(WEEKEND! FINALLY! No school for two days! Then back on Monday... ) "Alright, I guess. Not at my best but I'm not gonna be running off into the woods anytime soon," he replied, quietly. Tilting his head back upwards to gaze at the galaxy surrounding him once more, Pyre added, "Why do you ask?" He figured if he was to feel sick, it would have happened by now.

Max shrugged. "Its my first time traveling with someone who isn't related to me, I'm bound to want to know the results." which wasn't exactly a lie, she traveled her mother. And she had a migrane that whole day in the future. She also accidentally traveled her step dad, who had similar negative results.

"I'm fine, right now," he sighed. "How about you? You seem more tired than before. Maybe we should go back?" Pyre asked, sitting up and gazing at the girl beside him. He was worried about her. She seemed so tired, she would collapse. He wasn't sure if she'd ever stayed so far away from the present for so long, before.

Max shrugged "Nah I'm fine. I've been to Ancient Rome and back in one piece and two charms," she told him holding out a hidden necklace, the two charms she held out round and loopy, and made of pure diamonds. Very expensive, but a sword was very valued there, especially if it had celestial bronze and two rubies on it's hilt.

Pyre couldn't help but to laugh. "You went all the way to Rome? For two golden charms?" he asked in disbelief. "You don't seem like the type." Shrugging, Pyre continued, "Whatever. Your business." You see, unlike most Dorm Leaders, Pyralis was known to not ask many questions. He understood that if you wanted to reveal anything, you would, but when you feel you are ready. He didn't push things out of you.

Max shook her head "No I went to Rome to see if I can see some of the real mouth not just the story. And I just happened to run into these. Beautiful." she smiled and looked upwards again. So she didn't see any of the historical Demi-gods in Rome. But she did see the historical monsters. Which had to count for something.

"Ah, okay," he replied. Still staring at the stars, Pyre began to fall into a sleep. He seemed too tired to do anything. He figured it was due to the time travel. Max had told him he would feel sick and tired. Well, he was beginning to feel it! At least this time he didn't snore.

Max waited for him to fall asl before groggily returning to the present for a pop tart then back. Her ivy eyes looking a bit duller. Maybe sleep was good. Walking away from Pyre she kept the poptart in her hand as she slowly brine it into tiny pieces for when she would awake. Closing her eyes she fell into a normal sleep, the pop tart clenched in her hand.

Some time later, Pyre awoke to find Max beside him. Smiling, he lay there and looked up at the oncoming sunrise. He estimated it was about 5:30 or 6:00.
Inching slightly closer to Max, he sighed and nearly fell back asleep. He was determined to stay awake, however, as this would be the first sunrise he'd ever seen in the 1700s.

Max awoke with a start. Maybe it was the renewed energy or feeling of not belonging. But whatever it was it awoke the sleeping Demi god. The brown haired girl sitting upright, her ivy green eyes scanning the barn. Slipping away from Pyre she opened the barn doors letting the golden sunlight seep in. "Waky Waky Sleeping Beauty!" she teased him while she picked up her pop tart and crumbled it up to eat it and sprinkle some in her friend's mouth.

(I thought we were out by the fire still... oh well XD)
Pyre jumped up. He'd fallen asleep and hadn't seen the sunrise. "Good morning, Max," he sighed. Quickly patching up the roof where he'd blown a hole into it, Pyre sat down beside Max and began to eat a Pop Tart. "Yum!" he said with exaggerated delight. "So when are we heading back to the past?" he asked. He wasn't in a hurry but he was feeling awful sick. Max was right, people she took with her tended to get sick.

Max laughed. "Hm...well probably soon but first I want to see a pilgrim. But I'm not sure if they still live...huh....history is not my thing...." she said honestly and thoughtfully. Tapping her foot she pondered the idea for a moment wondering what period of time she was in and what occurred then.

"Well, if this is the late 1700s, that'd be the American Revolution!" he said. "The slaves we saw yesterday were probably shipping the wine off to England. The South wasn't all that interested in the Revolution. They hung back and watched the North until the last year when the British moved down south for support. Then, they began to revolute. Or would the word be revolt? Yeah, I think it' revolt. Anyways, we're about 100 years and 300 miles away from the pilgrims." Pyre smiled. He actually did know a little about the Revolution!

Max rolled her eyes and snorted "Nerd," she coughed smiling. Yes, Max was a 100% supporter of the nerds get picked on and if you are on top you are the best. But why wouldn't she be? She was on top, always and forever. Smiling she shrugged the thoughts away.

Pyre smiled. "You're the one who asked," he pointed out. Moving back to his sleeping spot, he cleaned up his stuff and put it in a big bag. "Can we keep 'em?" he pleaded. "Please!" He really liked the stuff the more he saw it. The sheets and pillows weren't the comfiest, but they were still nice... for the Revolution Era, that is. And they seemed to smell like vanilla and cinnamon.
