Pyre smiled. "Nah, not at the moment. She's gone off to the bathroom, I think." He wasn't one to use different, more proper names for places. He wasn't about to call it the powder room or anything. A bathroom was a bathroom whether it had a bathtub or not.
"For now, I'm free to talk to whoever I want. I really don't want to drown in that mob over there, so I came over to you." Then, not wanting to sound as if he thought she had no life, he added, "You're not busy, are you, Sabrina?" Taking one of those cheap, plastic cups schools set out at dances, he filled it with fruit punch and took a sip. "I hope I'm not keeping you from anything or... anyone..." he said, Garret in mind. He'd seen how Sabrina's expression changed in the slightest manner when Garret walked up to her. He thought maybe - just maybe - Garret may be at the dance with a date, after all. Oh, how true that was.
(Okay, it's going to bug me. I've tried to ignore it but... oh well. I'll point it out. Hera is spelled with one R. The Hera Cabin is supposed to be spelled with one R. Why are there two?

( cause I'm not sure how it's spelled and my lit book has it double R-Ed while my history book has it singled. So I favored literature and went double xDDD) Max smiled and zoned out a bit slowing time so she could think. So of she spent time with Garret she would leave Pyre wondering if she jumped out of the window. But if she disappeared now Garret would wonder were she was going. And the bathroom excuse wouldn't hold up all night. Frowning she froze time and decided to go find her sister, who was infacy ineffective by the slowing of time. Finding the younger girl she tapped her shoulder "Hey I need your help..." and with that the story spilled out. Her sibling shaking her head slightly "Ok...I suppose, but I suggest deciding soon, I can't promise helping if it involved reversing time..." Max nodded and they both stood infront of Garret when time progressed once more. The other child of Chronos smiled at Garret "Hey you still need to teach me how to Wop," and without waiting she dragged him away from Max do she could make her escape. Problem was she didn't want to step into Sabrina's conversation do she decided to take a real break for a moment, wishing she could blend into the wall and solve this whole messy problem.

Garret smiled at Max's sister ?Elisabeth¿ "Ahh yes, the Wop," he grinned and went to the DJ requesting the song Wop so he could instruct. But feeling impatient he just began "Ok you have to move your feet like this..." and he demonstrated smiling and laughing. And when he finished he couldn't see Max, sighing he shrugged spotting Pyre with Max's sister close by to keep him away from Max and not let him know he approached his best friend and Sabrina "Yellow Pie," his laugh joking.

Pyre turned to find his friend behind him. "Jeez, don't sneak up on me like that!" he laughed, playfully punching Garret in the shoulder. "Elizabeth! haha what a joke, greetings<3 Matt, how are you?" the boy asked, looking at the girl with Garret. "I haven't talked to you in a while apart from what I'm supposedly required to do as Dorm Leader." Pyre was about to ask if she was Garret's date but decided against it. It was obvious she must be since they were together, practically shoulder to shoulder. Then again, Pyre, himself, was standing here, talking to Sabrina, and he was with Max. He supposed being next to someone didn't exactly justify they are at the dance, together. Still, he didn't ask.

Max smiled her plan actually working. Taking a deep breathe she grinned and decided to actually relax a bit before beginning the chaos once more. But then she felt a tap on her shoulder, a child of Athena looking nervous. Looking quickly at Pyre and Garret she hoped they didn't notice as she put down a cup of fruit punch and followed the child since he was wanting to ask Elisabeth to dance but since the girl was helping her she sighed biting her lip and contemplating the situation. Sighing she frowned and said 'I'm she's helping a friend right now...'
Elisabeth smiled at Pyre "Hey Pyre, haven't spoken to you either," she shrugged her gold dress blending smoothly with her reddish brown hair that was slicked back.

Garret laughed "Pshh don't hate on my ninja skillz," he said stretching the z and letting a Polish accent slip in smoothly but a bit faintly. Smiling at Sabrina he greeted her "Hello Sabrina, enjoying the dance do far?" he wasn't exactly gonna start asking when she and Pyre started hanging and when he asked her to the dance, at least not until Pyre started talking to Elizaveth since he didn't want to hurt Pyre by making it clear he was the winner and with Max.

Pyre laughed as if Garret had told a joke. "You have ninja skillz!?" he said, jokingly. He noticed a faint Polish accent which was strange as he hadn't known Garret was Polish. Life was full of surprises. First, he had found Garret had asked Max's little sister to the dance, since Max had gone with him - pathetic, really. Now, Garret also turns out to be Polish. Pyre had always figured he was half Greek, as all demi-gods were, and half a mixture of more common American nationalities. German. Irish. British. Italian. French. A little Native American. Polish was a little unusual around Virginia. You don't see many people from Polish descent. Don't get him wrong, he has nothing against the Polish. It's just a little of a surprise as he'd never sensed a Polish accent from Garret, before.
Pyre knew Polish accents as he had grown up with a best friend who was Polish, his parents immigrated to America a year before he was born. With the memory of his friend, he had to hold back tears. He couldn't break down, now. Not in front of Garret and Elizabeth. Not in front of Sabrina. And, especially not when Max could be back at any moment. No, he would keep his cheery reputation, tonight. He was determined to. He was supposed to be the nice, over-joyed, annoying, teacher's pet of the school, not the depressing, emotionally unstable misfit.

Elisabeth was feeling a bit out of conversation with their little exchange and started to slowly inch backwards to find her real date, or half date since he was several shy and turned tomato red while asking her and never completely finished the sentence but whatever. A date is a half date. Dances are dramatic.

Garret shrugged "Don't act surprised. Everybody knows I've got skillz like nobody else," he grinned and patted his hair down and looked around for Max but noticed Elizabeth disappeared shrugging he figured "Guess she went to find her date..." he said shrugging and half to himself. Blinking he focused on Pyre again do seemed alittle thoughtful but Garret knew better than pestering Pyre with questions

"Oh," Pyre said, blinking. "You mean you weren't her date? I mean... no offense to her but that would've been pretty pathetic since she's, y'know, a little too young." Pyre really didn't want to make Garret mad but it was pretty hard to say the right things when your trying to explain how you thought your best friend had taken your date's little sister to a dance since he couldn't take Max but you just found out he didn't.

Now that the two were together Max wasn't sure how this would end, especially since Elisabeth disappeared. Biting her lip she wished she had thought her plan out more. Maybe next time she should put them in opposite sides of the planet? So if she froze time she had time to get across. But even that would be tiring...ohh dear, she was a orange in a bottle...

Garret rolled his eyes "Pyre I already have a date, I don't need you believing I have another," he grinned not wanting to bloat he didn't give a name. Since he knew Pyre asked out his date as well. Looking around he searched for Max, where did she say she went again? Maybe he should go find her...

"Uh-huh, sure. I'm sure you do have a date, for once in your life," Pyre joked, smiling at Garret so he knew not to take offense. "Nah, I'm sure ya do. Speaking of which, I wonder where mine went off to. She said she had to go to the restroom but that was a while ago," he said, looking around the room.

Garret grinned "Really I thought Sabrina was your date. Though I have to admit this is the first time a date of mine has disappeared as well, I suppose our skillz put together may be blinding and keeping our ladies away," he laughed shrugging as he scanned the room for Max.

"Nah, Sabrina's not my date," he said, glancing to Sabrina who seemed to be left out of the conversation. Turning back, he said, "You know who I'm here with, don't you?" Not waiting for an answer, he turned and filled a cup with fruit punch and took a sip.
