Leon shifted as she approached, moving backwards until his back was against the wall. He had nowhere to go. The more steps he took, the more energy was drained out of him. He didn't reply, only returned her smile with a defiant one of his own. In the blink of an eye, a kick flashed across his vision. He had lost the reflexes to react.
There was a red burst of stars across his vision, and then he hit the ground. The agony pulsed across his shoulder and he started to gasp, attempting to roll over and get back up. His limbs were burning with liquid fire. "Nothing...I'm fine. You were just...too ugly to look at." Even speaking hurt. This was the first time he had tasted such a intoxicating venom. And this was the worst. He could feel it growing steadily stronger, spreading across the rest of his body. He could maybe survive the poison because it was a tiny dose, but he was vulnerable to Kim right now.

About to kick him again, Kim looked down upon him, a maniacal smile playing on her lips. Pulling back her leg, she decided kicking him could knock him out, making him miss out on the suffering. The dose of poison he took wasn't lethal, however, if he kept sassing her, she'd make sure it was lethal. Instead of trying to end him immediately, she crouched next to him. "Aw, you probably haven't looked in the mirror lately, have you? Then you wouldn't call anyone ugly except yourself. Poor baby, probably can't afford it." She patted his shoulder, knowing that physical contact with him would make it burn even more. "So, I'll ask you again. What's troubling you?" This time, it wasn't a question. It was a demand. And she was going to make sure he understood that.

He was defenseless. He couldn't even stand back up on his feet now. Trying to move was futile struggle, and it was only making the poison move faster. It flowed through his blood swiftly, causing him pain on its rampant path throughout his body. "Heh, I have a mirror, Kim.... Have you ever heard of the saying "Looks could kill"? Well...it takes a whole new meaning...when it comes to you."
She wasn't striking him just yet. She was just toying with him, taking advantage of the situation. At the contact, he gritted his teeth, feeling a bead of freezing sweat roll down his cheek. He wasn't going to cry out and give her the satisfaction. He was silent, not giving her an answer. He was stubborn. Maybe if he let her do all the torturing she wanted, she would consider herself even with him, and she would forget about Tori.

"Awh, that means I'm special. Why, thank you. You're special, too. You're the only one I've wanted to destroy this badly. I can't wait to see you break." She said it in a light and cheerful tone, smiling happily, which made it all worse for those who didn't know her. Kim loved the situation, especially how he was completely defenseless, and trying so hard to show no sign of suffering. But she knew she was suffering. Smiling again, she patted him on the shoulder, but this time way harder. Enough to spread the poison a little faster, but not fast enough so it'd kill him. "So, are you just worrying about that demigod again? You have the same expression on your face every time you think of her; do you not realize that?" She raised her eyebrows. "You've become weaker from our last fight. What's the matter with you?" Kim didn't wait for an answer. She thwacked him on the back, chuckling to herself. "In that case, I should probably go after her and not you. What do you think of that?" Turning to face him, she saw a bead of perspiration trickling down his face. "Aw, poor you. Can you even muster the ability of speech right now?"

"You stupid..." Leon withstood the taps to his shoulder barely, and he had to close his pained gray eyes with full concentration to do it. His breathing was a little labored now, and he was losing the ability to move at all.
At the mention of Tori, his blood went icy. He was terrified now as she continued on with what he was most afraid of, and his eyes were now half open, but blurry in terms of vision. Shoot! Did he make it that obvious? He didn't reply, but his expression said it all. He was worried. He didn't even care that she had thought he was weaker, which was an insult to his overly large pride. He cast it aside quickly though, for the safety of the daughter of Aphrodite.
He wasn't prepared for her whacking him on the back, and this time, he cried out as pain coursed through his entire being. He gasped, trying to think of a witty comeback or something, but his brain was muddled, and it only knew numbness. It was consumed by it. He had no choice but to plead, do something. "I can speak fine!" He growled, voice consumed by loathing, "You can't...can't do that. Do what you want with me...anything, anytime...She has nothing to do with you!"

