Tori wanted to run away. She didn't want to leave to a foreign academy. She didn't want to leave New York. Her home. Leon. Running through the streets she had decided to skip dance class. Sure her guards will be out to find her soon. But she had crawled out the bathroom window in the dance building and was running towards where she remembered Leon said his house was. Hoping she would find him there. Little did she know this was actually the Subways and he had wanted her to stay clear of them the first time due to over population of monsters.
The pretty blonde looked in a hurry. Always glancing to make sure her father's guards weren't around. She didn't want to leave. So she went to find Leon. If she must go. A good bye, even f it was forbidden to see him, was necessary. Slowing into a walk she reached the dark alley. The bright mid day sun casting long shadows along with parts which were brightly light. Hazel eyes scanning the place she wondered if she was lost.

Leon caught her scent just as he was taking a walk, his imperial gold sword hidden by the Mist at his side. He turned his head, scanning the various people roaming the streets. No, she couldn't be here. It was dangerous!
"I promise I won't see her anymore."
He had given his word, and the memory struck him hard, making him so very sick. He had the impulse to turn away briskly and leave before she turned the corner and spotted him. But he wanted to see her also...
"You're putting her in danger, you idiot!"
He knew that! Why wouldn't his legs move? Leon looked back, slightly frightened by the thought of some monster catching up to them or something. He swallowed hard, and shook his head, frozen in his position, unable to run, and unable to go to her.

Turning the corner her hazel eyes searched for lean. Automatically landing on his. Smiling she ran up to him giving him a tight hug "Your alive!" she breathed with relief. of course he was. Her father was cruel man. But he wouldn't have killed him... actually now that she thought about it... he probably would have... which made her even gladder her was there. Alive. And not hurt again like he was when they first meet.

Oh no. Her whole face lit up like a Christmas tree, and he knew that this was going to be the hardest challenge yet. She crashed into him before he could react, and he caught her with a wince. "Hey, hey, easy, that hurts, you know. Of course I'm alive." Leon gently shifted in her grasp so that his injured shoulder wasn't under her arm. It had been from Jackie's bullet the other night. His leg, too, was still slowly recuperating. He didn't pull out of the hug, though. He wanted to hold her for now while he still could.
"What are you doing here, Tori? It's dangerous. You're not supposed to be allowed outside." And I'm not supposed to be seeing you. He added silently in his mind, though he would tell her slowly. For now, he wanted to enjoy the moment.

Tori pulled back slightly to study him "Did you get injured again? Surely you don't get into that many fights?" she asked him with a smile. Being to glad about seeing him to be truly worried. Tori was in fact extremely glad he was alive. Considering one of his many injuries could be his last...
Blinking she tilted her head to the side unsure of how to take the responce. Was it a oh I don't want to see you? Or a hey, what are you doing here. "I had to say good bye...my dad is trying to send me to a boarding school," she said looking down with a frown.

"Um, yeah, some assassin your dad sent nicked me with their gun." Leon spoke up bluntly, realizing later that that wasn't the smartest thing to say. "Um- I mean- It's all good, though. No big deal. I got away, and..."
The son of the Nemean Lion sighed as she pulled away, rubbing the back of his neck. "Don't worry about me, Tori. I'm a monster. I regenerate after I'm killed. It takes about two weeks. I can't die, but you can. I'm telling you now that there are monsters hunting you." He took in a deep breath, and continued, his own reluctance clear in his eyes, "Silver Creek is a good school, and no monsters can enter. You're a powerful demigod. You...attract attention."

Tori frowned "My dad sent a assasin? When?" a anger started to rse towards her father. Send her away to school away from home and kill her only real friend? Who does that?
Tori shook her head "No. Dying is not ok. Even if your convinced you come back in two weeks," she told him with a frown. That school...he also wanted her to leave. feeling her face heat up in embarrassment for coming she tried not to frown. "Well I don't want to go to ths Silver Creek Academy, I don't care if they hunt me. Monsters hunt everybody. I prefer not having to leave my house," she told him trying not to sound mad even f it did slip through a bit.

