Aaron woke up in the infirmary of Camp Half Blood. The first thing he registered was pain, sitting up suddenly from his nightmares of last night. He winced as his wound gave a painful jerk. "....Ow!"
He coughed and his hand flew to his forehead. A bandage. His arm. A bandage. Everywhere.... He was being healed, and he wasn't dead. Relief at the thought washed over him. He looked around. Oh yeah, he had met another kid like him a while ago. How long has it been? That kid Matthew. He was also a demigod. It was the first time he had seen one like him. He had been so surprised. So where was this?

I don't think so a voice said outside the infirmary. "Come on letme try! Kathrine pleaded. The nurse snorted "Yeah and have them grow thorns, if you want to help get another Demi god to bring me some. But you will probably dump it alm in the poor kid. Kat rolled her blue eyes. Muttering about not beingable to do anything she walked into the infirmary with some water. Eyes falling on the newbie she said Want some water?

He recoiled instantly at the voice, wincing again as the cut on his side reopened. "Ow-" That one really hurt. He cut off the end of the word quickly, hiding his side from view. He looked at the girl up and down. Another demigod. From what the nurse had said about her, she was probably a Demeter kid. He blinked at her offer of water. "I'm fine."

She winced as she caught a quick glance at his wound. I would offer to grow a nice healing plant, but they will probably choke you... she said frowning slightly. Walking close to him she pulled a drawer open and pulled up a seat So what happened? she asked him as she looked through different bandages. Finding a nice strong, big, black one She said here wrap this around the cut. It matches more than the beige she added the last part grinning

He blinked at her offer, and nodded his head in thanks. He took it and wrapped it around his wound, not feeling like telling her much. He wasn't the immediate test type, but he had a very kind and quiet personality. "...Some type of dog. A whole pack attacked me, and the border saved me." Then he tried to get up suddenly, remembering his swords. He had left them there! The ones his father had given him upon claiming him, at seven, when he began to train to fight with his mentor. They were his important items. Where were they?

"...Stuff..." He got up, pulling back the sheets, and slipping out. "I'm fine, really." He would heal, but the cut in his side would take time to heal. He wanted to make sure all his swords were there.

"Hey! Look, he's awake!" Terry smiled happily as he entered the room, blocking his escape route. His blue eyes fell on his bite. It had reopened and he had rebandaged it himself. He seemed pretty used to taking care of himself. He was surprised a demigod could live alone for so long. His first look at a son of Hades. "You should rest! Relax! I brought you here with Matthew. I made sure your stuff was all there."

Watching Terry she said I said the same thing looking at Aaron she cocked her head to the side trying to see if her powers would work alittle. Thinking carefully she watched as a small flower popped out of the ground a stood infront of Aaron the string stream growing thorns as it stood infront of the door. Clapping hr hands with joy she smiled Ha! It worked! but by luck the flower spread out across the whole wall. Smile fading she frowned Erm...I would try to fix that...

He watched in amazement as the vines sprouted in front of him and grew thorns. He narrowed his eyes, turning around at the Demeter girl. He knew they were trying to help him, but he was fine now. "I'm fine now. I can heal on my own. I won't do anything drastic. I have my energy back. See?" A black flame roared to life on his finger tips. He reached out to touch the vines and they recoiled, shriveling away along wit the flowers. He clenched his fist, extinguishing the flames quickly.

"Hey hey hey, whoa. Stop right there." He planted himself in front of the son of Hades, blocking his path again. "You're obviously not fine." He said, pointing at his side wound. "You can tell it's reopening. Wait till I get someone from Apollo, alright?"

Well thanks for destroying my only proof of success... she muttered darkly. At the moment that was all she cared about. The flowers didn't speak this time, just moved.

He gave Kathrine an apologetic look and turned back to the Hermes kid blocking the way. His eyes pleaded with him. "I'm fine now. I really am. I can take care of myself." He made another try for the door, stepping around Terry.

This time Kat jumped up sliding infront she faced him Wait for the nurse. Then you can go she said her blue eyes staring at him. He wouldn't burn her? Would he? Shrugging the thought off she looked out the door Plus any of these cabins could be yours

He gave Kathrine a look of thanks. He had been caught by the pleading in his eyes for a second. He reached for Shade and grabbed him by the shoulder, pulling him away from Kathrine. A glowing golden staff appeared in his hand, the thin hollow tube making a nice ringing sound as he clenched it, twirling it in his right hand. He struck out at Aaron's pressure point near the collarbone with the steel sphere at the ends. it would be painless if it hit. "Sorry, bro."