Kim chuckled once more, but this time, rather loudly. She loved how he dropped his pride for a foolish demigod, and she simply adored his cry of pain. "Oh, but you're wrong." She leaned down so that he could look her in the eye. "Whatever related to you...is related to me in some way or another. See, I want to destroy everything you hold dear, and that demigod has got to go. You already look pretty weak down here because you...have taken a liking into a...demigod." She sat back up. "And have you forgotten the reason why I want to crush you this badly?"
Gritting her teeth for a brief moment at the memory, she continued: "You and your cowardly tricks won't save you this time. In case if it isn't already obvious...well. I hate you." Kim enjoyed his reaction to her mentioning the demigod. He was in no condition to tell her what to do, and didn't he know anything about reverse psychology. She sighed inwardly. He was no longer fun, especially today. His witty comments were kept to himself, for the pain was probably at this rate, unbearable. It was no fun if he couldn't add fuel to the fire. However, she knew just how to get to him. All the monsters she'd sent after the demigod had come back empty handed or a few weeks later, after dying. She knew she had to kill the demigod by herself, with her own hands. Standing up, she started to walk off, before turning her torso and giving Leon a small, provocative wave. "Bye bye, Leon."

Her laugh was infuriating, and there was nothing he could do to make her listen to him. Hared consumed his vision for the moment, and he found the strength to move a little. His muscles creaked and groaned, refusing to move. He huffed, drawing in a deep breath despite his constricted lungs. He managed to grasp the hilt of his sword. With one final act of defiance and anger, he flung it at her turned back. "Get back here, you nasty little worm! We're not done yet!"
his arm dropped back to the ground, and the minor movement nearly made him black out. Leon forced himself to stay conscious. "Obviously you're too idiotic to finish your business with me....Instead, you have to lower your level and go out of...your way to kill...a demigod?"

Kim side-stepped the sword with ease. "What a weak throw. Who taught you that one? Your lady friend? I admit, she IS rather weak." She picked up his sword and flung it away. "My, my, you're so brave. Amuse me." Kim made her way closer, leaning forward a tad so she could look him in the eye. "It's alright; you can sleep."
"Why, of course I have to go kill this demigod, even if she's not worth my time." Kim smiled. "It's because I hate you." She stated it bluntly, in such a peaceful manner that she seemed even more vicious. "Oh, I get it. You want to watch, huh?"
She prodded him gently with her finger, though surely it wasn't gentle, even if she tried. "But I can't move you. You'll die, and I can't let you die so quickly." Kim spoke her mind for once, always keeping the hatred inside. She could tell that he didn't have much longer until he was unconscious, so she decided she could wait. After all, he was trying his hardest to provoke her, though his attempts were rather lame, and she knew the poison wasn't going to kill him. It'd just injure him internally, but he healed rather quickly. She had to wait until he was knocked out to go after the girl.

His heart sank as she moved away, knowing that he had failed to protect Tori. Only his clever tongue could keep Kim in this. He had to stall her. Maybe someone would pop in with backup. That didn't seem so possible. "I'm not sleeping!" He was getting frustrated, trying to think of anything to shoot back at her. "She will have guards. If you are successful, her father will come after you...He cares for her more than I...And he will hire enough demigods to wipe out...your home..." His tone was foreboding, but it was completely true as well.
He shifted, struggling to move. He didn't care that the poison was working on his body. He didn't care about the pain. "I'm not going to go unconscious...You can...do whatever you want to me right now...You can...repeat this all again...if I die...You can kill me...as many times as...you want." He was growing desperate, and this was all he had.

"I have no home." The words were true; although she created the Subway and was there often, it wasn't her home. She wasn't welcome in her home, though she drove her way through with fear. Kim bit her lip, wondering what to do. Should she kill him, or should she kill what was dear to him? It definitely seemed better to kill the demigod, for she couldn't come back, and Leon could. If she killed the demigod, he'd probably come after her, angered. But if she killed him, he'd probably do the same, but less angry. However, it could be just her way of thinking clouding her judgment. Perhaps Leon didn't think that way at all. She knew he could be right. If she killed him now, then they could get into the same situation, and she could watch his pleading face as she threatened him with the thought of killing the demigod. Even so, she would stay by him until he lost consciousness, or so she'd decided. Her resolve wasn't that much, though, and she still really wanted to kill the girl. But at the same time, she wanted him to watch, so he'd be in even more pain. Either way, she saw that she won, and he lost.

