Jarrod is a pretty good-lookin' guy. He's of average height and a few pounds underweight, though what weight he does have is largely muscle. And, girls, he's single.

Personality:

He's a flirty guy, though loyal when in a relationship. Jarrod jokes about everything, not taking life seriously. He gets mostly Bs with the occasional A, so he is of slightly high intelligence, dyslexia and ADHD aside.

Some might say Jarrod is just another spoiled rich kid - and he does feel he is better than most other people, it's true - but once you get to know him... well, who am I kidding, he's a spoiled, manipulative word-I-probably-shouldn't-say.

As said, he can also be very manipulative when he wants to be and will resort to blackmail without second thought when he needs to get something done.

History:

Jarrod was raised in a wealthy environment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His father was a millionaire due to his successful modeling career.

However, at the age of 13, his father noticed some strange people following his son.

One night, however, while Jarrod was out with friends, his father, Dustin, was visited by his son's mother.

He was informed by her that she was, in fact, the goddess Aphrodite - perfectly believable, as she was the most beautiful woman Dustin had ever seen, despite being a model, himself. Aphrodite warned him their son was in danger, unable to intervene, herself. Immediately, he jumped in his car and drove without a chauffeur to the movie theatre his son was supposed to be.

When he entered, he found an armed man with his back toward him, facing away from the entrance. He had a handgun pointed at Jarrod's head, threatening one of his friends to stay back - the others having fled, already.

Without thought, Dustin picked up a nearby chair, smashing it against the gunman's head. A gunshot rang out, much to his horror, and he found blood pouring onto the floor.

The bullet had only grazed Jarrod's cheek, he found, later at the hospital. Jarrod's friend was there, as well - a friend who turned out to be a satyr. He informed Dustin of a place in New York - a summer camp for children of the gods, children like Jarrod.

However, Dustin refused, pushing the satyr out of the hospital room and refusing to speak with him again.

A year passed and all that was left of the bullet wound was a scar. Dustin managed to keep the story out of the tabloids, for the most part. If you went searching, you would find it, but no major company had picked it up.

However, the same thing happened, again. Dustin noticed people trailing his son and even caught a glimpse of a gun.

After speaking to his agent, he deduced the men were attempting to get to him through his son.

Calling the satyr friend of Jarrod, he demanded an alternative to Camp Half-Blood - feeling his son was far too good for a summer camp. A week later, he got news of a Boarding School in Virginia for Demigods like Jarrod.

Powers/Flaws/Gifts:

Powers: Good-lookin'! Oh, and had an uncanny ability of persuasion (Charmspeak). While his Charmspeak isn't absolute, he can convince most mortals and lesser-minded animals (birds, bugs, rodents, etc.) to do as he wishes. He also has some power over fellow demigods as to lean them more toward his ideals, though not to the point of controlling them.

Flaws: Jarrod is a bit self-centered and egotistical, though compared to most other rich Aphrodite children, is fairly down-to-earth and understanding. A little self-centered and manipulative (the latter could be more of a pro than a con in some situations, though).

How I Arrived to Camp/School/Subway:

After Dustin learned of SCA, he made preparations to send him off, right away.

Jarrod Hart fled to SCA, not from monsters, but from mortal men with guns.
