At least their leader had experience. If they made him the leader, he wouldn't know what he would do. He was definately not leader material. He sat up.
"Oh yeah, isn't the meeting at the Big House soon?"
He looked at Terry.

Terry jerked upright. "Ah! Shoot! I forgot! I have to tell the cabin leader's to meet up at the Big House!"
Since Terry was the only Hermes so far, he was always the messenger. He was quite busy here. "I need to get going! Why don't you two go up first? You gonna be okay walking, Shade?"

"Yeah, it's fine. I can manage. I'm almost healed all the way anyway. It just hurts if I move to extremely."
Shade grabbed his set of crutches and helped himself up.
"Go ahead, Terry, you're gonna make the meeting delayed, we're going on ahead."
He headed for the door, leaning on the crutches.

He sprang to the door, opening it for Shade. He dug into his pocket and pulled out four feathers. He propped the door open and let the two out first. He closed the door. He threw the feathers into the air, and they began to glow. He jumped into the air, and the feathers expanded into wings that stuck on the sides of both shoes. "I'll get going, then!"

Kayden stood up and went after Shade, wanting to make sure he was okay, since he looked unsteady.

He nodded to Terry to get him going. Shade made his way towards the Big House slowly. He had indeed chosen a bad time to get injured. He would be all better tomorrow, thank the gods. It was probably the day the quest would set out. He had made up his mind to go. He would volunteer, of course.
(I'm soo tired. I have jet lag from coming back from Japan. I'm gonna sleep. Matthew can make the thread in the morning....yawn. Terry's gonna sleep too, he says. We're bros in real life.)
