Leon just shrugged, still not paying total attention to his surroundings. It was an odd behavior for him, and it must have been the poison, but it was something else he couldn't quite place. No, it had to be the poison. then he definately had to hurry. He quickened his pace, making sure that Tori was beside him while they followed Arcane. He himself didn't know the area too well, so he was thankful his friend was around to help.

(Is Arcane still attacking? Sorry. I'm not trying to push you but it doesn't seem like it ...) Tori looked at Leon then back at Arcane. "Fifteen minutes?..." she seemed a bit worried. What if fifteen minutes took too long? She glanced at Leon's wounds with worried hazel eyes, hopefully Kylira was there...Kylira was her old housekeeper who had raised her, and also seemed to have the solution to everything. And personally Tori wasn't sure what was needed for antidotes, nor for whatever sickness she was feeling earlier. Not so much now as she stopped thinking about Leon but more on antidotes, and other medical treatments.

(Well he was but... he really can't with how things turned out... though he'll still make fun of LEon for loving Tori. Unless I make it to where Arcane figured Leon was worried Tori would hear when he asked when they were going to eat her but with the whole him noticing Leon's tone of voice... I dunno....)
"Fifteen minutes at most," Arcane said, trying to reassure her when he noticed the worry in her voice. "We'll be there, soon, don't worry." He was getting annoyed with this girl and wondered why she had to be such a nuisance as well as what Leon saw in her... other than being Aphrodite's daughter which would naturally make many people fall in love. But Arcane had been around demigods for far too long to be affected by many of their powers. Sure, getting hit with a wave of water or burned by fire still did the damage and pain, but messing with his head... well, you had to try to purposefully mess with his memories and emotions for them to change.

(Yeah…I was thinking the same thing. But I’ve been thinking after reading your post. You could just have Arcane figure Tori was messing with Leon to kill him because he could scent other demigods on her >the sons of Ares that act as bodyguards< and thinking Leon would thank him could just attack. Either that or Tori could hurt herself be accident and just remind him of his hunger ) Tori nodded “Is there no quicker way? Surely we can get there sooner,” she told him looking over at him with large hazel eyes.

(I like the first one, I'll go with that. After all, I just rped Arcane in a thread where he ate Lasagna instead of kids so I doubt he would go after Tori because of a wound. Wait, I was rping with you in that thread so you would know... xD I forgot, already!)
Arcane shook his head. Sure there were shorter routes but he was still trying to figure out who Tori was. It was obvious she knew she was demigod. She knew she was the daughter of Aphrodite. He smelled faint traces of other demigods on her, as well, however, and wondered where they were from. He scented mostly Ares but there were traces of Athena, too (I think you said she had Athena kids as tutors). Of course, there was Aphrodite but he wasn't sure if it was just her or others, as well. Finally realizing Leon had quickened his pace as he was paying more attention to Tori than him, he said, "Leon, slow down. The more you move around the quicker the poison spreads." It wasn't a lie. He knew that was a true medical fact. Poison circulates through your bloodstream quicker if you move around a lot or move quickly. That's why you should keep an arm still if you were bitten by a snake, there - to make it easier to get the venom out.

(Lol xD TBH I forgot too xD)
Tori stopped walking as quickly as well when Arcane spoke of it being better for Leon to slow down. Looking around she wished her home would suddently appear, and pulled out her phone staring at it momentarily before flipping it open and snapping it closed. If she called her bodyguards they would definently not react kindly to these two strangers, if she called Kylira she would call her father and he would get the guards. Biting her lip she started to feel nervous. What if her guards suddently showed up?
Clearing her throat she said “Maybe we shouldn’t got through the main road…Do you know a way to get behind my house?” she asked Arcane knowing if her guards were awaiting her return they would be there, but if they were patrolling the city for her they would most likely be in every major road.
These words through would sound suspicious to one who was already suspecting her of something. Normally demigods don’t complain about which road they got home in, not unless some sort of trap was awaiting them. Then again Tori wouldn’t notice if she was arising suspicion, her lack of experience causing that much.

