The nurse was a bit rough when it came to taking off the stitches. Maybe it was supposed to hurt this much. But as she started removing them, Shade gritted his teeth in pain and grabbed the bed sheet.
"I can't believe how fast your wound sealed up." she mused. "But if you move around, it'll open again. You will have to wait two more days for it to scab over and have some skin grow over that nasty cut."
Shade nodded in reply, trying not to move anymore because of the pain. He was afraid that if he opened his mouth he would let out a whimper or something. The nurse talked on as if it would help him keep his mind off of it. She yanked out another strand. Making Shade jerk reflexively.
"Sorry. Well, I'm done. Let go of the bed sheet. You're gonna ruin it. I had to iron the last one already. It's all crinkled, jeez."
"S-sorry." Shade managed to force the word out of his mouth and let go of the sheet. It was finally over. It hurt like Hades.

Terry walked in with some ambrosia brownie squares and nectar. He could hear the nurse blabbing in his room. Looks like his stitches were gone now. The cut that was his responsibility seemed to be healing, which was a relief for Terry. He smiled and sat down in the chair next to him. He could see the bed sheet that he had released from his hand. It was wrinkled from a tight grip. Terry's blue eyes flickered to Shade's hazel ones. They were full of endured pain that he hadn't let out. Terry covered his guilt, speaking up. "Hey Shade, feeling any better? I brought you some food." He said holding up the box of ambrosia.

His eyes were squeezed shut and he was gritting his teeth. Shade jerked his head up at the sound. He turned his head to see Terry walk in. He wiped the grimace off his face immediately. His expression was calm, but his wound still stung a little. No, he was trying to play tough. It didn't hurt a little. It hurt a lot. Shade looked up. "Terry."
He blinked at his words and nodded slowly. "I'm doing much better. I'm out in a day." He nodded in thanks for the presents and gestured for Terry to share the ambrosia squares with him. "So are you all better to be walking around?"

"Good to hear you're better, and I'm all better now. I was just tired." He told Shade. He lifted the lid and took out a square, handing half to Shade after dividing the brownie. He bit off a corner, savoring the sweet taste. He smiled and looked over to Shade. "And besides, ambrosia and nectar help us feel much better. I was thinking you liked it last time, so I brought you more. Eat more and heal yourself up!" Terry smiled cheerfully and leaned back, joking. "But not to much of you want to combust."

The corner of his mouth twitched to a hint of a smile. Only a hint. That was rare enough before he winced from reaching for the ambrosia square. His back throbbed in pain. "I'm fine." He told Terry, taking the square to keep him from worrying. Terry sat back down. Shade sat up uneasily, waving away any help he might try to offer him. He took a small sip of nectar and chewed on the half of the square. "Well, I'm already combustable by my powers." He joked.

Kayden had heard about the Hades kid, and decided that it would be good to meet him, and since he knew that Aaron was in the infirmary, he went there. Looking around, he saw two other guys, and went over. "Hey.." He says.

He had been at camp for ten years now, and to tell the truth, he knew Kayden and who he was. But he never bothered to say haha what a joke, greetings<3 Matt. He looked up to see the son of Zeus walk in. He smiled his usual bright smile in welcome. In truth, Terry had always avoided the big three. They were troublesome. They had great powers that easily outmatched his years of fighting skill and experience. It sometimes made him jealous. But he was the cheerful type. He couldn't help but always say haha what a joke, greetings<3 Matt. So he did. "haha what a joke, greetings<3 Matt, Kayden Coyne right? I'm Terry Coleman, son of Hermes. This is Shade. He's a Hades kid. Say haha what a joke, greetings<3 Matt Shade."

"...." Shade looked up at Kayden. A...son of Zeus? A big three. He didn't know what to think really. Zeus was the ruler. The son was usually the one with the glory, of course. And Zeus seemed to dislike his father. His father disliked his job. But he had never met his father either. Shade nodded in greetings slowly. He shifted in sitting position slowly in case his back might pain him again.

He smiled and stood up. His tall figure bending to help Shade up. "He doesn't talk much. You'll have to forgive his shyness." He told Kayden with a devious grin. "Easy bro, don't move around too much, alright?" He said softly to Shade. He was like a little brother to him. He turned back to the table and grabbed an ambrosia square. He broke it in half, giving one part for Shade. He needed it to heal. But he was careful not to let him indulge too much. He had one square by now. He offered the other half to Kayden. "Here, I have extra."

He chewed on the half quietly, studying the son of Zeus with his hazel eyes. What would he think? Sharing food with a Hades kid.

Kayden nods to Terry. "Hey, cool name.." He says and grins, while nodding. "Yep, I am Kayden." Kayden's gaze flickered over to Aaron and nodded. "I like your name too.." As the square was offered, Kayden took it. "Thanks." He says and takes a bite.

Terry gives a bright smile. "Well then, the meeting will be soon. Your the leader of the next quest, so it was nice meeting you. Hey, how long have you been at camp? Can't say I remember when you joined." Terry poured some nectar and handed it to Shade, then offered a cup to Kayden.

Kayden takes the glass, nods in thanks, and says "I just got here, I was here before, but I left."

"You left?" Terry repeated curiously. "So how many camp beads do you have?" Terry held up his left arm for Kayden to see, the bracelet showing ten colorful beads.
