Leon could tell he was gloating, and he had to admit that it kind of irritated him. He slid to the side the sword whistling past him. "Why don't you see for yourself?" He asked, almost playfully. His grin resembling the chesire cat's. He swung a right fist instead of his blade (which happened to be in his left at the time, after all, he was a lefty) at Arcane's stomach. Leon actually didn't know what his skin was made of. He would have to aske his father to know something like that.
(Blargh, lazy.)

(Haha, it's fine)
Arcane braced himself for impact, nearly collapsing to the ground as the breath was taken from him as the fist made contact. Maybe he should take things up? He thought about it for a moment, deciding he midas well. Before Leon had time to react, Arcane had his black mist surrounding him, shrouding him from view. He quickly retreated from Leon, jumping onto a ledge where the tunnel had begun to cave in from it's lack of maintenance, silently.
Quietly, he waited from atop the ledge, breathing shallowly to make the least possible amount of sound, unmoving. He did his best to keep watch below him, waiting for the son of the Nemean Lion to make his move. He thinned the mist, slightly, in front of him to increase visibility, making the rest of the tunnel around him pitch black.

Whoa, a hit. It even surprised him, nearly. Leon pulled back in case Arcane attempted to stab him from their close range to each other. And here came that mysterious black mist again. The son of the Nemean lion stepped back, frowning. Then he sprang back again as it consumed him, only finding that there was nowhere to run. The stuff was everywhere. He refrained from opening his mouth and shouting, he didn't want to know what it tasted like, if it tasted like anything.
Again his features turned share and feline, eyes slanting upward with a golden glint. The whiskers were the uncomfortable part he didn't enjoy, but it helped with his senses. Just because he couldn't see didn't mean he could hear or smell. He scented Arcane above him somewhere. He could only get his general direction since he wasn't full lion. He didn't like that form anyway. Leon pondered exactly what to do next. If he went to find Arcane and attack, he would be at a disadvantage, giving away his spot by moving around when he couldn't even see. He would probably trip on something and give him an opening. Leon decided to wait.

Frowning, after a while, Arcane realized Leon wasn't attacking. So, instead, he found that the wall beside him was climbable via a series of lead pipes, missing bricks, and other things. So, he climbed, silently, grabbing one of the many pipes that went over the tops of subway tunnels - even disused ones. He was making his way above Leon, ready to drop. The top of the tunnel was mistless, so he could see what he was doing and if any danger was near. He'd been killing in every environment from common mortal living rooms to British cliffsides. He could navigate through any obstacle and all he had to do was pin Leon to the ground. He didn't have to follow through with the kill. If he did, he'd be shunned by all monsters. It would be horrible. He didn't want that. Besides, the way he saw things, killing mortals or demigods was like hunting while killing another monster was homicide.

Leon closes his eyes slowly and somewhat hesitantly. They weren't helping him anyway. He could see nothing but cloudy darkness. He focused all his other senses and heightened his awareness. He concentrated his hearing every where, ears turning a bit sharper and pointed. Still there was no sound. Being slightly frustrated, he focused on his smell. Now where was he...?
(Mwahahaha, lazy again.)

Seeing his opportunity, Arcane leaped from the pipe above Leon, directly down upon him. It was a rather long fall but he'd fallen further, faster. Arcane would be fine, though he wasn't entirely sure of Leon.
(Haha, yeah, like you said... lazy! xP)

Leon caught the scent suddenly. He jerked his head upward as a dark figure crashed down upon him. He didn't react fast enough, and fount that Arcane was on top of him. "Ouch, man...I'm lucky my head is hard, or else my skull would have cracked open." It almost came out as a complaint as he struggled underneath his opponent to try and throw him off, but he was heavier than he had anticipated. His sword arm was a bit loose, all he had to do was free just his arm and take a stab, possibly.

Arcane had landed on him! He was surprised he'd aimed it, correctly. Not hesitating, however, Arcane leaped off, slashing backwards. He vaguely wondered if that was the correct move or if he should have stayed on him and pinned him down. But the son of Ladon was focused on the battle more than his thoughts. "Oh? Did I hurt you?" he laughed, jokingly, hoping Leon didn't take it as an insult. "Y'know, maybe next time you probably shouldn't punch a person in the gut with your fist of steel!" he laughed, again, ready to lunge at any moment.

Leon felt the weight lessen a small bit. The moment Arcane sprang off, he sat up, blinking as his flashing blade glanced off his wrist. "Well, you can't expect it to not hurt, right? I mean, you're pretty heavy." He countered his tease with a playful joke of his own. He hopped back onto his feet, eyeing the son of Ladon.
After contemplating for a while, he just charged straight forward, pretty much out of ideas. He swung, spinning out at him.

Arcane laughed, poking his gut. "I'm not fat! I've got a killer six-pack!" But, before he could regain focus, Leon had charged. Literally charged. Caught by surprise, he dove to the side, flopping onto the concrete ground, scratching his elbows, chin, and knees. "For lack of a better word," he said, in a highly educated tone, before returning to his normal voice, "Ouch."
He was tempted to revert to his primal, dragon form but decided against it, thinking he was more than a match for Leon as he was and just needed to pay attention, more. Stabbing toward Leon, as best you can stab with a curved scimitar, he widened the line of sight to where he and Leon were fighting in a circle of light, surrounded by the mist.

Honestly, the mist was agitating Leon, disrupting his focus. He was surprised to find that Arcane just literally leapt out of the way. Looked like he wasn't the only one having concentration problems. "Sorry, I didn't wait for you to finish." He snickered just maybe a little bit in reply.
Leon met his blade with his own, sparks showering as he swung to knock the sharp edge away from him to avoid being run through, though the blade was curved. He didn't want to test it out, though. He spun a sharp kick at his wrist to disarm him, wondering how exactly he could defeat him. His mind was whirring at full gear for possibilities.

Arcane didn't take offense by his comment, almost wanting to applaud him. Maybe there was hope for this guy, after all. But, as Leon kicked out, Arcane immediately jumped back. "Was that a roundhouse kick?" Arcane chuckled. "Here, I thought we were sword-fighting."
Eyes full of amusement, he slashed out in a wide arc. "I've been disarmed once, before. Let's not do it again, okay?" Shrugging, he added, "Given, I was the one to willingly drop the sword. It wasn't knocked out of my hand. But the point still stands."

Leon stopped for a moment, "I was just trying it out, but that's fine with me too." He kept his speed up, not willing to give Arcane a break. He followed him as he retreated, slicing at his side, the blade like a silvery arc of moonlight.
"Well, disarming is an efficient way for victory." Leon pointed out bluntly.

Arcane blocked every swipe and stab of Leon's blade, occasionally attacking with his own series of strikes. He saw he was nearing the arched wall of the tunnel and decided it was about time he turn the tables. As he neared ever closer to the edge of the tunnel, he quickly spun out of the way, stopping behind Leon and sending a flash of celestial bronze in his direction.

Leon fought steadily, following his every move with his heightened eyesight. He blocked and countered, weaving his blade around, but always found it meeting up again with Arcane's. He kept his small smile there, slightly enjoying the fact that he had met his match, and that he could still improve. He missed a swing as his opponent stepped past him. Quickly, he whipped around, catching the flash of the blade. He had time to block it as it glanced off his upheld right arm. It managed bounce and cut his side. It was tiny and insignificant. Nothing to worry about. He returned with a slash of his own at his stomach.
