"Accidents happen!" she snapped at Dark. Her green eyes blazing "Don't tell me you never screwed up. Cause I know you must have in some point,"
Glancing quickly at Terry she sighed. Not even remembering how the accident happened, but she guessed it was Fate because it's what saved his life.
When Terry grabbed her sleeve she stiffened remembering how she left and her plan failed so now he's hurt. Not only that but he trusted her, and if he found out that what he thought was Kat was actually a lie. Well it won't be great...

"Let's just go, Dark." Shade's voice stopped the creature of night. He looked at Kat, then Terry. He did know the . He just couldn't remember well. What were they to him? Did he know? It was like he had two personalities he was accustomed to, but couldn't decide which one to use. "I'll do this later. I need to get rid of this scar first. Father had a lot of explaining to do. You can't fight alone. I can't fight anymore. Let's just go." His reasoning was cold logic. The monster stepped back, obeying.

Terry heard them. The hazy voices crowded in his head. They fought over each other to make sense. Were they leaving? Terry managed to turn his gaze at Shade. His pale blue eyes were pleading for his friend not to leave. But he wasn't his friend. From his expression, Shade hated him.

Kat cleared her throat "Um Shade...what do you want me to tell your sister when we get back to camp? Since you don't want to finish this quest I'm guessing..." she hoped the words brought memories and he would turn back into the kind guy he was and everybody respected.

Shade looked at them first in confusion, but then a hardening resolve. I will be back to kill both of you. It seemed like he was saying.
His last words lingered in the air. "As far as I know, I never went to any camp, and I never had any friends or a sister." Then they dissolved into the darkness of the shadows and were gone

Terry just watched as they disappeared into the dark. "Don't go..." But it was too late. Terry narrowed his eyes. How did this happen? How had he allowed it to happen...?
Shade's words hurt more than his injuries. His side was still bleeding slowly and his left arm was burned. He felt like he should just lay there and die. Shade had left. Oh no...the promise to Summer. What was he going to tell Summer?

Kat honestly was feeling annoyed/angry/shocked/depressed enough not to care if she died. It's not like Hades could have tortured her forever in the Underworld, her mother being Queen and all wouldn't allow that much. Though Kat wished she had more control over her husband who was kind enough to send her best friend to kill her, then again Shade didn't know what he was doing, he was like a lost soul. Not looking at Terry she turned around "Let's go back to Matt, we still have something to complete," and with that said she walked off into the dark shadows of the trees.

"Wha- wait..." Terry turned around as Kat just...left. Shade was gone, and she didn't seem fazed by it at all. Terry winced and held his side. He headed after her. Where Matt was, there were bandages.