Leon wasn't quite paying attention because he was, unfortunately, dizzy. He just nodded absentmindedly to both Tori and Arcane, reprehending to hear, but didn't. He turned around to gaze at Tori for a while, realizing he wasn't listening at all. What about poison spreading? He wasn't thinking clearly. "Um, sure. Yeah, I just thought the faster we got there the better." He wanted to get this over with.
Leon had almost already forgotten about the Ares guards. He was sure with Tori around, they wouldn't raise a hand against him since they listened to his orders. He just wanted to get the poison out because it was bothering him, messing with him. He didn't like his senses clouded.

Tori bit her lip "So how are you feeling?" she asked Leon feeling a bit more worried now. What if he was dying? That wouldn't be good...But she wouldn't know if he was, since she hadn't seen a poisoned person in real life. But at least she can cross that out of her bucket list.

Arcane nodded, slowly, adding her request to his mental list of suspicious actions. Taking in her scent, again, he smelled the same traces of demigod on her - Ares and Athena. Slowly, he began to collect a mist, falling behind in the group as to not arouse suspicion. He didn't linger back, too far, however, as he was still supposed to be leading the others to Tori's house. The area behind them darkened as Arcane grew ready to change into a dragon.
He quickly willed the mist to travel above them and to the sides of the alley, following the path of the rain gutters. Then, the ends branched out into the middle of the alley, still at the level of the gutters, connecting directly in the middle. Before anyone could notice or say a word, the mist seemed to drop as if it were rolled in a long tube, curled up to the top of the alley. The mist surrounded them like a cage before Arcane willed it inward, the haze expanding into the center, vision becoming non-existent. "Did you really think you could fool me?" he asked, drawing his sword, most likely unnoticed by the others because of the natural darkness of the alley and the fact he always hid it, well, despite it being in plain sight. He pushed the mist out, forming a small circle of clear air around him, Leon, and Tori. "Daughter of Aphrodite - the perfect trap."

Leon leaned against the wall, his vision beginning to confuse him. Was it getting worse? At Tori's question, the fog around his mind cleared slightly. He gave her a bright smile that was convincing enough. "I'm fine, just tired."
Then the odd mist rolled in. He recognized the stuff immediately from practicing with Arcane. He looked over as his friend walked up, sword drawn. This time, his senses were too blurred to sort things out, and the wrong name came out. "Arcane...What are you doing?" What did he mean, he wasnt going to be fooled? There was nothing to be fooled about. This sword was out...What was going on?

Tori jumped back as the mist appeared. Freezing as she spun around trying to see who caused it. Then Arcane emerged. With a sword. Panic arising. "Trick you? I'm not tricking you!" she said her hazel eyes wide with fear as she stepped away from him in panic. Was he going to kill her? What would she do? She couldn't fight!

"You don't think I can't figure things out?" he asked, raising his sword and taking a swipe outwards, not really intent on actually making contact but only to scare her into admittance so maybe Leon wouldn't hate him so much.
Tori was tricking them - she had to be. What else explained her wanting to sneak in through a back alleyway or something and the scent of Ares and Athena demigods lingering on her? Arcane could find no answer. Then again, he was a monster and Tori was a demigod. They were natural enemies. He wanted to believe she was working against them - deceiving them - though it was a subconscious desire, not one he knew. He would rather have it as Tori being nice and honest but he had a feeling she wasn't.

Leon doubted he could do much to Arcane in the state he was in other than being a shield. "Arcane, stop threatening her. You don't have a reason to." His smoky gray eyes were serious as he flitted his gaze from Arcane to the daughter of Aphrodite. He was kind of confused about the tricking thing. Leon spoke slowly, cautiously. "Put the sword down!" Goodness, at this rate, Tori was going to start believing in monsters. (Short and lazy. )

Tori stepped away from Arcane not at all wanting to get into contact with the blade he was swinging. "I don't even know what your talking about!" she practically yelled at him as she looked around frantically for some sort of exit. But his mist and a combination of the dark alley made her fear running into a wall.
She was starting not to like Arcane. Well actually now she didn't like him, just ten minutes ago she would've gotten use to him. But frantically swinging a sword at someone isn't very welcoming and made him doubt his sanity.

Arcane grinned, nearly laughing. "No? You don't know what I'm talking about? Don't you think I know better?" Dropping the sword, the mist began to swirl around him as he changed, growing larger and his features becoming more reptilian. The mist began to close into the circle of still mist-less air, lowering visibility. Letting out a low growl, he began to take a step forward, his eyes piercing though the darkness - the only part of him visible.
