Pyre walked into the dorm after a long school day. Exhausted, he threw himself on his bed and tried to fall asleep. It was all he wanted, a good night sleep. Unfortunately, rest shimmered just out of reach, dancing on the tips of his fingers and retreating away as he desperately tried to grasp it. After hours of attempting sleep, he was about to find a child of Hypnos.
Giving up on his bed, Pyre walked over to a small desk. Running his finger around the side, he found the hidden button he had one of the Hephaestus students install and pressed it. Instantly, a door silently opened on the wall - a hidden shelf. He pulled out his laptop and turned it on. On this very computer, he had stored his journal, pictures, any notes, and other miscellaneous things. He knew, of course, he wasn't permitted on the internet for the same reasons as the cell phone ban. He was practically setting his head on a silver platter for any monsters close enough to sense the message it sent out. That message usually came in the form of 'Hey, ugly monster people. I'm right here! Come eat me!'. He didn't listen to the rules, however. If a monster was to attack, there was a whole school of demi-gods it would have to go through. He doubted a Titan could get through!
Opening his e-mail, he began to type.
Dear Mother,
Today was another grueling day at the Academy. The teachers gave out more homework than needed, as always. Could it really be considered homework, if you're doing it at school in a dorm room? Oh well, I'm getting off track (curse my ADHD brain). I was hoping to see you this weekend. I've saved enough money for a bus trip. Unfortunately, I have a big test next week and need to study. Honestly, who really needs to know the difference between Kronos and Chronus? Anyways, I hope to hear from you soon.
Your Son,
Pyre
Send.

Max just walked in dumping her bag onto the floor as she kicked it across the floor. The dorms here were coed. But for her sanity split into sections. What was supposed to act like a game room became the girl's side. So due to her great annoyance she didn't notice anything. Just barged in with a frown. Seriously, how hard was it to remember she was NOT daughter of a Titan but of the god of time?
That day had dragged. Her grouchiness making the time slow and to her annoyence she didn't notice until the end of the school day. Her backpack crashing against the wall she growled and picked it up tossing it to where her stuff laid. Normally she would have noticed something strange but at this point in tine she was just getting mire annoyed. Pulling out a notebook she began her long essay on the different between her father Chronos and the Titan Kronos.
Then hearing a faint sound her eyes narrowed "Jhello," she called calmly doubting anyone would have snuck into the Minor Gods dorm. Especially since the Apollo kids had their dorm color as gold, and the Zeus kids were rumored to keep many rare artifacts in there. Then you had the Hermes kids who seem to herd all the cool stuff and hide it and the Athena kids who had very useful items in every corner of the room.

After hearing a "Hello?" from the girls' area, Pyre quickly shut the laptop off and stuffed it away in the shelf. Closing the shelf door, he replied. "Max? Is that you?" he asked in an exhausted tone. Forcing himself out of the chair he was sitting in, Pyre walked into the girls' area.
Unlike most schools, Silver Creek didn't have rules about boys in girls dorms and vice versa. In all the other dorms, the kids were half-siblings. The Minor Gods dorm was just the odd one out. He supposed that was how the gaming room turned into the girls' room.
"haha what a joke, greetings<3 Matt, Max." Make anyone mad, lately?" he joked.

Max looked at the door to see Pyre walk in. "No, it's the Cat and the Hat here to end your day of incredible boredom," she responded sarcastically. Flashing a grin she added "Hey Pyre," with a slight flick of her hand that would have acted as a wave if she bothered completing it.
As a responce to his question she laughed. "Yup. Do you know why the day was twice as long as usual?!? It's cause time slowed!!!" she shook her head. "My dear, those kids sure need to stop mixing up Kronos with Chronos before time stops..."

Pyre laughed, nervously. "Haha... yeah. It's hard to mix them up." Taking a step back, he tried to change the subject. "So it was you who was responsible for my misery, today! School's bad enough without the daughter of the Lord of Time slowing down the day! Wow... do you have any idea how weird that sounds? What has my life come to?" he joked.

