Arcane rounded a corner and ducked into an alley, laying the ball out in the middle of the sidewalk, ready to lunge and put Irissia on a leash, the plan being for Irissia to pause a moment to grab the ball - the moment he would use to his advantage.

Like any puppy as soon as he set down the ball she darted forward and catch Kt jumping back and crouchign down her tail waging as she waited for him to take the ball and throw it so she could go catch it. She always will. Its the little power she has in her dog form.

At that moment, Arcane leaped out, hooking the leash onto a small metal loop on the otherwise non-metallic collar. "Gotcha," he grinned, holding tight to the leash and taking the ball from the dog. "Now where were we going before the pet store?" he asked, as if asking her to reply.

Irissia cocked her head to the sad looking sad when he took her toy, her head bowing as if in defeat. In fact Irissia didn't respond. She was getting comfortable in her dog form, her mind switching to a different set of thoughts, feelings, and commands. Irissia looked around. And tugged at the collar heading in the opposite direction obviously not really thinking like she was before going into the pet store.

Arcane sighed, knowing that wasn't where she was heading, originally, so, instead, he knelt down and wrapped his hands under her, picking her up and resting her in his arms. "I think I'm just going to take you home, now. After all, it doesn't look like your going anywhere in particular. You were just wanting in the pet store, weren't you?" he asked, laughing.

Irissia scrambled around in his arms unsure of what he was talking about. All she wanted was to wander around. She was curious. Her ears pricked and she looked up at him confused. Home? What home? And where did her toy go? Did she smell bone? Her light eyes expressed curiosity, and confusion. But other than that she behaved liked any other puppy.

Luckily for Arcane, he was near an entrance to the subways. Walking down into the mortal subways, he made his way to a secluded space in a shady corner and ducked down into a hole behind a stand selling hot chocolate, coffee, and tea. Soon, the hole opened up and he was in a hallway. He quickly turned into a doorway, closing the door behind him and making sure the other door leading out of the room were also closed. Flipping on a light, he set the dog/Irissia down, handing her the bone. "It'd be better if you changed back into yourself," he complained.

The smell. These smells. Doggie Irissia squirmed trying to get out if here. It smelled...wrong. This definently wouldn't be where she eats her bones. She was about to paw at the door when she caught sight of her reflection. A small broken mirror on the floor. As if something clicked Irissia suddently remembered she was a mortal monster thing and jumped up in a flash she felt herself suddently appear out of dust in mortal form her head throbbing and something around her neck. "Ouch..." she muttered rubbing her head. What had she been doing chasing cars all day? Tugging at whatever was at her neck she glared at Arcane "What the hell is around my neck?!" she bellowed only remembering turning into a dog and heading towards the animal shelter.

Arcane rushed over, releasing the collar from Irissia's neck. "Um... you mean... you don't remember?" he asked, laughing. "Well, first off: Give me a warning before running off into a pet store! Second: I really don't think you deserve this bone or your squeaky toy with your behavior, you bad dog," he laughed, pulling out a small squeaky ball from his jacket pocket. "And third: Enjoy your new collar and leash," he smiled, throwing it over at Irissia.

Irissia glared at him. If anything she looked ready to kill him "YOU LET ME GO INTO A PET STORE!!!! AND YOU GOT ME A LEASH?!?!" she yelled angrily. Her dark eyes blazing in fury. A pet store? Didn't he know she was part dog, and she loved playing! And huskies definently weren't obedient unless trained? Was he insane? What if she attacked a cat? Then a leash? A leash! That's outrageous!

Arcane laughed, not paying any attention to the glare. "Your fault. You expect me to keep up with you? The leash was a last resort. Otherwise, you'd still be out there running around and playing with your squeaky toy." To emphasize the point, he tossed the ball over to Irissia. "So, you can't remember any of it?" he asked.

Irissia caught the ball and chucked it at the wall right next to his head. Before it even touched the wall Irissia drew an arrow and shot the ball through the center pinned next to his head "No I certainly don't remember being your pet," she snapped. Her eyes dark.

Arcane turned and plucked the arrow from the wood behind it, the ball still on the point. "Not like I enjoyed it," he muttered. "You're not very obedient. Then again, you're not much better in your normal human-looking form, either," he grinned, not able to stop himself from joking. It was so easy to mess with her though going too far was something he did not want to do. If he did, he'd be on a bus to Tartarus and end up losing his socks in a poker match with Kronos while his mortal body reformed on Earth.

Irissia growled at Arcane "I can also turn into a large fully grown husky and rip you to shreds," she snarled. Not liking the image of herself as a puppy playing catch with this....thing!

Arcane was tempted to say something along the lines of 'go ahead and try' but decided against it, throwing his hands up in defeat. "Okay, okay. So why did you turn into a dog, anyways, since I guess you weren't planning on going to the pet store."
