So throw your phone away and let the night decide 'Cause when the sun goes down down down... Baby it's Do or DieYou won't be able to sleep tonight. No questions asked. Matthew Erikson was throwing a camp party. Why? Well because he figured that he might as well warn people that they will not be resting all week, this week being the week of his birthday. And well... He loved an excuse to throw a large party. Though this one wasn't as great as the ones he used to throw on his birthday, see. This year Matt decided to try something different. Throw a party Monday, and do random stuff all week. Until Wednesday, his birthday, when he will just sleep in, deciding that was the best sort of party he could give himself.
The amphitheater blared music. Currently 'Do or Die' by 3Oh!3, the lights flashing. Silver should be coming in along with the children of Apollo to do a better light show. Alot of the campers with powers had some sort of task. Or rather just random event Matt had for them to do to insure nobody sleeps tonight as the music blared.
Even Chiron and Mr. D were at the party just hanging out. The music loud enough so they couldn't sleep either. Not that Mr. D cared, Matt got away with throwing parties like these all the time. His dog Patriot being outside swimming in the lake, since she wasn't really one to want to be in a crowded place.
The whole camp had a choice, though not announced, either attend or stay up all night in your cabins. Most campers attending due to the fact Matthew Erikson did in fact though the best parties. The black and white lights flashing as the bass dropped. Matthew grinned, his black skinny jeans flashing his white shirt was glow in the dark, and his shoe laces a neon orange, camp spirit. His bead necklace the only thing that didn't seem bright, or stylish. The son of Dionysus grinned brushing his dirty blonde hair to the side as he watched the place flood in.
On the stage their were refreshments, the dj, and Chiron and Mr. D who didn't seem to be paying much attention to the demigods. The amphitheater didn't even look like an amphitheater all the seats gone, everything looked new. The walls decorated a silver so that the light reflected and shone throughout the flashing room. All doors and windows open to insure it didn't get too hot. On the center of the dance floor, the new girl Aurora should be coming on soon to juggle fire, some Apollo kids with microphones as they sang, Matt had it all planned. And you couldn't help but feel like you were entering a new land upon stepping inside.
The powerful demigods all had a job. Though Matt had no clue if they would be completing them. Silene was to create ice sculptures and have them reflect the lights even better than the silver walls, Zeke was asked to moderate room temperature, and Silver would be starting a electric show on the ceiling, something Matt knew would look outstanding.

Terry had enjoyed the idea of the party. He was busy flitting around above the camper's heads, making sure that everything was orderly. From time to time, he would disappear out the door and come back carrying a large box from time to time. He landed, setting one down right now at the moment. He opened it quickly and evaded the crowd that rushed forward to get the soda he had smuggled in. Sometimes he would open an air mail portal that belched out more props and stuff.
"Hey Matt! Happy early birthday, bro!" He swooped over to the son of Dionysus, dropping down behind him and slapping his back, though not hard. "I'll give you your present, on the actual day, okay?" He was a stickler to traditions. He had gotten his friend something terrific, though. He knew him too well.

Silene was silent, staying out of the way of the party. Her earphones plugged out all sound, and were actually silent at the moment. It was just to keep the clamor from fully reaching her ears. The freezing mist around her kept all the other campers at bay, and they avoided her readily. She finished an ice sculptor, a winged horse in its full splendor. It was intricate in every way. All she had to do was mold the crystalline element into the shape she desired by imagining. She was quick and accurate at controlling ice.
She turned, starting a jaguar form beside the stage because it was for Matt and Mr. D. She would have much rather gone to sleep, but it wasn't like there was another option. She was known for being obedient, after all.

