Like any other day in the Underworld, or so to Shade's meddled memory it was, he was dozing off lazily on the couch. He had thrown his black leather jacket unceremoniously on the floor. He was awakened when the hiss of the fury Alecto attacked his ears. "Again! Hang your jacket, young master, don't throw it!" Shade rubbed his ringed eyes, throwing a dark gray and hazel glare at the monster. He sat up slowly, trying to remember what he had last done. His mind had been wiped and replaced with false memories by his father. He remembered only a few things. He had been minding his own business, running errands for his father. He had been attacked by questers more than once. He had been permanently scarred. His father had healed him, and he knew the questers had to be killed. Especially the daughter of Persephone. And Terry, who had given him the scar in the first place. Matt, who was helping him, would also deserve no mercy. Shade snatched his jacket away from Alecto, who hissed at him. He trudged out, calling out to his personal servant subordinate. "Let's get going, Dark." The shade slipped out of the shadows, one with the shadows. As his subordinate, the monster had to be strong. And he was. He was almost more capable than a demigod. He had a sheathed sword at his side. The shade looked like an older teen. Tall and lithe, he seemed to slip through shadows quicker than water. His eyes were a blazing red and his teeth were viciously sharp. ""Where to, Master?" Shade turned to reply, "Out. We will cause chaos on the origin of those wretched questers. We will wreck havoc upon their camp as revenge for messing with me." He stuck his arm gingerly through his leather jacket sleeve. "Let's go." "Yes, sir." The shade let loose a cheeked grin with sharp, polished white teeth. He touched the son of Hade's shoulder. It was soft, as light as a feather. His currently human fingers brushing against the black jacket. It was enough for shadow-travel. They melted into the darkness. .......... Shade peered through the trees of the forest. Through Thalia's boundary they had teleported. He whispered out in a foreign language. Now that he had regained his memory of the past, he had regained full power as Hades' right hand boy. He had been taught much, and was capable. Like a pool of dark, murky water, a shadow so read out around him. He continued whispering, his voice like mesmerizing honey. A slight rumble escaped from the forest. Shade stepped out into the clearing of the camp, sweeping his dark and burning gaze across the field. He raised his arms, the the rumble turned into a bursting roar. It grew, audible and shaking. The teeth jarring earthquake saw its origin. The monster from the forest had gave in to Shade's words. They burst into the clearing at full force, barreling into any campers who had come out to see what the commotion was. Shade stepped forward, seeing one demigod. The girl looked at him with bewilderment. Her voice was filled with utter astonishment. "Shade?! You're supposed to be on a quest. What happened to the othe-" She didn't get to finish. Dark had unsheathed his sword and stabbed it through her, instantly ending the girl. Shade eyed the corpse with somewhat satisfaction. "I don't know you. Don't speak to me." Shade held out a hand, a black flame lighting on his finger. They danced like a crazed demon among the tips of his fingers. He pressed it to the nearest cabin, the minor gods'. The paint peeled, going up in black flames.

Tina had heard a rumbling. As a child, she was easily curious. She opened the door, tentatively peeking out. Was in an earthquake? She stepped out from behind the door. She walked out into the clearing, spotting a dark haired kid standing there. Behind him was a taller boy, but he wasn't a boy. Her senses tingled looking at both of them. They were terrifying in power. She could feel it. She was wondering who they were when a crowd of monsters burst into the din. Tina's blue eyes widened in fear, and she took a step back. That boy was lighting fire to one of the cabins. It was a black fire. They weren't natural. They were monsters! What was going on? Wasn't there a magic barrier? Tina let loose a terrified scream as one hellhound tackled her to the ground. She shrieked as it snarled down at her, trying to pin the writhing tiny girl to the ground.

Renate didn't know Shade and frantically wasn't afraid to challenge him her swift motion quick as she leaped out of her cabin three daggers sent straight at his head as she unsheated a random light sword "And who are you?" she asked him as she approached her siblings taking on some monsters. She was afraid. Infact Renate loved a challenge, and this not seemed strong enough to pose one.

Silene had appeared as quick as anyone else would in danger. The cabin. The cabin was on fire. The cabin that she had taken the time to paint a beautiful white... She sent ice crystals into the flames, turning to water that set out the flames into smoke. In anger she turned to see Shade. "You!" She remembered in shock. The kid she had played capture the flag with. The son of Hades. Wasn't he on a quest? What had happened to the other questers? Why was he attacking them? What was going on? "Where are the others?" She shouted, whipping out ice daggers and sending them at the boy. At the same time, an Ares camper had attacked him. She charged forward with Renate. "Hope you don't mind me joining in, but he has some questions I need answering." She said with a wry smile.

Renate grinned "Don't mind if you do, I'm Renate by the way." she grinned and in a quick motion sent another one of her many daggers at a hell hound the speed quick and her aim about an inch than intended but who can be perfect? She hit the beast in the neck which was as good as the back. Maybe that could help the girl. Her sword ready to face Shade with the stranger.

Shade blinked at the sight of dagger flying his way. Some normal, one or two ice. The ice ones struck him as familiar. He ignored the thought. Dark, as predictable as ever, blocked them with his sword. The monster hissed, red eyes flaring a ruby red. He leapt forward, intercepting Renate in her charge. He slashed at her, his blood red sword glinting. He had cut down a few demigods already. But he had been inclined to stay by his master's side.
Shade turned his focus on Silene. She did seem to tweak his memory a bit, but he couldn't remember where she was from. Only strong people ever fought with him. So remembering her weapons meant they had fought. He was not to underestimate. He shot a column of black flame straight at the girl just by raising a hand and pointing a finger in the girl's direction.

