Garret shook his head "Actually no, I thought you must be with Sabrina after a certain someone rejected you." he didn't want to say her name in order to spare Pyre the embarrassment but it was true. Max came to the dance with Garret did she not? The true had been yet uncovers but Garret believed the lie as did Pyre, Ahh the beauty of drama.

"Since a certain someone rejected me?" Pyre asked. "I asked that certain someone and she accepted. That certain someone rejected you." Pyre rolled his eyes, taking another sip of punch. He's delusional, he thought. He actually thinks Max said no? She's here with me... where is she, anyways?

Max knew she couldn’t hide for long. Face slightly pale she took a deep breath and cautiously approached them. Her ivy eyes watching them curiously. “Hey guys, so what’s up?” she said cautiously as if dealing with two vicious monsters. Maybe they don’t know yet? But if one acts the other will react. Ohh dear what a difficult situation…

Garret ignored Max momentarily "No, child your confused. She choose me, I mean obviously," he said his obnoxious side tapping into his jerkish part of his personality as he rolled his eyes as is it were obvious. I mean it was Garret, son of Poseidon, soon to be teacher, loveable, and good looking versus Pyre son if a minor god along with some other stuff.

Max flinched automatically knowing what they were arguing about. Her ivy eyes looked ashamed. She shouldn't have gone to the same place with them...but what if it turned out alright? The mere possibility kept her from turning time and trying a different form do neither are hurt in the process.

Pyre's stare of disbelief turned to a death glare aim at both Garret and Max. "What's going on, then? She came here with me. How could she come with you, too?" he said in a voice with a fine lair of insanity creeping into the tone. "How could you be with both of us?" he asked, aiming this question directly at Max, putting her on the spot.

Garret spoke before Max could "Pyre your confused! Deranged maybe! She cane here with me, not us," Garret was getting annoyed. Of course it was Pyre who made the mistakes. Not Max. But then again what if it was Max? No it couldn't be Max. She was too...innocent...

Max took a hesitant step back not wanting to have to deal with all the trouble. But when Garret spoke she opened her mouth to protest but no words came out. She was silent and shocked to hear the cruelty in Garret's voice and insanity in Pyre's. She but her lip. This was a mess, her mess.

"Confused? Deranged? Thanks, Garret. I've stood by you, thought we were friends. No, of course we're not," Pyre said, his eyes giving away the mental break down he was going through. He knew Garret. He knew he wouldn't lie. But he still couldn't believe Max would be with both of them on the same night. Still, he thought it was too good to be true to win over Max. Apparently, it was. "Of course we weren't friends," he repeated, "because you're the son of Poseidon. I'm just the kid of an insane wind god."

(lol sorry this made me burst into laughter)
Garret glared at Pyre "Yeah, we'll friends don't exactly try to steal their friend's date and blame her!" Garret felt a bit guilt at those words but it was true. Pure was insane, and Garret was a jerk. The other Demi gods stopped to listen to the fight. Pyre's words infuriating Garret "What's that suppose to mean? Do you think I'm obnoxious now Pyre? Do you think I would judge you because your dad is a insane maniac who blows around like a fairy all day?!?!" wow. Garret was a bit more than a jerk. His sea green eyes flashing angrily.

(Haha, oh wow...)
Pyre's eyes narrowed. "You're a Big Three child," he said in a way that seemed to say 'yes' to all of what Garret said. "I'm blaming her because I trusted you, Garret. I was friends with you long before I started liking Max. I thought I could reply on your word. Apparently, it's not the same for you if you can't believe me - if you can't get it through your thick head that I'm telling the truth and I trust that you are, too." It was true. Pyre would have trusted Garret with his life. They'd been friends for years. Garret was the first real friend Pyre had made when they arrived at SCA. They would get into small fights but most were just jokes. Now... now he didn't know what to think of Garret. The confusion was just adding on to his insanity.

Max frowned. This was not coming to her favor. Rewinding time to right before Garret and Pyre started arguing Max decided to attempt a new approach. Tapping Garret on the shoulder she acted innocent flashing a brilliant smile to Pyre as if saying she'd be back "Garret someone wants to talk to you," this way she could keep them away from each other long enough so that things could play out in everyone's favor.

Garret's eyes narrowed slightly and he smiled down at her with both amusement and suspicion. Not knowing who would want to talk to him, but amused at how calm she seemed. It was like she had time to think this through. "Sure, who is it?" he asked her hoping for a answer as he followed her.

Max actually felt a bit more confident about this try than the last. "It's Kyle," she said clearing her throat as she approached Kyle. Directing her words towards the short red headed boy she said "Well here is Garret, he can show you the dance now so you can actually do it right!" the boy's eyes narrowed as if debating if it was a compliment or not. Dear gods. How are you child of Athene? she wondered forcing her smile. "Well I'll see you later!" and she told Garret and skipped away to watch the situation from afar and decide on a bullet proof plan.

The poor guy looked confused, and for a moment Garret wondered why. Shrugging he began using the patience he did somehow have. Sighing he started his teaching. Well at least he's practicing for his future job now...although he'd rather be with Max, or just hanging out with his best friend Pyre...
