Tori wasn't sure how much longer. But she remembered passing by this stop sign...then again she could be lost. So she wasn't the best ag reading signs...but it wasn't her fault she didn't know which street was which nor which street she loved on. Though she was pretty sure if she crossed through the leaning buildings and into the alleys she would make it back home.
Leon probably beside her with the food. But she wouldn't know her complete focus was on getting home. Coming to a street she was about tl cross when the pedestrian light turned red. But feeling impatient she dashed across knowing she wouldn't get run over. Since she did somehow draw attention as daughter of Aphrodite. Her golden hair beautiful and flowing behind her as she reached the other side. Feeling lose she looked down at her phone. Having taken a picture of her address for future reference.
Walking into the alley she searched for a lonely pedestrian to give her directions. Her hazel eyes studying the photograph. Even in pictures she couldn't read...great.

Leon had been following Tori, though he had been slowed down a considerable bit by his wound. he bent down to tie his shoes, forgetting to tell tori to wait for him. when she looked up, she had disappeared from his view. in slight annoyance, he searched for her scent, standing up to follow the girl. He had to make himself walk normally, but it was hard with the Demeter kid's poison sapping his strength. He was glad he had eaten him for revenge.
Now where could that silly girl be? She obviously wasn't good with directions because he sensed her turned into an alleyway. Wait...alleyway? Was she trying to get attacked by a monster? He began to walk more hurriedly.

Arcane had scented a demigod and decided it was time to eat, since it had been a while since he had a nice meal. He was walking around, keeping ahead of her. He had his hood pulled up and was in a dark alley when he saw the demigod approach. A daughter of Aphrodite. Sounds tasty. he thought. His entire body was covered by his jacket and it's hood and his jeans. Plus, he was in a dark alley which meant even if he didn't have his hood up, it would be difficult to recognize him. He wouldn't talk to her, first, and make the approach this time. Instead, he would wait for his prey to come to him. After all, it was a child of Aphrodite. They always needed help with something.

Tori walked up to the hooded figure. If he wasn't mortal, he was demigod. Monsters didn't exist. Dangers weren't present in her world. And that was that. "Excuse me. Do you mind telling me where this is at." Showing him some of the screes since she covered the rest with her thumb not wanting to be stalked by a possible stalker. She had momentarily forgotten Leon. And when she remembered him figured hr must be behind her but in too much pain to talk. Which made her impatient "do you mind being quick?" She asked the hooded figure tapping her foot. Her deep hazel eyes narrowing as she tried to see a face.

Leon couldn't see her. He couldn't pinpoint her properly. The crowd was too large. He was beginning to panic now, and wondering why he cared about her safety. He was running now, despite his throbbing side while hollding onto their food. He stopped, looking into an alleyway. Wrong one. It had to be the next. He took off frantically, not bothering to apologize to anyone he bumped into.

Arcane nodded, knowing the city like the back of his own hand seeing as how he's lived here for centuries. "Yes, it's right over... that way," he said, pointing in the general direction of the street which was named in the address. "Or, better yet, I could walk you there. I mean, after all, 'that way' probably isn't the best directions to give," he laughed, pulling down his hood when he determined no one was around. It would make him more trustworthy if she could see his face and realize he wasn't an adult or anything, though it was still rather dark.

Tori shrugged "I suppose that's fine..." she said turning her hazel eyes away from him as he put down his hood. Not sewing Leon she frowned...maybe he was ahead?... walking forward she looked back at Arcane to see his face. Or a dark shadowy version ofit. The light still not bright enough. "Ohh I'm Tori by the way," she said shrugging. Introductions were polite. Right?

Leon skidded to a stop, confirming her location. He was gasping for breath and his wound had reopened, staining his shirt a bright red. No one was around, and he had gotten her scent. but there was another one, and it was the smell of a monster. Cursing, he suddenly stopped. He knew this scent. He walked into the alleyway, trying to get his memory running at who it belonged to.
"Tori!" He had caught sight of her now, and headed down the narrow street. Leon eyed Arcane as he approached them, taking it slowly and cautiously. What should he say? Get away from him?

Arcane smiled, not knowing if Tori could see him or not. "My name's Carter." Walking up a little ahead, he said, "Now, let's get you to where you need to be, alright?" he said, laughing. He didn't know what to say, really, and, since they weren't best friends or anything - the chance of that ever happening being extremely low - he stayed pretty silent like most boys would. Then again, this is a child of Aphrodite and she knew what she was. She would expect a little flirting. Mentally sighing, he decided he'd have to fit a little of it in there, somewhere.

Tori looked around when someone called ber name. Behind her Leon walking ul. And bleeding... "Hey Leon! I thought you were up ahead!" She said smiling. But her smile faltered. The red blood making her hazel eyes turn a but darker with worry "we should hurry. Your wound looks like its getting worse..." she said.
"Carter? That sounds like a nice name." She said paying him a compliment out of kindness and the urge to have him hurry and led her home. Since he obviously knew New York better.

"I'm fine, don't worry about me." Leon was still trying to catch his breath, and he had caught up to stand beside the girl, a hand on her shoulder. Yes, he did know him, this shadowy figure. "Arcane?" He asked, a bit cautiously. He didn't plan on...um...This would definately not do. There was no way he was going to let her. He pulled her back a little, gently.

Leon...? Arcane thought as he heard the name. Spinning around, he found that Leon was running up behind them. He figured he must've been picking up some of Arcane's strategies - getting close to your prey before going in for the kill. He was unsure of what to do. Should he go back and ask if he should leave or split the food 50/50 or what? Then, he realized he was wounded. "Are you alright?" he asked with genuine worry. His own wounds from their sparring had healed a while ago. Has his reopened? Or did he get into another fight? "Um... no... my name's Carter," he said as Leon said his real name.

Tori suddently felt stupid for asking this Carter/Arcane guy for directions and was glad when Leon showed up. He didn't really need him to pull her back, since she stepped back away from the stranger who was just called Arcane rather than Carter like she believed. "So what's your name? Arcane or Carter?" she asked him feeling a bit worried now. Making a mental note not to ask strangers in dark alleys for help. Since its not the brightest plan she is coming to realise.

(Wait...so you're not going to attack Tori? -.-??)
Leon swallowed nervously, looking from Arcane to Tori. Oh, e might as well get this over with. "Um,er, Ar-Cater, thanks for the help, but she's my friend, and I can take care of her for now, but thanks for the help. I'm fine. I ran into a nasty son of Demeter earlier. the poison is keeping it from closing up." He decided he could talk freely to him because Tori was a demigod anyway, and she didn't believe in monsters. He decided he would try to explain to him that this one wasn't going to end up as food. He looked back at Tori, at a loss at what to say.

(I was still going to, yeah.)
Arcane turned to Tori when she asked her question. "Carter - Carter Velius. Your friend probably just got me mixed up with someone else," he smiled, kindly. "Okay, as you wish," he said, throwing his hands into the air. "All she did was ask for directions." Then, in a whisper, he added, "So, when are you going to eat her?" He was sure Tori couldn't hear as he was too quiet for that.
