"....Terry?" His hazel eyes quint up at him, and he sighs in relief. "Man, I'm glad it wasn't really you fighting me..." He gazed at the demon that was roaring. Then it suddenly came down, attacking Terry. "Look out!"

"No...this is my fault." He turned around and blocked the demon with his staff. His arms shook in effort. He was running low on energy. How much had it taken from him? Feeding off of his hate. He had been too weak. He The demon's arms were blades. What kind of monster was this? It resembled a human.

The demon let out a howl and dispersed, exploding into darkness. Terry dropped his staff, the weight gone. He took a deep breath through all the panting. "It's...nothing...I'm really...sorry. I was weak...And when I stepped outside...he must have slipped into my shadow...he took...control...my fault..." Terry felt lightheaded, but he looked back at Shade. "Let's take him to the infirmary." He said, recovering from lack of breath.

Kat nodding unsure of what to say. "Ok..." Kat would at this moment try to have the trees carry him like the old cabin leader did. But she wasn't up for another mistake, for another failure.

Terry stumbled after standing up. He bent down and grabbed the smaller kid by the waist. He gave him a piggy back ride, careful not to touch the cut on his back. The one he had given him. He lowered his head in shame and began to head to the infirmary.

"It's fine." He replied with his flashy smile. It seemed to lighten the mood, and lift his spirits. Shade really reminded him of his little brother. The dead one. So stubborn. He felt horrible for hurting him. He cursed his own idiocy. He was so tired he needed to get checked when he got there too. Then he remembered. "Hey, Kat, can you get his swords? Bring the sheathes, those are improtant." He requested. He had figured out how Shade's weapons worked already. He had made up his mind to give him training next time if he wanted it.

She nodded and sprinted towards the weapons. Surprisingly nothing tripped her this time. And she made her way back in one piece "here they are," she said holding them up and taking a quick breathe of air.

He took a tired breath and nodded in thanks. "Let's get this poor kid to the infirmary." He led the way, walking off. Shade was surprisingly light.
