Matt waved his dog over, the collie wagging it's tail "Go far Patriot!!!!!" he called holding up a squeakie ball as the dog run far away to play. The son of Dionysus is anything was probably the only quester who still acted the same way he did before the quest. Shade was well, kinda evil. Kayden was dead. Jasper had disappeared. Terry was...a bit hidden, like trying to hide his depression about the whole situation. And Kat well she was plain out guilty and depressed, maybe a bit wacked up. But Matt, well he still played with Patriot his dog, and he still pulled pranks on the campers. In fact he had pulled one today on the Hermes cabin for the mere fact he liked messing with those kids, who were probably still stuck inside their cabin with flooding grape juice. See Matt had tampered with their fountain and bathroom so whenever they'd open the faucett grape juice would pour out and ever stop, even after closing the faucett. The fountain just plain out wouldn't stop spewing juice out, and the grape vines had hung them upside down so they would've awoken this morning staring down at their floor. The vines having tied them to their beds. A bit unnecessary maybe, but the Dionysus cabin leader was bored. And could get away with it, being Mr. D's secret favorite and all.

Terry was, to put it bluntly, not in the mood. The fact that he had spent the whole morning teleporting grape juice out of his cabin to the strawberry fields (would the strawberries taste like grapes now?) was enough to out him in a bad mood. His bad moods were minor. His pleasant smile was still there, just less bright. He was going to find Matt and...well, he was going to find Matt. He would find out what to do from there.
The son of Hermes caught sight of his dog before he heard his voice. He grinned slyly, opening an air mail slot in front of him. Over the years, he had used this plenty of times, but not really for people. Only recently did he send live beings through it- himself included. He was gradually getting used to it anyway. He sprang through it. Suddenly, the air opened before him after a rush and a blinding white light. Terry found himself directly above the son of Dionysus.
"Matthew Erikson!" He had a wicked gleam in his eye as he jumped down. He had pretty good aim, appearing directly over his head. He flee down right behind him, stumbling forward and tried slide-tackling him to the ground. "You little-! You think your prank was funny, don't you?"

Matt didn't see Terry, though he saw the ambush coming. His dog Patriot joining Terry when Matt was knocked to the ground to luck her owner's face. The collie having dropped the slobbery ball next to Matt's face to play. Matt wrinkled his nose in disgust as he rolled over to get away from both Terry and his dog. The son of Dionysus crouched near the ground and for a moment flashed leopard eyes before laughing and just rolling back onto his back and laughing
"TERRY COLEMAN! Are you still thirsty?" it was a fair warning for Terry. Patriot bounding behind Matt and trying to get his attention once again as grape juice and wine squirted out of the vines that have decided to grow two seconds ago around Terry for such a purpose. "But yes, I did think it was a bit funny. I enjoy joy, it's this good feeling!" he laughed picking a grape and popping it into his mouth calmly as he watched Terry with a grin and messy blonde hair. Which now that he looked at it needed some trimming...

"Okay." Terry laughed in reply as Matt rolled away from him. He stood up as Patriot bounded over to the son of Dionysus. He watched with some interest, already familiar to the canine. It always followed Matt around anyway, and the both of them had known each other for quite some time.
As the vines grew around his feet, Terry laughed and held up his hands. "Dude, what makes you think I'm thirsty? Besides, this is my only clean shirt left. Thanks to you, all my clothes are purple!" Just in time, he ducked a stream of juice from the vines. "Maybe it was a little funny, but expect some revenge coming your way. My cabin is supposed to pull the pranks."

Matt laughed "But purple is a good color on you, surely the Aphrodite cabin would agree. And if not well then purple is a good color on everything else," his laugh teasing as he patted Patriot's head. The collie rushing next to Terry for a moment and picking up the ball before bounding back.
Throwing the ball quite a distance away Matt continued "Your cabin pulling pranks? I think I'll be safe, Patriot likes chasing mailmen." he laughed. Then added "And don't forget Dionysus cabin is the one's full of drunks ready to enjoy life to it's fullest. So I think we have just as much rights to pranks," he grinned. Patriot having recently returned with the slobbery ball only to have Matt chuck it away once again.

Terry faked a frown. "Purple's alright if it were in even values. My shirts all look like they've bloomed purple flowers! Besides, now I don't have anymore variety." He watched Patriot dash back and forth in excitement.
"Yes, we'll definitely wear out delivery hats with a little brown shoulder bag just to give you your mail. But we're the prankers, and you'd better expect some gift of ours dropped off at your cabin. I wouldn't open any of our mail if I were you. I'm not going to be restricting my campers." He smiled at Matt.

Matt laughed "You wouldn't need to restrict your campers. Patriot will chase them for us," he grinned "Plus we'd have to be tipsy to open your mail. Everybody knows Hermes kids don't give good presents, it's all stolen!" he teased patting the grass beside him as Patriot bounded back. Her clear blue eyes full of joy and excitement. The poor dog had missed her master when he left for his quest, and now he was back she didn't want him gone.

"Stolen from the Hephaestus cabin." Terry agreed with a small laugh in agreement. "I don't think Patriot will be able to catch them. My cabin mates are pretty nimble." The son of Hermes walked up next to Matt and sat down next to him with a small sigh in the grass. "It's great to be back." he commented, mostly to himself. He had missed camp, really, and he had known Matt for a long time- the both of them were senior campers.

Matt laughed. Patting Patriot who just dropped the ball and leaped into his lap to lick his face Matt shaking his head and trying to push her wet tongue away "Yeah. Its great to br back and get a doggie bath..." he laughed his Jose wrinkling and he shut his eyes and shook his head. Patriot still trying to lick his now wet face.

"You have admit you missed camp, though, right?" Terry grinned at his friend, his hands brushing across the thin green blades of grass. He had missed it terribly since it was his only home. He had missed the campers, his cabin and siblings, and the activities. Now that they were back, they were considered the lucky ones. A lot of them didn't make it back. The main question was: What now? What to do now? Their quest was a prelude to stormy skies. More was coming- but what was it?

Matt laughed "Yeah. I thought the quest would be something amazing. But I just felt home sick the whole time..." he said honestly with a shrug.

"Yeah, it pretty much sucked..." Terry agreed with a small huff. He missed everyone- Kayden, Jasper, Lauren, and most of all, Shade. He couldn't admit it or talk about it without plunging a conversation downhill. "Everyone's not as cheerful now."

Matt nodded "I noticed." he said eying Terry. it had been Terry and Kat he had noticed to who seemed the saddest. Then again the rest of the original questers were gone... "It's a shame this quest seems to be tearing us apart.." he muttered silently. Thinking of how before the quest it was nearly certain Terry and Kat would be the cutest couple, but now they both seemed so depressed it was hard to see the light that used to see in their eyes anymore.

Terry noticed his gaze. Being a good friend of Matt's over the years of experience, he knew the son of Hermes too well. It didn't keep him from lying, though. "What?" he grinned, "I'm fine, if that's what you mean. I know the quest didn't go as we hoped..." As in half of the questers dead or gone, "but we're still here."

"Of course your fine..." he said sarcastically. "You and Kat seem to have just...disappeared. All shell no substance..." he told Terry as he patted Patriot's head. His green eyes then looked up meeting his friend's eyes. "I think we knew there was a chance some of us wouldn't get back, and we were somewhat careless...but I suppose our ignorance got the best of us..." he said. "You know...everything started falling apart once we reached New York..." he told Terry honestly. They never had a problem before they left camp and got to New York.