He didn't reply. It wasn't a surprise that she said what she did. It was true. Those who were strong were feared, and usually stood alone. Maybe he had grown soft from liking a demigod. Either way, there was a slight ounce of pity that entered his eyes. Maybe he had a chance of working something out. "Listen, Kim, don't start dragging...more people than necessary into this. You will be hunted...for killing her...There will be...casualties." He had forced himself to sit up now, his back against the wall. He was stuck in this position, his body turning completely stiff and numb.
His eyes were a slight bit pleading, but lit with a determined fire. He wasn't going to sleep just yet. Heck, he could probably last longer than anyone she had seen. "If you leave her alone...I'll let you kill me...in whatever way...you want...no matter how many times." It was an offer that would mean repetitive suicide for him, but Tori could be safe. It was a good bargain for Kim, and he would dread it if she didn't turn it down, but even more so if she did.

She admittedly was surprised by his ability to move after being poisoned for so long. "Well, I don't think you're exactly in any position to bargain." Her eyes were cold, for she saw pity in his. How dare he pity her? "You think I can't take care of myself?" She'd hunt her hunters, just like she always did. "And I don't think you realize your situation. If you're already in a position like this, who knows how many times I can kill you without your stupid little conditions? Does that girl really matter to you that much?" She saw the look in his eyes change, and she narrowed her eyes in response. "You think I can't defeat you without your petty attempt at creating an escape for the girl?" Kim glared at him, rather ticked off that he still had defiance in his eyes after being weakened so much. Just how much determination could he have? It was annoying, and pitiful, for she knew that he'd become more naive because of that girl. She'll be the death of him, she thought. Literally.

"Who says I can't? You're not going to take up the offer of getting to torture me to death anytime you want to?" He narrowed his eyes, digging his glare right into her eyes unflinchingly. Despite being the one who was at her mercy, he was oddly acting like he had control. Obviously he didn't think he was out of this yet. His expression told of a stubborn drive forward.
"You can't run alone forever, Kim." He didn't answer her question about how much Tori meant to him. She meant more than anything to him that he could think of. If he told her that, she might go ahead with her plan. "And who knows, maybe I could get...lucky again." He emphasized lucky in his sentence. You could see that he was fighting the poison as hard as he could. It was working through his system, burning at his core. Sweat began to bead at his forehead from the effort. He had at least managed to fill the gaps in his speech, but the tremor still remained in his voice and his body.

"I can torture you whenever I want? Well, that's a surprise! I can do that without your bargain." She glared at him, assuming he was underestimating her. He glared right back, which ticked her off even more. A part of her wanted to smash her foot in his face, but she didn't want him to die yet.
"I can run alone. I'm stronger than you." She felt herself drowning in coldness, a small part of her wanting to cry out. The better side of her-however, the sadistic side was stronger, and it shoved the rest back. "You'll never have that much luck anymore. In fact, your luck has nearly run out." Her softer side was seeping through, and she was disgusted with herself. She couldn't even bring herself to finish him off, but she wanted to believe it was because she wanted him to suffer.
"Oh, don't be a weakling. That much poison won't kill you." She put emphasis on 'kill', just to make sure he knew she was mocking his annoyingly stubborn self.

"Huh, I wonder about that. I wonder if you can do that anyway without my cooperation, sister. Can you really be that cruel without ever having family except for me?" He leaned forward just a slight bit, ignoring his body screaming with pain. "You say you're stronger than me, but you seem so mentally unstable. You have temper problems. Try getting them fixed. Last time I remember, a stable mind is better than, well, whatever you have."
He was picking at her, hoping she would pick up the provocations. Leon knew that if she got angry, it was time he was getting in exchange. He did feel like he was having bad luck for a long time, though. So he was going to have to do without it. "I don't need luck. That's for having mercy about the poison." his voice was bitter with sarcasm, his eyes growing still more defiant.