Zeke couldn't believe he'd actually agreed to help out at the party. Then again, it wasn't like he had much choice. He had to do something that night and sleep was definitely not an option with this party going on. He kept the temperature in the room cool, but not freezing. And the air was never stationary as he willed a gentle breeze to blow through the doors and out through the windows, keeping the air fresh.
Of course, this didn't mean he was exactly enjoying himself. No, doing his 'job' was only his birthday present to Matt. After all, who could hope for a better present than Zeke not wrecking the party? He stayed at the edge of the amphitheater, leaning against the wall. His eyes were cold, the air around him colder. He'd much rather be asleep but perhaps there may be something to gain from all this. His eyes searched the crowd, looking for a certain Ares cabin leader.

Matt had been admiring the jaguar sculpture Silene had made when Terry suddenly landed turning to see his friend he grinned. "Well hello there Terry!" he said with a bright grin then added in a false serious tone "Oh no! Terry! In Germany its bad luck to say Happy Early Birthday!" the Dionysus cabin leader laughed shaking his head.
"Thanks for coming," he said laughing. He even knew you didn't have much of a choice. "No present?" he laughed then gave him a puppy dog face "Awwe Terry, you know how much I love to stray away from tradition," the boy laughed.

Renate is anything loved parties. Her smile bright as she entered wearing casual faded skinny jeans and a nice clay red shirt, her highlights standing out a bit. The daughter of Ares may be daughter of the war god, but that didn't mean she couldn't be as lively as the children of Dionysus. But being that lively all the time...well she couldn't do that.
Renate casually walked in, even if it wasn't a forced entry she would've come. The small Korean girl slipping through the crowd to get a good look at the place. Renate had heard of Matt's amazing parties, but had honestly never attended one. Her brown eyes full of curiosity as she stepped through the groups of people. A small few not in a group, and a even smaller few stuck by the wall seeming tired and wanting to sleep. Zeke and Silene she noted to be part of this group. Flashing a brilliant smile at Zeke she waved.

Nick showed up to the party, to the glee of the Aphrodite girls. His black blouse and pants looking stylish as he entered the flashing room. His ghostly gray eyes scanning it. Now he was definitely the type to wreck a party, but first he had to have some fun right?
He looked around. Who should he mess with? He could sense many of the demigods had lost someone, and being that they were all crowded in a room...maybe he could bring all the ghosts in? But no...that would only cause temporary amusement... he wanted to make someone seem psychotic...but who... The son of Thanatos strolling casually through the crowd. His eyes scanning the room as he noted Silene and Zeke by the wall, Renate waving at the ice boy, and Terry speaking with Matt, the obnoxious guy who decided to deprive everyone of sleep that night. But it was fine, surely Mr. D and Chiron loved the idea, knowing that the next day all the campers will be too tired to cause much commotion.

Post by Aurora 'Rora' Blackwell on Jul 17, 2012 20:41:24 GMT -5
Rora had her hair slicked back, her attire being fiery red jeans and a white t-shirt. Her jet black hair seemed to turn dark blue under the flashing lights, her dark eyes amused as she glided to the center of the stage to start the fire show.
Her brown eyes spotted Silene and she smiled waving slightly before lighting a stick on fire, the flame starting off small as she concentrated on making it grow. Then picking up the second stick she lit that on fire too. Rora shifting a bit as gazes fell on her alarmed, the new girl already holding two torches in the middle of a crowded room...that's a nice way to get to know people...she thought.
Looking upwards she tossed the sticks in the air starting to juggle them slowly before speeding up to the point the sticks seemed to make a ring of fire. The girl adding more sticks which caught on fire as well. She didn't even have to worry about getting burned. If she touched the flame all that happened was the warmth reached her skin making her smile in pleasure.

Silene moved on as the birthday boy and Terry neared, chatting away happily as the old friends they were. She headed off to the side, noticing Zeke doing his job and Renate hurrying over. She wasn't surprised, and the son of Boreas could enjoy himself now. Her winter green eyes caught sight of Nick. The Minor Gods Cabin Leader was no fool. She had noticed his sly ways to cause trouble and traumatize others. She would not let him slip so easily out of her watchful gaze.
"Mr. Salvador," The daughter of Khoine greeted her cabin mate with an icy tone, "I trust that there will be no trouble from you tonight? Mr. D will not enjoy any kind of foolishness today. Be...obedient."

