed his death, you know. If he doesn't know he's a demigod, he's vulnerable to monsters. Those are the victims a smart monster would choose."

Irissia bit back a snarl. Her eyes flashing dangerously. Her muscles tensed as she contemplated throwing a knife at his head. His words making her feel uncomfortable and frustrated. But she didn't reply, holding her tongue instead of lashing out.

Her reaction was expected, but he spoke the truth and she should have known it. Maybe that's why she didn't use her perfect aim on him. Leon held his hands up in surrender, his smoky gray eyes gentle. "Sorry, didn't mean for it to offend you or anything...Maybe he'll be sent to the Academy, or Camp Half Blood. It's not a place we can penetrate." He offered her a few words of hope. It was a high possibility. Satyrs specialized in sensing demigods.

Places you can't ever go...she thought gladly. Irissia wanted to bad to join Artemis, but Aphrodite had some sort of need for her, either that are she still disliked Artemis for doing her whole anti-love-campaign thing. "Let's just go eat," she muttered not wanting to talk of it any longer. She cared too much for the sun god. Having meet him long ago. And his offspring had to be protected to her.

Leon wordlessly followed Irissia back to their table without arguing. He slid back into his seat just as their food arrived, but he had lost his appetite. The girl sitting across from him had attachments to many gods, as he had noticed. He was but just one monster with few backups. "You think I'm naive, don't you? For protecting her, that is." He spoke up, twirling his fork, but not eating. "I will be making a lot of enemies. But what about you? What you just did, I mean."

Irissia slowly picked up her food with her fork as she replied. "No. Not naive. Stupid in love sure. Stupid for falling in love with a demigod of course. But not naive. I think it's natural for monsters to never have what they want. Part of the fates screwing us over," she told him not looking at him but her food.
"Enemies. Psh. They are nothing but shadows." she looked up with a smile. "If I wanted. I can shot this arrow at the door but be aiming for you. No matter what it will kill you. I have no worries. I never miss. I've never been killed. I've continued living getting old. And going back to a youthful form because Aphrodite insists on keeping me young. The flower of beauty she calls it," Irissia rolled her eyes. Her sharpness having dulled down to the point she was speaking quite freely, not kind, no never. But not harsh. Just neautral.
