Kim wandered around the Subway, her intimidating presence turning heads and sending monsters shrinking back or running away. She smiled evilly; this was exactly the way it was supposed to be. Everyone was to fear her, for she was the most powerful of them all, and frankly, she used her abilities for evil. There was only one known monster from the Subways that she knew of who wasn't afraid of her. The mere thought of that disgusting buffoon made her glare at everyone around her, furious of the bad memories a fool had given her. Angry, Kim whirled around to face a random monster and snarled in its face. Terrified, it was sent scrambling backward, trying to go anywhere except for near her. Sneering, she felt satisfied, her anger slightly fading away. That was how she wanted it to be. It was better this way.
Smirking, she strolled alongside some other monsters, turning to face them with her signature glare. They immediately shrunk back into the shadows. She did this multiple times, until she finally calmed down and felt rather joyous, in a completely terrible way. Schadenfreude was her way of comfort, even if she hated to admit it. It wasn't like she had anyone to confess her comforts to anyway, so her secrets were safe with herself. Feeling disgustingly soft, she brushed it off and simply focused on frightening the small punks that stood in her way. Back into her bad mood, she kicked rocks at puny and pitifully weak monsters, sending them screeching and racing in random directions. She knew there was one particularly irritating monster that could bring her bad mood to its climax, and she'd rather not see him. Right as she thought that, a disgustingly familiar scent wafted into her nose. Him, she snarled.

Leon would have rather not come face to face with her. She had been sending all sorts of monsters and allies after him and Tori, and he was skilled enough to fend them all off. He wasn't afraid of Kim. He had managed to kill her once, but he had ended up almost dying himself. He had gotten lucky, bested her with a clever trick of his. He was decently strong, and placed high in the ranks of strength in the residents of the subway. Though others had abilities, he was experienced and quick to think. He still knew his limits, however, and he was wary of the chimera's rage. She was stronger than him.
He caught her scent just as he was heading back, and he knew that an encounter was unavoidable. He would rather not stall the inevitable anyway. He was the kind that liked to get things over with. He moved to the side where the monsters had cleared out. They were completely alone, and he knew that it wasn't a good thing. "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Look at them run." Leon chuckled, leaning against a corner of the room. He had placed the palm of his hand on his sword hilt, making sure that she wasn't going to spontaneously attack him. "Grumpy much?"

Kim was nearly about to explode inside, but she shoved it down her throat and tried to smile as pleasantly as she could. The smile sent even more monsters running in all directions, like all of the Underworld was let loose on them. "Well, hello. Just who I didn't want to see." She stated it plainly and briefly, as she was not looking forward to meeting one of her most hated acquaintances. He had taken a life of hers, and inside, she knew it was a fluke. However, the sneaky trickster would have no more of such luck. She was determined to end him, a fiery blaze of hatred visible in her eye. Now, it wasn't that she didn't hate anyone except for him; she hated everyone, but he was just a major abhorrence in her life that shook her focus. Just a mere glance at him made her want to claw his face off, but she knew she couldn't do that. How brutal. Of course just tearing him apart with such intensity would be too quick of a death; she wanted him to suffer like how she did losing her first life. She wanted him to feel pain, but not such pain that it'd be an instant death. She wanted him to come back crawling to her, practically begging for her to kill him. Then she'd do as requested. First, she had to rip away the ones close to his heart. He didn't do that to her, because she had no one like that. However, she loved seeing people suffer more than anything in the world. It simply pleased her. Then, after that, watching him plummet into a deep pit of despair, she'd finish him off. In her head, it sounded like a great plan...but first she had to get rid of those who he loved.

"Aw, come on, you bitter witch," Leon almost laughed, taking his hand off of the hilt of his sword and stretching both arms out, "Do you need a hug or something?" He was just teasing her right now. It wasn't like he was looking for a fight, but he was showing the other monsters that he was strong, and that he could stand up to her. But once all the monsters had fled, sensing an atmosphere so tense that it was choking, the son of the Nemean Lion returned to his earlier position against the wall and fingered his sword.
"My dear, you've sent quite a lot of your friends after me. Every single one of them mentioned you. You're getting popular." He had a tone of nonchalance, but you could tell that he wasn't fond of her either. His voice was clearly venomous. She was aiming for Tori just to toy with him, and he was feeling helpless. It was because of him that she was in danger.

"Don't touch me with your filthy hands," said Kim, stepping closer. "I don't want to become weak like you." Rage bubbled inside, but she kept calm the best she could. She felt the bubbling grow, becoming stronger. "So...shall we...play?" Kim charged at him, her rapid speed bringing the strong roundhouse kick straight for his face. "You're not going to look so pretty after this, are you, doll face?" Sneering, she sped the kick up slightly, just testing if he could follow up.
She knew inside she was stronger than him, but her pride told her otherwise. Destroyed, her pride told her that the only thing on her mind was to kill him. But a voice inside told her to savor his pain, and that bit by bit, he'd break.

Leon felt a pang inside of him as she approached. He frowned at her words, but he knew that he had hit a soft spot with his love for Tori. And he knew that Kim knew that he was weak there. He had dreaded this moment, but he was going to push through. Here came her direct approach, as always. He already knew what was coming next. "You know, I would have rather avoide-"
He moved away just as she moved her leg. There was a quick flash and he stumbled backwards out of the way. He felt the slight wind from the miss. "Doll face?" he asked with a smirk, "You think I'm pretty? Thanks!" He moved to the side, keeping his hand on the hilt of his sword. He moved to her side, waiting for a gap in time to strike back and pull out his sword. His features changed slightly sharper as his senses heightened into that of a lion. he could react and keep with her speed that way.