She laughed and rolled her eyes. "Pshh you should be glad the Daughter of the Lord of Time goes to this school. I make exam days go by twice as fast!" she grinned. It wasn't a lie. Sure some people fail cause they lost the half of hour of time needed to complete but it made the day go by faster therefore not as tormenting.

Pyre couldn't help but smile. Being the dorm leader, it was his job to report this but... it could be kept a secret. After all, this was something Pyre could enjoy. He'd just have to remember to study harder on exam day! Then, maybe he could get it finished before the class was over an hour early.
Leaning against the wall, Pyralis asked something that had been bugging him since he'd first met Max. "Max, if you can travel to the future and past... how exactly do you know when the present is?"

Max frowned slightly. Now this question did come out of nowhere. Sighing she replied as truthfully as she could. "Well I know when I'm in the future because it always changes, I know I'm in the past because I have a birth certificate. But I guess I never know when I'm in the present. I guess present to me is whatever feels most comfortable and relaxing. I can sleep better today than if I was travel ahead to the future and try." frowning she shook her head. "It's too hard to explain with words. I guess I can show you what I mean. I mean traveling you too will be tiring but not very...But you will most likely faint from the time change...But you will recover in a couple hours or so..."

Stepping back, Pyre shook his head. "Uhh... no thanks.... I really don't feel like fainting." He knew Max probably wouldn't listen but, hey, he tried. "Besides, don't those people on Disney movies or whatever always say you're not supposed to know the future? Oh, what the heck. Okay, let's go. Just don't make fun of me if I snore..."

Max flashed a brilliant smile. "Don't worry I won't go too far, just 10 years from now," she flashed a mischeavious smile and held onto his arm as the air around her wizzed like they were spinning. She watched in amusement as the room around her changed to a bigger nicer dorm. Stopping she turned to see her traveling companion who would either faint of feel very sick.

After already being exhausted from the long day - made longer by Max - the time travel was just too much for Pyre. The moment they arrived in the desired time, he collapsed.

Max catching him grunted as she dragged him to a nearby chair where she propped him up on a seat then bounded out the dorm to get something to eat. Her stomach flipping with hunger as she searched for a clear food item. Nobody could see them, they were like small dust particles in the future, unexistant.

Pyre, propped up on a chair, began to snore. It would've been hilarious if anyone could see him. Fortunately, the residents of this time couldn't see him or Max and Max was off to find some food. Beginning to come around, Pyre groaned. His eyes finally fluttered open and he was wide awake in seconds. Next time I need to sleep, I should go to Max. Not some Hypnos kid! he thought.
Rising from the chair, something caught his eye. The very same desk was in the room as before. He wondered if maybe the button still worked. It looked as if the room had merely been expanded, not rebuilt. The original wall was still there. Looking around, Pyre made sure no one was around.
Finding the button, he opened the secret shelf to find his laptop sitting there. Turning it on, he found a letter half-written.
Dear Mother,
Today was a rather frightening day. The school was attacked by yet another band of monsters. This time, they were helped by other half-bloods. Some of our friends who had disappeared during the recent months had been there. Helping the monsters. Attacking us.
There was no way to get them to come to their senses. It seemed they had one thing on their minds: To destroy the school. It's terrible. Fortunately, the teachers have come up with a possible way to defeat them. They're going t
Nothing. No more text. It was horrifying. Pyre simply dropped the laptop and it shattered as soon as it hit the ground. He sat back down on the chair, his mind racing.
(Haha... sorry for the long post...)

(No it's fine I'm use to it ) Max returned carrying a pop tart. "Yo Pyre, did you know Pop Tarts will still exist after soo long? Now that's ama-Woah! You can't go around and break things like that, it can effect the future's future," she said. Shaking her head and laughing slightly.

Pyre looked up miserably, forcing a smile. "What if this part of the future is from the past?" he asked. The screen on the computer flickered. Pyralis just wanted to take a gun to it. He had been warned of betrayal. He knew they weren't just dreams. Pyre merely ignored them. He tried to live life normally - or as normally as you can get when you're a Half-Blood. If it weren't for Max being there, he probably would've cried.
