Tori smiled "I suppose that would help..." she told him quite honestly as she got up and looked at her watch not really looking at the time but deciding she should probably pick up or order some take out. Since her cooking skills weren't the best either. "But first. We need to find some food, which means your kitty cat nose may come in handy," she told him with a laugh.

Leon raised his eyebrows expectantly. "I'm telling you, a Hecate kid would not be part cat." He couldn't help but be a bit amused at her words, however, when he would usually be kind of annoyed. "What do you want anyway? I know this area well, and you, well...You obviously don't." He tried not to laugh saying his words.

Tori smiled "Honestly...I don't know...I suppose anything would do good," she said quite honestly. Her hazel eyes watching Leon with amusement. She enjoyed having a friend, it was actually going very well. And she couldn't help but feel excited.

Leon returned her smile, looking down at her as he stood with a stretch. "Fine then, um..." He pulled out his little mental map of the area. He stole money from demigods and mortals all the time. It wasn't like he had a job. This would be a way to return money, he guessed. "It'll be on me. You wanna to-go or something? There are plenty of those. McDonalds are everywhere, though I don't like it there." Partly because the greasy smell just unnerved him. "Ah, I know! Pei Wei, I guess. I'm in the mood for Chinese. There's nowhere else."

Tori grinned "All cool. I'm not a huge fan of McDonalds either. It makes me feel like I need to go run a marathon." she said honestly. The end making her blush slightly. She just admitted to being severly self-convious. Which wasn't something she did. Then again going to eat with a stranger wasn't something she did either...

"Well, then it's decided. This way! I hope you know the way home from there." Leon added the last art as a joke. He turned back to see if she was following. He was surprised at her blushing, but he didn't show it. He turned back away to hide his smile. Girls these days were self-conscious, but shy about it. Really, monster were self conscious about their appearances as well, so there was nothing to be ashamed of.

Tori laughed "I doubt I will. But I'm sure I'd eventually find my way back," she told him walking beside him. Her hazel eyes turning away from him only to look ahead of her.

Leon shook his head, "I still kind of don't understand. If you're being protected, you'd think they would stick a GPS on you at least to keep you from getting lost, yes?" He was still kind of teasing her as the walked up to the restaurant. He opened the door for her, bowing jokingly. "Ladies first!"

Tori laughed walking in "Well they don't want to stalk me since I definently would protest to that." she told him honestly as she stood inside the restaurant and waited for him to go ahead do she could follow. Since this was a foreign place.

Leon frowned pretending to be dissapointed. "Well, they could have provided a GPS for you, not for them." He walked in, leading the way to a seat. It wasnt like it was a fancy place. Just a quick Chinese fast food kind of thing. He pulled out the chair for her before sliding into a seat of his own. He was raised with manners, even if he was a monster. He passed a menu over to Tori as the waiter brought the water before scurrying away hurriedly.

Tori smiled when he pulled out the chair for you. “Thank you,” she said like a song. It was something her father used to do when she was a child…and well, it caught on. Sitting down and scooting forward she watched as the man handed her a menu before scurrying away. Her hazel eyes trailing behind him as if expecting him to hop into a cab and go on a speed chase after some random terrorist, since he did seem in a great hurry. Then again he was probably preparing for dinner, when most people flooded in without stop. Looking down at the menu she stared at the strange names. Racking her brain for something that sounded familiar. Usually her father did the ordering food, since he usually picked something that was well balanced, and she wasn’t extremely picky. In fact she loved trying new things, but she wasn’t one do go out and do so without a little push. After deciding she in fact had no clue what anything was she set the menu down and looked up at Leon. As if waiting for him to do something, since she would be fine with getting whatever he got, as long as it wasn’t cat food… Sure cat food was rather…exotic. But she had tasted it before and frantically, it made her feel like she was eating in a homeless shelter. Hazel eyes watching him she studied the way he acted. Having never been around someone who wasn’t…hired or…high class…she wasn’t snobby, but she was sheltered. Guarded some would say. She didn’t say much for a while as she noted what he was doing for future reference, since she when she finally didn’t live in such a sheltered environment, she would be able to act…normal….

Leon, truthfully, hadn't had mortal food in a very long time. He was staring at the menu, trying to remember the last time he ate here. It was probably when the restaurant first opened. That fact alone made him a bit confused already. He was busy trying to eliminate the dishes he didn't recognize when he noticed Tori was staring at him. Done already? She clearly hadn't been here before, and she already knew what she wanted? That was way to fast.
"Is something wrong?" Leon asked, looking up from the menu for the first time, pretending to just notice her gaze. He had pretty much pinpointed what he wanted. He kept number 15 in his head. The boiled spicy fish rice. He had always liked fish, and no, it wasn't because he was part cat. A lion usually didn't have fish on its menu. It was just the fact that it helped with his brainpower. He always liked to keep his thoughts clear.

(ohh dear god...I've been paranoid with the number fifteen all week...)
Leon was staring at his menu before looking up. His eyes a nice grey, taking note of how nice they looked, but then she noticed he had noticed her staring. When he asked if something was wrong she blushed. Great so he had noticed her watching him. Her hazel eyes looking down at the menu from embarrassment "Um...no. Not really..." but rather than saying Oh I'm studying your behaviors she went with her earlier problem "I just really don't know anything on here..." she told him honestly holding up the menu with a sheepish smile.
Her cheeks turning even redder. She could feel the blood rush up and looking behind Leon at her own reflection. Sure it was a bit obnoxious since she did tend to look at her reflection quite frequently. But she wanted to make sure she wasn't tomato red. And to her embarrassment she was quite close... Pretty much drinking all the water she tried to focus on something else. The color slowly draining from her face as she stated at the table rather than at Leon.

Leon blinked expectantly at the girl as she hesitated. Truthfully, she seemed so embarrassed and nervous for some reason. It wasn't like he understood how a rich person normally acted, but if this was it, it was kind of cute. So shy and reserved. He quickly turned away, waving at a waiter to order so he wouldn't seem like he was staring at Tori.
Leon looked back just in time to see that the daughter of Aphrodite had turned red. A slow smile spread over his face. For a long time, his smiles were always teasing and halfhearted. They were just used to cover up what he honestly felt inside. It had been a long time since he had smiled genuinely, and it surprised him that he did now. "Well, that's fine. You can pretty much have everything, their rice is good."
Now that the waiter had arrived, he placed his order. Leon looked over at Tori, wondering if the waiter was going to have to suggest some stuff for her.

Tori smiled. Unsure of what he meant by the rice was good, since it seemed like they had five different types of rice and a random thing to go with it. Staring down at the menu now she searched for something…her luck being no better than before she just looked up at the waiter with a bright smile “Excuse me, would you mind suggesting something?” she asked the waiter hoping it wasn’t some abstract plate.
She then turned back to look at Leon, as if awaiting him to say something.
