Silene narrowed her eyes, but didn't reply. Instead, she just gave him a polite nod, wondering if she was just judging him too harshly. But then the white-haired outline crossed the corner of her vision. Her winter green eyes went wide for a moment, and she swallowed. That girl, who had looked like an older version of her... There was no doubt. She must have been hallucinating.
She turned back to Nick, shivering despite being accustomed to cold. This was her one true weakness, and he had found it, not that she was fully aware yet that it was him who was causing the trouble. She resisted the urge to pursue the girl, who had been, no doubt, her sister. Something was wrong.

Nick cocked his head to the side. His eyebrows furrowing slightly as spoke to her "Are you cold? Maybe your getting sick..." he murmured softly. "You typically seem to like the cold..." he told her honestly. He didn't seem to show any signs of his inner thoughts, feelings.
It would look strange if you could see outside Nick and inner Nick side by side. Inner Nick laughing at Silene's weakness. A grin at her shiver. The ghostly girl running across the center past Aurora the girl juggling fire. And pausing for a moment to look at Silene only to run away into the crowd and disappear once more.

Justin the Aphrodite cabin leader had been at the party awaiting Silver's arrival. Sure it was a party to celebrate Matt's birthday. But he needed a chance to get to her and she refused to be alone with him. So she would do so in public. Spotting her talking to Tina he smiled taking a cup of soda and making his way over.
Grinning he smiled at Tina "Hey Tina, Silver," he said smiling at her sweetly. Though his brown eyes were masked with pain he felt at having her reject him for someone who was dead. The devastation making him still hurt now. But he would still try to win her over.

"What?" Silene wasn't really paying attention to what Nick was saying. She turned her gaze back on him, wondering just what was wrong with herself. The temperature dropped around them right on cue as she grew frustrated. "I'm fine. This is nothing." She forced herself to stop the tremor, and turned to scan for her sister once more.
She wasn't hallucinating. The daughter of Khoine caught sight of her older sibling just as she moved past Rora. Was she leaving the building, looking at her? The one who had always taken care of her. Has she somehow survived? Why hadn't her mother told her if she had? "I think I'm going to...I have something to do." She told the son of Thanatos absentmindedly. Zeke would have to deal with Nick and try to get along. She needed to know. she hurried after her sister to the area she disappeared.
(Not gonna need a new thread, right? We can do it here?)

(hm..yeah. It'll keep this thread more organized xD)
Nick frowned at her "Are you ok? It looks like you've seen a ghost," he said cautiously. As he watched her carefully. The temperature dropping and making his insides heat up with pleasure.
Rushing after her he called at her "Do you need help? Who are you looking for?" he asked her curiously. Not letting anything slip. Not even his ghostly gray eyes. He had years of practice with this skill. So naturally it was perfected to the point it was believeable.
(sorry it's late...kinda, idk how much time it took for me to change and brush my teeth xD)

Silver looked down at Tina. Her eyes still a stormy gray as she forced a smile "Thank you Tina," the smaller daughter of Demeter was the only one Silver wouldn't ever electrocute. Mostly because she was young. And reminded her a bit of herself before her mother had attempted to kill her and her life took a turn. "It's alright I suppose...you?"
Justin though made the smile fade easily. Everything that involved Justin made her frown. The boy wouldn't leave her alone. Her voice dropping coldly she muttered "Hello,"

Silene didn't really reply. If she had been thinking properly, with her head clear, or if she hadn't been so stunned by that main, one weakness of hers, she would have been able to pick out the irony in between Nick's words. She had seen a ghost, but she payed him no heed. She rushed away quickly and out the door, into the night air, scanning for the image of her sister. She caught sight of a flash of white hair heading away.
To her annoyance, Nick had followed her out, and she shook her head. "Go back to your playpen, Salvador." She was obviously in a foul mood, but her voice had lost its threatening tone. The daughter of Khoine dashed off, following her sister's ghost into the trees, and halted her steps when she realized what Nick had said. "Who are you looking for?" Wait a moment...She hadn't said anything about looking for anyone. Smething was wrong.

Tina blushed at her thanks, nodding her blonde head slightly in reply to show that she had accepted it. "I'm doing fine. Just a bit lonely." She said quietly, searching the crowd for someone. But who was she supposed to search for? No one she knew was here, or alive, for that matter. Other than Cascade...who hadn't arrived yet. She doubted her little friend enjoyed such a crowded area.
"Hello, J-Justin." The daughter of Demeter greeted the boy with a slight stammer to her voice. She gave him a small smile, knowingly. He liked Silver, and she knew that. At least he was still trying, and hadn't given up yet. She glanced at Silver, catching a hint of annoyance in her stormy eyes. Yup, the daughter of Zeus would need time.

Terry pretended to look shocked, "Is it really? Sorry, bro! Then that's your present for today, bad luck! I still haven't forgiven you for the wine flood. Everyone in my cabin is underage, in case you haven't noticed." He wagged a finger at his friend. "But anyway, rules are rules, it's even worse luck to get your present early, bro. You know the drill, it's never really changed." He smiled, looking around. "But this is once heck of a party you're throwing, man! It's real legit. It's been a long time since I've been to one this hectic." If only Kat were here. That was all he regretted.

Justin's smile faltered slightly at Silver. "How are you?" he asked staring at Silver, though he meant it to be in general so that Tina wasn't excluded. The son of Aphrodite was kind to everyone so excluding someone wasn't really his style.

Matt shook his head with a grin "Psh where did you hear early presents was bad luck?" then he burst out laughing. "I didn't tell them to drink it. Plus. In some countries more than half of them will be of age. And since technically US laws are for man. Not half man. We aren't really under them," he said with a smile.
Looking around at the place he shrugged watching the fire show before turning his gaze to the ceiling to see the electric lights. "Yeah. It's pretty good. I wish all the campers were here to enjoy it though." he said referring to Shade and Jasper. Some good friends who were now gone and not returning. Or at least Shade wasn't anytime soon.

"You and your stinking loopholes," Terry laughed at his friend's innocent, and illogical words. "Dude, how did you expect them not to drink it? They were sleeping and you drowned them in the stuff! They kinda choked on it before they were awake. You should've heard my thoughts when I came back and opened the door. You should be glad I got you a present that wasn't remodeling paint."
The son of Hermes nodded slowly, turning his head up at the crackling sparks. Everyone. By everyone, that meant everyone. He swallowed hard, then sighed. "Oh well. They'll get the chance when they come back." He had faith in all of them.

Silver glared at him "Better without you," she growled annoyed by the boy. He wouldn't stop. he was convinced he liked her and their was even a chance she would be with him. Ha. Silver was independent. Silver felt no love. No lust. No longing. She was bitter dark.

Renate smiled at Zeke "Actually it's perfect, you know how to do your job," she told him. "How are you enjoying the party?" she asked him brightly.

Zeke smiled, glad the temperature wasn't too cold. "Well, it'd be better without so many people but it's not like I can just sleep through the night so I'm stuck here," he laughed, his words coming off in a joking tone. In all reality, however, he would rather sleep than be here. The only perk to this otherwise annoying party was seeing Renate.
