"Homeless?" Leon almost laughed as she stuck to the notion, "Hey, come on. When did I ever really have a home? I lived in the subway tunnels. One of my friends offered a place to stay in an apartment building, way better than where I was. I'm not homeless, at least not now. Besides, I know how to take care of myself. If I ever did really lose a place to stay, I could make the best of it."

Tori kept quiet not really knowing how to respond. Subway tunnels wasn't a home... But that was better than nothing, which was all he had now. Nothing. Thanks to her... Stubbornly guilty, the worse kind of stubborn. But that was Tori...

"Hey, will you stop looking so depressed?" Leon laughed, trying his best not to have a forced smile. He took her hand gently, keeping them walking. "Actually, I was thinking about..." He paused, wondering if he should tell her about him following her on the journey. He had gone from thinking about visiting Tori to staying in her area and visiting back here. He would hold it off...for now.

Tori sighed forcing a beautiful smile at him. Though her hazel eyes were still masked with the guilt. Blinking as they continued moving her thoughts were veered away from feeling guilty. Her curiosity consuming her mind "Thinking about what?" she asked wondering what he was heading at. Seeing that at this point she didn't know where the conversation would lead.

Leon strode beside her, his pace slowing just the slightest bit at her question. It was obvious that he didn't know how to reply, but he was horrible at lying. It was either tell her the truth or say nothing. And he wanted to be as honest as possible with her.
"I was thinking...about moving there with you. There are places right outside of the Academy where I can stay. I can...revisit some places where I used to be before I moved here by the Camp." He said quietly.

Tori paused momentarily before walking again. Not speaking as she thought this over. This was good. For her. But would it be the best thing for Leon? Surely he liked New York which is why he was here? But she couldn't tell him not to, she wanted him to come with her.
But she couldn't deny the fact it was selfish of her to have Leon move for her. Surely he liked his life here? Would he really be willing to give it up for her?

Leon continued on, studying Tori with curious gray eyes. "You're not replying." He tilted his head slightly, wondering what was going through her mind at the moment. He couldn't bear the thought of just leaving Tori, and sure, he would be a little homesick. He had lived in the Subways for a long time, and it was probably the only home he had ever thought was going to be permanent. But there wasn't much left for him here, anyway. None of the monsters would accept him. He would go back by the Academy, visit some old friends.
"You know, I just want to make sure you'll be at home there. Make sure nothing happens." He told the daughter of Aphrodite sincerely. He wanted to keep an eye on the girl, hopefully, in time, the monsters would get bored and leave her alone. Besides, with the famous son of the Nemean Lion nearby, they would be wary, at least.

Tori bit her lip blinking "Sorry..." she mumbled thoughtfully. "It's just I don't want you to leave your home to go just for me. It would be selfish of me," she said earnestly as they continued walking towards her house. The demigod's hazel eyes on the small stores they walked passed but not expressing interest in them.

They stopped one house away from hers. He didn't want her father to catch sight of him. He would be going back on his promise if he did see him, and then the hired assassins would come. He smiled at Tori, shaking his head. "It's my choice. I not going to let you go alone, okay? Don't think you're selfish."

Tori nodded pausing with him. Her hazel eyes looking at her house warily. She didn't want to go inside now...But she knew she had to. "Ok...I'll see you later then," she said smiling slightly as she gave him a quick hug before stepping away and walking back towards her house. Knowing by now her father would probably be searching for her in the house.