(I'm going to sleep now!)
Oops, Mr. Sullivan would send another soon, he suspected, if Tori confronted him about this. "Um, please don't tell your father, or he'll send another. I also promised him I wouldn't see you either, so don't tell him about this either." He requested to the daughter of Aphrodite, his gray eyes staring into hers.
His expression softened, "What I'm saying, is that you don't have another chance. I do. It's better if I go than you, do you understand me? You have to go. It's safer there. I have had yet to meet a demigod alive in this city at the age of 16 that doesn't go to the Academy or Camp Half Blood. You need to, Tori. I don't want you to get hurt." And he especially didn't want her living his life, with danger at every corner.

Tori stared blankly at Leon anger arising and heating up her cheeks. So her father had made Leon promise not to see her? What was his problem with Leon? Leon didn't do anything wrong! "I wasn't planning on telling him anyways..." she muttered trying to mask her anger.
Tori shook her head "No. I don't want to leave. I don't care. Life is short anyways!" she protested. She didn't want to go. She didn't want to leave Leon. It wasn't fair. She finally gets a friend and she has to leave him? That was not ok. She couldn't leave Leon. The thought made her both sad and angry. She had to stay. With him. And she didn't want to leave.
And she had secretly hoped that when she came he would say the same. She had hoped that when she said good bye he would have asked her to stay. And she would've. That's all she wanted. Him to ask her to stay. ut maybe he wanted her gone? Maybe he did infact grow wary of trying to protect her from these dangers she never meet before.

"Tori!" Leon grabbed her by the shoulders, gray eyes clouded with worry. "Please don't misunderstand! I can't keep this up forever, and neither can your guards. You'll make friends there, and learn what it takes to be a demigod. You will eventually be able to protect yourself, and you won't...have to count on me."
He didn't want her having the wrong idea that he was tired of protecting her, now. He would do whatever it took to keep her out of harm's way. This harm coming was his fault in the first place, and he was going to take full responsibility for it. "I'll...find a way to visit you. Maybe outside of the Academy boundary, I'll be able to meet you."

Tori frowned "What if they don't let me out? I doubt they'll let me see you ever again Leon!" she protested. And it made sense. If she was brought to the Academy to be protected from monsters and to be trained to learn how to survive and fight monsters. They wouldn't let her just go out and see one. It woudn't be permitted. And thats what pained her the most. Never being able to see Leon again. Wether it was friendship or something else Tori didn't know. But she didn know that now that she finally meet Leon, and got to know him. She just wanted to continue meeting him. Continue seeing him. Though she would like to take away the whole him getting hurt every time part. But she liked the rest.

"I doubt it," Leon replied, glancing around, "Camp Half Blood allows their campers to go to the boundary at their own risk. It should be the same their. The boundary should be the same. I'm half mortal, s it should be a little easier for me. You just have to meet me once." He smiled, giving her a mischievous expression. "Give me permission to enter, and then I can slip in and out to visit you, doesn't that work?"
Leon saw her expression of longing, to stay. In fact, he wanted to tell her to stay, but what could he do? "Tori, it's for your safety. Just go. What do you think I would feel if a monster managed to get you?" He would blame the whole world's problems on himself, that was what would happen.

Tori frowned "Camp Half-Blood? Where is that?" she asked him confused. She had never heard of such a place... "You are aware this Academy is in Virginia right?" she asked him. He surely wouldn't travel so far to see her. Sure she would do that for him... but Tori wasn't anything but a dimwitted, pretty face who somehow seems to get a lion wounded everytime she sees him without laying a finger on his head.

(Just...making stuff up here to make it work. That way they can see each other enough.)
"Um...around here. Very close, actually. I know where Silver Creek is." Leon's expression softened visibly for a moment before the sly playfulness returned. "You do remember that I'm not a normal human, right? I'm a monsters. we have a...method of traveling quickly through the shadows. I call it our little secret network." He gave her a wink, and put a finger to his lips to indicate secrecy.

Tori sighed "But when will I see you? What if I don't like it?" she said still feeling reluctant "What if the people there are mean? What if..." she didn't know what she feared exactly yet. She didn't want to leave. She wanted to stay. If this school was training her to kill Leon or creatures like him she didn't want to. She didn't want to kill him. Or train to kill him. The thought was horrible.