Zeke spotted Renate and it seemed she'd seen him too. He returned her wave, approaching the girl. "I really can't tell but is it too cold in here?" he asked, being used to sub-zero temperatures, himself. He honestly didn't care, however, he just wanted to start off a conversation, savoring every moment he had with the daughter of Ares.
He noted Nick walk in and shot him a hostile glare before his features softened, once more, as he turned back to Renate. Hopefully, Silene would keep him in order.

Silver had entered the room. Her eyes stormy as she stared dully at the ceiling which suddenly sparked with the lightning starting and crackling making some campers jump. The show quite beautiful really. Made it seem like you were in a storm. The darkness, the flashing of lights. Sure it was a pretty nice storm. But you couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of lightning in a place like this.
The daughter of Zeus kept away from the people, or rather they kept away from her. Their hair standing on end if they drew near. She didn't seem dressed up at all. skinny jeans and a random shirt which just happened to be ripped and scorched, her worn out black converse looking out of place amongst the heels and nicer shoes from the Aphrodite cabin. Making her still seem intimidating, and maybe even unapproachable.

Tina wore a black dress, the same one she had donned on her first day in the Underworld, and a gift from Shade. Oh, she missed him now. She missed Julien now. She missed her brother, Kat, and the son of Hades. She missed them all. Her posture was timid as she slid along the crowd, trying to find someone she knew.
The lights suddenly flashed at the ceiling, and she jumped. Looking up, she saw waves of electricity sparking along, and she smiled. Silver, of course. "I-it's really p-pretty, Miss Silver." The daughter of Demeter turned to find her standing off to the side. she had happened to be in the same general area as well. "H-how are you liking the party?"

Nick Salvador had turned at the sound of her voice. Annoyence raising. Silene Deloria. A nuisance that needed to be taken care of...A light bulb flickered in the back of his mind as he masked his dislike towards her with a brilliant smile "Silene! Of course I wouldn't cause problems! It's a party!" he laughed.
Studying her quickly he noted the flash of gold still around her neck. He had noticed it the first day he meet her, and noted she always wore it. But had been too occupied with Renate, Zeke, Connor, and Silver to pay much attention to the person who was in his own cabin and could be another victim. This one though. He had to be more innocent about. "That's a nice locket. You always seem to wear it," he told her innocently. Searching her eyes for some sort of trace. He had to catch who was the dead person. A cousin, friend, sibling? He had to have the thought flicker in her mind so that the memory of it's ghost could arise and Nick could recognize it. And begin toying with the cold girl.
Not that he had anything against her in particular. He didn't hate anyone really. He just hated life. Maybe because he was soo use to death and wanted to get the living part over with. But if he had to live, he might as well do something amusing. And their was nothing the Fates could do to stop him from having this fun.

She watched him, studied him. she was looking, analyzing for any signs of his sneaky tricks. She had talked to Zeke, and felt the slightest bit closer to him after sharing her largest secret. She knew that Nick was toying with the son of Boreas, and that there was something off about this boy.
His reference to her locket surprised her, though only the slightest flicker could be seen in the very depths of her winter green eyes. And it was only for a moment. "It's important to me." She replied simply, and coldly, not really saying anything else. She had come here to prevent him from playing his tricks, to be an obstruction to him. But now, it was her turn to be toyed with.

Nick smiled speaking words that had nothing to do with his thought of the ghost he could feel. "Oh I see. We all have something important to us I suppose," he said with a kind shrug. Nothing could give away the cruel joke unrolling in his mind. The son of Thanatos was a excellent actor, you can give him that.
And it would begin with a slight movement. Nick didn't show any sign of using his powers as a faint image of the ghost in Silene's locket rushing through the door behind Nick and disappearing into the crowd. The white haired ghost had seemed real. But could only be seen by Nick and Silene. The girl having disappeared due to the fact he wanted to test Silene. See her reaction.
