Leon's vision was coming in pieces. He watched as Arcane changed, turning into his misty dragon form. What did he think he was doing? He staggered forward, gripping onto Tori's arm, and gently moving her backwards to stand in front. "Stop it, Arcane! What are you doing?!" This wasn't looking good, and he doubted the son of Ladon was listening to him. "Can't you see she doesn't know what's going on? You're scaring her!"

Tori continued stepping away from Arcane feeling frightened of his suddent disappearance. But at least his eyes stood out…His terrifying eyes…Swallowing her fear she tried to keep her posture, if she learned anything during her many summer camps and karate tournaments its that you should never lose your posture and a clear mind. But frantically the fact this insane boy just turned into what looked like a shadowy lizard freaked her out.
“I’m afraid I’m not following you…” she said trying to feel for something behind her as she continued scooting back. Her hazel eyes wide in fear as she scooted behind Leon. He obviously knew more of the situation than she did. Possibly he had seen this before?
Next time…no talking to hooded strangers in dark alleys. No questions asked…

Arcane let out another growl, taking a few steps forward and baring his teeth, the white flashing through the darkness. He didn't want to attack with Leon in the way. He wanted to get to Tori, not Leon. He would thank him for this, later, but he supposed he understood why he was resisting. Hesitating, he lifted off, into the air, flapping his wings and heading above the demigod daughter of Aphrodite, letting out a quieted roar, not wanting to draw attention to himself.

Leon's world was spinning. At the worst possible time, too. He tried to straighten himself out and regain his senses, but his side gave a throb that was more excruciating than he had expected, and it surprised him. He rolled onto the ground, letting out a small gasp of pain. He could barely see what was going on. "Get out of here, Tori...Told you there were such things as...monsters."

Tori honestly was not liking this. He could fly to? Great what can't he do? Spinning around to look up she stated at the strange creature. Feeling completely ridiculous now. He obviously wasn't mortal, and that didn't look like something a demigod would do...
"Leon..." she whispered feeling scared. Her hazel eyes turning to him for a moment before looking back up. She didn't know what to do. She didn't know how to fight. She was too scared to run. And frantically she was feeling confused. But seeing him on the ground arose a wave of panic "No. Your hurt!" and probably dying she added silently as she knelt down next to him and tried to help him up.

(Is Leon going to save Tori or is Arcane just gonna back off to help Leon?)
Arcane landed behind Tori, taking a few steps forward, ready to attack, when he saw Leon fall. He wondered what he should do: Attack who he believed to be tricking Leon or help Leon? Letting out another roar, he took another step when he saw Tori go towards Leon, only to find she was helping him up. Maybe she wasn't working against them - trying to lead them into an ambush or a trap or something. Maybe it was all a misunderstanding. No, Arcane doubted it.

(I guess attack, and Leon shall get in the way. XD. Injuring my cherries is the best.)
Leon saw everything really fuzzy. He wasn't thinking properly, and he kind of couldn't think properly in the situation. He managed to get back up on his feet when he heard Tori's voice. It was definitely going to be hard to convince her that he was okay now. And...what was going on again? The events were going by too fast for him to follow.

Tori heard a roar. A chill going up her spine. It didn't sound like a friendly two year olds roar in the latest Noah's Ark production, it sounded more..,threatening. Deadly you could say, backing up she stared at Arcane. Leon's sword...he had it earlier didn't he? She thought looking around momentarily. Of course she wouldn't know how to use it. But at least she could poke the beast to death before she died as well...

Arcane lunged forward, finally deciding killing Tori, quickly, then getting Leon to safety would be more important than making sure Leon was okay, right now. Baring his teeth and forelegs outstretched, claws ready to shred, he was intent on a kill, quick but still painful, letting loose hatred on his prey. He would make it quick, yes, but painless was something it would not be.

Dodgeball actually had a use after all! Jumping to the side to avoid getting hurt by Arcane's pointy claws. But in the process nearly tripped over her own feet stumbling a bit before regaining her balance. Her hazel eyes locked on Arcane as she focused on surviving. And hopefully getting help, which she would need soon because dodging Wouk be tiring all day...

(Sorry, eating dinner.)
Leon managed to get his feet to work. His mind wasn't working properly, why was he doing this? For a demigod, too. The people that had resulted in the death of his father, and forced him to stand so alone for so long. "Stop it!" Leon shouted at Arcane, planting himself in front of Tori as he came charging past. There was a screech as one of his claws caught his arm. He didn't know that Tori had dodged. It was unfortunate that he had got in the way for nothing. He was knocked aside, sliding across the concrete on his back.

(no prob. Bout to get off though it's already 2:40 and I got a inspection tomorrow -.- 1st period...sigh. I'm not ready...)
Tori heard the screeching and covered her ears but automatically looked for Leon. "LEON!" she yelled worried and hoping he was fine. Her gaze watching in horror as he slid back. Was he hurt? She wondered worried as she held herself back from rushing over to check. The strange creature being the biggest threat right now. She bit he lip, she wanted to help Leon. But she couldn't with Arcane attacking...

Leon let out a small groan, his shirt was pretty much ruined, and he knew that he had probably skinned a part of his back. It didn't help the condition of his side, and he was in no condition to move around anymore. But still, he forced himself to sit up, one arm propping him upright. "Stay away!" He shouted back at her, trying to sound as commanding as a half dead monster could sound.

Arcane's eyes widened as he turned back into his mortal form, clearing away some of the mist. "What the hell did you do that for!?" he shouted. "Can't you smell Ares kids on her! What about the kids of Athena there, too?" Quieting his voice, slightly, as to not yell at a nearly dead friend who most likely hated him at the moment. "She's tricking you. She is the daughter of Aphrodite, she tends to be able to manipulate certain feelings, if ya know what I mean! She's using you, leading you to your own death. Are you really that blind?" He wanted to crouch down and help Leon but he knew there was nothing he could do at the moment and with Tori right there, he refused to make himself any more vulnerable than he was at the moment, without a sword and in his mortal form.

When Carter took his mortal form Tori saw he wasn't much off a threat instantly running towards Leon. Her hazel eyes flashing with both worry and frustration her gaze turning up to Arcane angrily as she knelt down next to Leon to help "I'm doing no such!" she yelled at him angrily. It wasn't her fault her bodyguards were demigods, and her tutors were children of Athena.
Seeing the black mist slowly fade she racked her brains for a possibility. Thanatos was dead, Hades was fortune, Nyx was night, Hecate couldn't turn into a large mythical being. It was unnatural. Her voice lowered "What are you?" her voice was barely a whisper. Her voice showing a slight bit of the fear she felt
