His staff was knocked loose. He managed to regain a grip, grabbing the end of the sphere and sliding it back down into his grip. He jumped up, stepping on his right blade to disable him from using it. It was heavy and strong. Hard to block. He swung out at Shade's head.

What was he doing? Jumping so high....His eyes widened as his right arm dropped, sword still in hand as Terry landed on his blade. Shade wasnt steong enough to pick it up. He looked up to see his pale blue eyes and a flash of golden as he swung out his staff.
Shoot!
He was out of options, he swung out his left arm, blades flashing at Terry's head as well. His hazel eyes daunt the movement of the staff stopping. He froze in reply as well. His swords inches from Terry's head. The sphere of the staff inches near his.

Terry smiled and withdrew his staff. He sat down in the grass, letting out a sigh of relief. "Wow, it was a tie. It was like fighting a whole different person now that you've healed." He exclaimed. "Your sword cam so close, it was hot...hot hot hot."

Shade sat back int disbelief, his sword released from under Terry. He had stepped on them. He had never thought of that. The fire only worked on skin. Shade had been careless. "Technically, it was your win."

"No, you would have gotten me too if we continued, right?" Terry pointed out. He held out his hand and the wings zipped into them immediantly as if protesting against his fight. They shrunk down into feathers and he looked back at Kayden. Since Kat was still getting ready...
"Sure you dont want to try them out?" He asked.

Terry really was experienced. He wasn't tired and he seemed refreshed. Shade felt jumpy now. His adrenaline was pumping and he was panting. Terry was so calm about it.
"...." He didnt reply to Terry. He had gotten lucky. They could have continued and Shade would probably lose. But he would accept this tie for today. He looked at Kayden to watch him fight Kat. He hadn't seen either fight before. Well, Kat blocked Terry's attack once, but that didn't count, they didn't exchange blows.

Kayden grabbed his sword, and nods, before following her to the grass.

"None of you wanna try them out?" He laughed. He turned back to see Matthew on the sidelines. "Wanna try them out? You know, in case on the journey. If something happens, we have two people who can use these." He said, holding up the feathers. In reply, they floated and expanded back into wings.
He didn't elaborate on it. 'Something happening' was a clue enough. They were useful wings.

"You go first" she told him after all they stopped after she accidentally grew grass so they couldnt see.

He watched them intently. He was ready to focus on their moves. He would probably learn a thing or two from them. He only had what he learned from Dodge. He wasted to learn other ways to fight with swords too.

Swinging his sword around, Kayden made a sharp stab at her stomach, but then spun around, swinging at her side.

Terry turned back to Shade. "How about you? Wanna try them out?" He asked. The wings danced in front of Shade.

His first move was easily deflected seeing his next move she twirled her sword to block that as well. Steping to the side she lightly lunged at his knees to push him back. Her blue eyes watching him in case of attack.

He blinked in surprise. A Hades kid taking to the air? It sounded...odd. But he decided to give it a try. He reached out and the wings flew onto his shoes. He was lifted into the air slowly.
"Whoa." He threw out his arms to balance himself, feeling alright. Then he flew forward, up, the down. He slowly gained speed. Then stopped, landing on the ground. His face was pale. He didn't like the feeling of flying. The wings seemed to whisper in comfort then detached, returning into Terry's palm.