"You think that sword can cut me?" Kim pulled back her hair, so that it was out of her face. She knew if she tied it back, it'd be over for the guy-if she could use all of her vision, he'd be a goner. But she didn't want the match to end that fast. Perhaps she was just...too confident she was better than him.
She sent him a spinning kick with the momentum of her own body weight, which although wasn't much, made the kick pretty deadly. In the middle of her kick, she pulled out two daggers and flung them at him. Better safe than sorry. He has my speed, but I can get faster. She thought of all the moments she'd trained her speed to be enhanced, so that she was so fast her enhanced senses made it so that if they cooperated with her speed, she emerged from battle with not a single scratch.

He knew her tactics and battle styles well enough. He had been busy analyzing her fighting skills in the shadows while she settled her differences with other monsters. Being the temperamental Kim she was, she had quite a lot of differences to settle. He had seen her in action more than once, and firsthand a few times, even. He knew of her speed, and he was sure he could at least keep up to get out of this alive.
He knew that the daggers were no joke, and that they were poisonous. Sometimes deadly. He ducked her kick, the dagger whizzing over his head as well. Now that there was time, his sword was drawn and he sent the golden blade flashing towards her side. "I do, actually."

Kim had no choice but to pivot against the subway tunnel's wall, pushing off of it and flipping over Leon. He'd drawn his sword, and she knew the battle from there on out could end lives. Unsheathing two more daggers, she gripped them tightly, spinning in a 360 of fury, knowing that if she couldn't hit him with those, it would be back to long distance throwing. After all, she seemed to have an infinite supply of those daggers. And, a dose of their poison at a certain amount was fatal to even a monster.
She knew Leon knew her moves, so she changed her rhythm a bit, hoping to surprise him by fighting unlike her usual self.

Leon was pretty positive that she hadn't suddenly decided to use her paralysis poison or anything new like that that she could suddenly conjure up. she was aiming for a kill. He moved forward, knowing that the offensive was better than defensive if the opponent was stronger.
He caught the two daggers with a swipe of his arm, sending the blades spinning away with a metallic cling. He noticed a deviation in her movements. Kim was smart and he would have to give her credit. Experience was everything. Leon had lived longer, but had been in less serious one-on-one fights. He was more of the silent killing types. He swung out his sword once more after a quick feint. The air flashed with a golden brilliance, his attack changing from her head to her leg in a weaving motion.

Kim bent her leg, and with her flexible body, she did an air tumble with her knees tucking in her shin area. You dang old man, she wanted to say. Fight me like a man. But she didn't spit out much trash talk in the midst of trying to end someone. She landed onto the ground in a crouch, hissing softly. Her eyes narrowed as she scanned him for an opening. The trickster could have a ton of cowardly tactics under his sleeve.
Then again, he was known for instantly silencing someone. The sword nearly nicked her; if she hadn't been able to bend her knees, the bottom half of her leg would probably be lying on the ground.

He put a good amount of distance between them, understanding the hatred in her eyes. This fight wasn't going to end with the two of them alive. He didn't have a choice. Maybe if he killed her now, she wouldn't regenerate in time for Tori's move. She would be safe. There was something about Kim in her mortal form that now irked him, however. He was distracted at the moment, fighting unbalanced. Had he grown rusty or something?
He stood there, watching her, a slight tremor along his arms. He knew that she would come back. She would find a way to torture him or Tori. She was clever. There was no way out of this. Further humiliating Kim with a possible win wouldn't do him any good. He was afraid for Tori. He was afraid for once. He was afraid to cast aside his pride and ask her to leave the daughter of Aphrodite alone.

Seeing how Leon's heart wasn't in the fight, Kim rolled her eyes. Swiftly changing her position and at the same time throwing two daggers at Leon, she yawned a tad. One dagger was aimed for his left shoulder, another a foot to the right of his right. One more could come from the front, aiming for his gut. She didn't want to KILL him...not...yet. However, she wanted to know what was troubling him to much. It wasn't that she cared. In fact, she didn't care about him at all. He was the only person she'd ever lost to in battle, and it was especially shameful that she lost a life to him. Growling at the memory, she flung the last dagger a millisecond too late. Would that prove to be fatal for Leon or for herself? Kim couldn't waste time bothering with worrying. She had to find out what was troubling him. She just had to. And when she did, she would do anything to trouble him more.

Fighting long range was hard when you were a close ranged fighter. It was ore especially so now that he was both on the defensive and distracted. He flinched at the sight of the daggers, springing out of the way. They hit the wall where he was standing before. There were more coming. He swept aside the one to his right with his sword. The last weapon zipped through the air, but his timing was off on it. He hadn't expected a lag in its travel.
He managed to deflect it from its path with an arm, but it continued on a trajectory, ripping through his sleeve and grazing his arm. Oh, shoot. Leon quickly slid to a stop, knowing that the chances of victory had just disappeared. He could already feel pain pulsing from the cut, and it was slowly beginning to spread.

Kim couldn't help herself. She let out a chuckle and sneered. Taking her time while walking toward her victim, she smiled as angelically as she could. "Not so cocky now, are we?" She stood in front of him, just waiting for him to fall. Knowing that he knew that if he moved the poison would spread more freely, she roundhouse kicked him in the face, hoping he'd fall to the floor. If he fell, the poison would hurt way more, because the flow would be spreading faster than the slow pain he deserved to suffer through.
"So, what's troubling you?" She said, rather sweetly. Of course, she was two-faced. She'd just never shown Leon her second side before. Even if it was a facade, there was a highly probable chance that he'd be surprised. "You think I wouldn't notice? You stood there like a fool for a good ten seconds."
