Garret grinned "Naturally, unless you prefer going to your dorm. I think Max might be in there," he said with a shrug as he tried to hide the fact he actually was anxious to talk to her. Pyre in a sense was lucky. His dorm was crowded with people he could talk to all night, the Poseidon dorm...well it was a stony silent.

"I think I'll stick with your place," Pyre nodded, walking out toward the entrance. He was still wondering if he should apologize to Max. He couldn't blame her for not choosing. Maybe he would swing by his dorm and say he was sorry. No, if he was it would be in private when he got her alone and everyone wasn't watching them like it was their favorite sitcom.

Garret shrugged hiding his slight disappointment. "All cool," he said heading towards the Poseidon dorm. Which was currently a mess. With random papers scattered. Pencils all over the place, and some random stuff thrown on his floor. From jackets he was too lazy to put up to old photographs of Max, Pyre, and Garret.

Pyre walked in and sat in his usual place, on a chair next to a table filled with pictures of him, Max, and Garret. He wanted to throw them all out the window but, at the same time, to pick each of them up, one at a time, and reflect upon what they had been doing at the time it was taken and how strong their friendship was. "I miss it," he said, eventually, mostly to himself. "It was only a few weeks ago but I already miss it."

Garret looked down at the pictures and nodded “I do to…I’ve been working on putting them into a scrapbook, but I think I’m gonna need more books….” He said chuckling. He walked over to his closet and pulled on the wall, a hidden hole holding many random books inside. Each edge naming a year or a month. Pulling the newest out he took some of the pictures and flipped to the last page. Placing them inside and scribbling quick descriptions at the side. He still had a stack sitting in his drawer and a couple more in other places. Garret had also been collecting their pictures these past weeks, wanting to remember it all forever. The school had cameras everywhere thus many pictures showed up hidden. Putting the new book back he pulled at a orange book. Flipping to the first page he pointed at a younger Pyre. “This was from the day we meet…” he told Pyre the next picture a photograph of the two boys sitting next to each other in one of their random history classes. The next page then showed pictures of two girls emerging in the school. These girls were Max and her sister Elizabeth. “I remember when they arrived…” he told Pyre thinking of how long ago that was.

Pyre looked at each picture Garret showed him with longing for the simplicity of those days when all he had to worry about was grades. "How do you get these?" he asked, knowing there was no one actually taking these pictures and he doubted Garret's ability to get them from the school's security cameras. On any normal day, he would have laughed at Garret for making a so many scrap books of them but, today, he wished he had made some. The only pictures he had of Garret and Max were school photos and a few from a summer they'd spent together.

Garret grinned at Pyre “I got access to some of the school cameras a while back. I’m kinda obsessed with capturing all ourmoments…” he said quite honestly. Though he never admitted it to Pyre until now since he was afraid Pyre would make fun of him, but now it seemed like Pyre was rather glad he did so.

Pyre laughed, trying to get over the past, knowing it was gone. "I can tell," he grinned, leaning back against the back of the chair. "I still can't believe how much things have changed within just the last month," he said. Briefly, he contemplated telling Garret about the day in the Theater with Sabrina where he'd revealed his past and wondered if he should tell Garret. But the thought quickly exited his head, knowing he couldn't. Still, he felt like he should tell him something. He could tell Garret had been keeping this secret for a while and coming clean about it, now, it felt like Pyre wasn't being honest with Garret. Every time he asked about Pyre's past, he had always told him about his home life and some friends. He'd never even mentioned Jacob, the victim of his rage and frustration. But he couldn't tell. The secret would remain.

Garret grinned at Pyre and started putting the scrapbooks back. But as he placed the last book on the self he paused. Pulling out the new book once again. He looked down at the silver pages and flipped close to the end. A picture of Garret fighting Pyre in its own page a long description scribbled underneath. The page before showing the three of them sitting in class. Max in the center as Garret and Pyre worked against each other to get her attention. He contemplated showing Pyre how ridiculous the picture seemed as it stood out of place but instead placed the scrapbook back and picked up a camera snapping a picture of Pyre seated. Clicking the preview button he grinned "The title for this one will be 'Pyre deep in thought'" he told Pyre with a grin. The picture during Pyre's thoughts of his past. Connecting the camera to a small printer he started printing out the picture and adding it to the stack of pictures yet to be sorted and placed.

Pyre laughed his usual, careless laugh. Maybe things would change for the better. He and Garret were already friends, again. Maybe he and Max will be, too, eventually. He just hoped they would be back to the way they were before graduation and things got harder. For one thing, Garret would be teaching next year. Another being that if he and Max didn't repair their friendship, he was afraid it would be too late. Still, he couldn't just walk into the Minor Gods cabin shouting 'Sorry'.
Instead deciding to live in the moment, he ignored his thoughts for the future and memories of the past. "So what do you need me to do with these papers?" he asked, half regretting he volunteered to help.

Garret had forgotten the papers for a moment as he skinned through his mess tossing it into neater piles for later clean up. Looking back at Pyre he frowned. Those files... Deciding that he could hold off he replied with a grin "Just lock them in the drawer next to you. I'll turn them in some other week. I think for now I'll just stick to the student schedule..." he told Pyre grinning. After looking at the pictures he realized this was not something he was willing to give up. At least not yet...

Pyre did as he was told, putting the papers in a drawer beside him and locking it with a key on the top of the drawers. "Student schedule?" he asked. "Who are you and what have you done with my best friend?" He knew the free period was about over and soon they'd be returning to their separate classes. He wanted to be in this room, forever, though. Just talk to Garret and enjoy life for the first time in weeks. The only thing that would make the moment better would be if Max were with them. Pyre decided he would apologize. After debating it since the dance, he finally came to the conclusion he needed to apologize. He needed things the way they'd always been - the three of them, inseparable. He decided he would apologize tomorrow. He would do it today but he didn't have any other classes with her and the dorm was too crowded. Things would be the way they were before the dance. Or so he hoped.

Garret grinned. Then looked at the time and groaned "You know their making me take AP Physics? Physics! What am I going to do with that?" he complained picked up one of the large textbooks stuffed with papers. His notebook on too and a pen in his pocket.
"Ohh as for Garret. I buried him in homework.." he said gesturing to the binder of random papers he called organized.

Pyre laughed. "Yeah, and I've got Advanced Algebra - not that I'm ever gonna use it in my life," he said, returning complaint and laughing as Garret said he had buried the real him in homework. "Well, there's the bell," he sighed as a ringing came over the intercom speaker in the center of the room indicating it was time to go to class. "I'll see ya around, then," he sighed, getting up from his chair and walking past Garret towards the door.

Garret left the room after Pyre left calling good bye before picking up his things and rushing to his next class not wanting to be late. Which seemed to be a tendency for him unless Max was also running late and slowing time. Which probably wasn't happening at the moment.