The hellhound above her let loos a painful howl. The wounded beast whimpered and rolled off of Tina. The tiny demigod stood, shivering in unspeakable fear. What was going on? There was a lot of fighting. She wanted to hide. But her sword was feeling awfully heavy in its hilt. She should fight, but no one would blame the little girl from running...right?
Silene blinked in surprise at the sudden fire. He was strong! He immediately hit the ground, the air above her shimmered with a painfully searing flame. As the blast flew from above her and away, Silene got up and shot a blast of snow in retaliation at the son of Hades. "Answer me! Why are you attacking us?"

(haha what a joke, greetings<3 Matt!! SORRY I WENT INACTIVE!!)
Summer burst out of her cabin, knife ready in hand, dark green eyes narrowed. What the hell? At her first glance, it seemed like the monsters from the forest was attacking the camp. But the monsters never venture out that far...this isn't supposed to happen...??
Summer jogged along the sides, trying to figure out what was happening. She nearly tripped over a little girl who was standing next to a hellhound. "Sorry," Summer muttered, and went on. Another hellhound leapt at Summer, and she quickly sidestepped, stabbing the monster as it flew past her, feeling a twinge of guilt as it crumbled into golden dust in midair. As a daughter of Hades, she kind of liked hellhounds. They weren't so scary when they weren't attacking people.
"Answer me! Why are you attacking us?" Silene. Summer turned towards the white-haired girl, who was shouting at... Shade?
"Shade?!"
Wasn't he on a quest? He was back already? And he was attacking the camp?
For a second, Summer refused to believe that it was Shade. The shy, quiet Shade she knew would never do this to his friends. But it obviously was him, standing there. So this wasn't the Shade she knew. Summer didn't know what to think now, hesitating on whether to help Silene or not.

Shade's hazel eyes glimmered darkly like ugly storm clouds in a tornado. A barrier of black flame engulfed the ice, turning it to nothing but useless water. He had seen a ridge of crystal white energy lining it. She was a spell user, and it kept the ice frozen. But his flames were lined with his own power. Often, a shimmer of red could be seen in the flames. If he hardened the spell enough, he could burn her ice, no matter how strong her spell was. She was only the daughter of a minor goddess, after all. "I don't answer to those I don't acknowledge. And for all I know, I don't know you." His voice was heated and hard. It was completely opposite from what he had been, shy and calm. And as far as his memory went, there was no "gentle Shade."

Renate easily blocked a sword. She was daughter of Ares she could deal with simple weapons. Studying her opponent in one quick glance she decided he didn't seem alive. So how to destroy it? The question was puzzling. But seeing the daughter of Hades appear she called her over to fight her brother "Hey do you think you can help out here?" she asked smiling. Grinning at the creature she decided the best thing to do with it was defense and enough offense to push it back. Seeing the dead girl at her feet with her foot she kicked up her sword sending it into the sky. In a quick motion she jump kicked the creature catching the other sword and wondering if her foot went through it.

Dark was smart enough not to show her exactly what kind of monster he was, and he was smart enough not to show he was a shade in particular. He wasn't going to let the enemy know his own abilities. He blocked her kick with an arm like a demigod would. He slid to the side to avoid her. His blazing red eyes like flaring coals. The monster slashed out at her side the moment she passed, a hiss escaping from him. "Demigods are getting more vicious and skilled, don't you think, Master?"
Shade didn't look back at Dark as he fought. "Concentrate on your fight and don't bother me, Dark." He replied bluntly.

"Uh, sure," Summer muttered to a girl who she later realized was the Ares cabin leader. As the monster slashed at Renate, Summer charged in, swinging her knife out at the monster, hoping that it was slower immediately after it attacks. Summer had never seen this kind of monster before, but it seemed to have something to do with her half brother. A beast from the Underworld, perhaps?

Keeping freezing spells on the ice was tiring. He was able to melt them with his flame anyway. She narrowed her eyes in frustration. She couldn't fight this person with ice. She shot a few ice daggers at Shade just for a distraction. Then she snatched a sword from a fallen demigod and charge forward at Shade, slashing successively.

Shade melted the daggers as they flew out at him. He spun sideways to avoid Silene's sword. He shot a column of flame as she charged past him. Then he turned to see Dark fending off two girls. Now he couldn't let the trusted monster just die. He shot a black flame at him, bathing the shade in a black and shimmering flame. Dark was born from this very fire. He melted into it, completely unharmed. His arms flickered with flame and their weapons passed through him harmlessly. He rolled away, setting the grass alight. At his touch, the Athena cabin began to burn. He returned to normal after the sudden boost of power. His flaming red sword in his hand. = Human form of Dark!

(Amazing how much can happen in a couple days. Hope you don't mind if I join in.)
Zeke glanced out of the cabin, rubbing his eyes as he'd just awoken from a nap, to find a kid attacking the campers. Glancing at his cabin, he saw that the paint had been nearly burnt off, though most was extinguished, somehow. There was a small smoldering bit left at the edge and he put out the fire with a little ice. Glaring at Shade, he threw on his hoodie and stepped outside, walking calmly as he could, though I must admit he was a little scared after seeing the body of a small girl laying on the ground in a bloodstained Camp Half-Blood T-Shirt, toward the middle of the fight, slowly icing his hands over until there was no skin left visible. This kid was going down. He'd interrupted his nap. Firing a few daggers off before the boy noticed him there, he ran into the fray of powers. He vaguely noticed Renate, Seline, Summer, and Tina. They all fought well but he could tell they needed help. He was determined to be that help.
