Kathrine jogged into the Arena cheerfully. She was in full armor and loaded with her sword and some small daggers. She wanted to test her reflexes that day and what better way than with armor? Blonde hair slicked back she smiled "Terry you should go easy on the new kid," she laughed obviously not seeing the tension.

"Looking for help?" Terry snarled. "Better give up now. You're not a match for me." He swung his staff again, down at his right side. He looked up to see her jog up. He didn't know what to say. "We're in the middle of something." His voice was cold hard. His staff morphed back again. the sphere ends turning into blades. "Ma I ask you to leave?"

Now she saw what was happening. And Terry wasn't playing. Drawing her silver blade she moved to difflect the staff "Terry STOP," she commanded blue eyes blazing. Why was he acting so different now?

Shade blocked the swing with his right arm, unable to react fast enough because of his leg. He couldn't move it properly...The impact was hard and shocked him at how much strength was behind it. It connected with his wrist. He dropped his right sword, and flew back, sliding across the sandy arena floor in pain. He coughed, his vision blurry.

"Why should I?" he asked calmly, his staff whirling in incredible speed. Around and around. His pale blue eyes were full of hurt and hate. He looked at Shade who had slid to the side. He wouldn't be getting up. The leg nerve was going to keep him down. He approached Kathrine with a smile. It wasn't his usual one. It was fake and crazy. One from hurt. "You don't know anything! So why don't yoy let me take care of things between me and Shade?"

Shade coughed on the ground, curling up a little in a bent position. His arm burned. The cut was long, but not deep. It stung nonetheless. he was cover in bruises. The strength behind the staff was strong and solid, fueled by so much hate...

"Look at you, lying useless on the ground, Shade. I thought you would be more careful after you saw what I could do at the infirmary. I know where disabling nerves are. How does it feel? Laying on the floor?" He didn't wait for an answer and turned back to Katrine. "This is our problem, not yours. So why don't you leave. I don't want to get you involved. You're no match for me. I've been here way longer than you. I've trained for this day! To find my brother and kill him for revenge. Someone like you wouldn't understand, but I'm not letting you get in the way."

Kathrine held her head up "Terry, stop it. It not right." looking at Shade she shook her head "I thought you knew better than taking those weaker and more inexperienced." she held her sword tight her blue eyes challenging. Just cause she couldn't control her powers didn't mean she couldn't call them forth. but even so she felt strange facing a friend "Terry, don't do it,"

"Don't wanna." He reached in his pocket and pulled out four white feathers. He threw them into the air and jumped up. The feathers grew into wings and stuck to this sides of his shoes. He hovered above her, twirling his staff. "What're you going to do? Fight me?" His smile was devil crazy. There was a great amount of hurt in his eyes he was masking with anger.
His smile widened in excitement. His pale blue eyes full of hatred. "Then so be it!" He flew down from the air, slashing down at her head.

She stared up "I don't want to Terry. Come down," she said softly as she stared up. She couldn't fight her friend, it would be wrong. But she knew the fact, she would fight him if she had to. Pulling out a smalldagfer she didn't hesitate she threw it quickly at one of the wings. Some flowers grew around her feet and they matched her feeling as they moved around uncomfortably.

"S-stop it! Move!" Shade watched with pain in his eyes. Friends didn't fight each other. What was Terry thinking? What was he doing? At this rate...Shade got up, his legs wobbly. As Terry flew down, he pushed Kathrine out of the way, a cut opening on his back from the blade. This time he couldn't grit his teeth and hold it in. He let out a yell of pain.

He did a front flip, whistling a tune in a relaxed manner.maybe he was crazy. He felt it. He couldn't hear a thing they were saying his senses were numbed. For some reason, all he felt was that Dodge was unforgivable. He needed Shade to tell him where he was. He almost landed a hit on Kathrine when Shade pushed her. He whistled in disappointment. She could have blocked that. He gave a sharp kick, knocking Shade to the side. "In the way!"

Her eyes widened as Aaron fell and took the hit for her. Idiot she wanted to hiss at the already hurt Demi god. But instead she rolled to the side and jumped forward a tree root giving her a slightly boost in speed as Terry hit Aaron. But when she was about to slash at him she froze and instead yelled "Terry stop! Please!" she didn't like this side of her friend. She couldn't trust it. And it scared her. The blonde knew she wouldn't beable to win, and if she did it would ne out of luck. Terry has had about twice the practice as she did and more experience.

He was on the ground, his back burning. Terry's kick sent him sliding away from their fight, clutching his side. He was breathing hard, his eyes heavy and blurred. "Stop....it...! Don't fight..."

"Like I said, don't wanna." Kathrine had the impression of not wanting to fight. For some reason, it made him relieved. His anger bunched up. The voice inside his head was not his.
What are you doing! Kill them! They're all your enemies! Don't leave them alive. They hate you. Theyre just like Dodge!
Who was it..? "Ahh..." His voice was confused and hurt. He held his head in his hands. His pale blue eyes closed. He remembered. Tey were his friends. Yeah. That word again. "Friends!" He screamed it this time. And a black cloud rolled out. Away from him. It separated from him. It was in his shadow. And it parted. A demon.
How dare you! I would have helped you become strong! I would have helped you kill Dodge!
"Yeah...but I won't hurt my friends..." His reply was faint. And he landed on the ground. The wings dispersed off of his shoes. How had that monster got in here? He must have brought it in. When he was at the border. When he had stepped outside to help Shade in. It must have gotten him then....but he knew this was all his fault. He let out a small smile, walking up to Shade. "Hey, Shade, sorry about...that." He felt weak, as if the energy inside him had been taken for some time.cit probably had been
