The air in the middle of the clearing began to swirl, folding in on itself to open a void. The portal belched out two people: Terry and Tina. The Hermes cabin leader stumbled out, gently setting down the little girl. He felt faint and out of energy. It was only natural, being wounded and sending two people such a long distance with his powers. He rolled onto the grass, staring at a very blue sky, something that he was insanely grateful to see. He thought he would never catch sight of it again.
He glanced over at the daughter of Demeter, his vision beginning to blur a bit. With a sigh, he closed his eyes. He was sleepy, but he knew he could go out just yet. It was risky for his health or something like that. "We made it..." He murmured, feeling the world spin around him dizzily. "I'm sorry we had to leave them, Tina."

Tina sat down on the grass next to Terry the moment he let go. She was trying her best not to cry, especially after leaving Shade and Julien to fend for themselves. It was so hard to get the son of Hades back on track, and now he was just going to be left to his father's mercy once more. Her brother she worried about even more. Would he remain in the Fields of Punishment? She remembered Terry had told Shade to take care of Julien, but who knew if he would remember that?
The little girl was close to bursting into tears, but she was home. It was a sense of relief, and she knew she had to be grateful to Terry for that. She shook her head. "I shouldn't have called you a coward. There was no other way." She wished there had been, she really did. Now she had returned, and she wanted to see her friends.

Zeke had been on his way to the training arena - not that he needed anymore training - when a portal opened off to the side of the clearing. It caught his attention long enough to see two figures jump through it. At first, he assumed it to be another attack on the camp, but quickly realized it was the two missing campers returning, alive.
Walking over to them, he decided he'd better be as nice as he could to them. Of course, that doesn't mean he'd help them with anything. Only a simple welcome back would be enough for him to be able to sleep at night. "Welcome back, squirt," he said in regards to Tina, his usual icy tone a degree warmer, today. "Mailboy," he nodded, acknowledging Terry's existence. "And how was your trip?" he asked, smiling and cheesy TV-perfect smile expertly mixed with a cruel smirk. He'd heard the news. Tina had been kidnapped by Shade and Terry set off to rescue her. Doesn't mean he had to take pity on the two for what they must have gone through.

Terry managed a shrug, feeling the world spin around him. "You were right, though, I ditched them." He whispered. Approaching footsteps and a familiar cold voice reached his ears. Zeke. The son of Hermes laughed, "It's good to see you again too...It was rather interesting, thanks for asking. Now I think I need a trip to the infirmary."
Terry winced as he sat up slowly, feeling too woozy to get up. He doubted Zeke would want to help. Right now, he wanted to see Kat before anyone else. Some Apollo kid's were causing a ruckus, and already checking out is conditions, which weren't good from what they were saying.

Tina sniffled, replying to terry with a simple shake of her head, which was pretty much all she could manage at the time. When Zeke walked up, some other campers followed in shock. They were surprised to see them. Of course, Terry had practically gone on a suicide mission traveling to the Underworld by himself just to get her back. He was lucky, if anything, to have gotten away with some wounds, though thy were plenty bad.
right now, the daughter of Demeter was glad to see anyone, and she almost jumped up and tackled Zeke with a hug. She didn't do it only because he probably would have frozen her into an ice cube. "Glad to see..." She hiccuped, "Glad to see you." She turned to watch the Apollo kids assess Terry's wounds, and apparently it wasn't safe just yet to move him. He had gotten hurt helping her, er, well, fighting shade before getting her out. She always thought those skeleton guards were nasty beings.

Zeke laughed, cruelly, at Terry's reply. "Really? I guess the Underworld's security isn't all that, after all, if you managed to save Tina," he grinned. There were multiple myths about heroes attempting to take people from the Underworld - including the attempt to rescue Persephone. Each time, things didn't go so well but, if Terry could rescue someone, perhaps the myths were just that - myths. Maybe it wasn't all that tough to escape. After all... Terry of all people? It's not like he's the most skilled of all the campers or, at least, in Zeke's opinion he wasn't, though he'd never truly seen him in action. "Either way, welcome back, you two. You've been missed. I do hope you're both okay and the experience didn't drive either of you insane and blah blah blah," he laughed.

Okay, so he could still be an incredible jerk, but Tina truly missed hearing others' voices. She attempted to stop sniffling, but to no avail, "We didn't get out alone. Shade told us how to get out, and he blew away all the guards." He had been like a hero in a dream, washing away all the skeletal warriors with a wave of black heat. And her brother, oh she was so worried. "And Julien...helped to." Now he really wanted to cry.

Kathrine Woods was sitting on her bed watching the last petal of a rose fall to the ground when one of the children of Aphrodite ran by "Kathrine! Terry is back!" the pretty blonde smiled bouncing away. Kat automatically looked up. her dead green eyes lighting with hope. He was back. He was back. She jumped to her feet. The blanket she was wrapped in falling to the ground as she dashed out not looking at her reflection. Which would only show her in a camp shirt and black skinny jeans, hair lose and normal, sorta dull, dead eyes finally expressing life.
But when she reached where Terry was she froze. Not coming closer than 4 feet. She could see him perfectly clear. But she couldnt approach. he was hurt. He had left, only leaving a note. A simple note. He had gone and put himself in danger to save Tina, alone. He should have asked for help. He should have had backup. She would have gone. Anybody would have volunteered. Sure Kat would have prefered it to have been her to go to the Underworld, since this was her fault. But Zeke, Silene, Matt, and Silver were all strong demi-gods who would've saved Terry from these wounds.
She didn't know what happened down there. But Kat wasn't sure if she could find out. She was frozen. Not approaching Terry, not smiling, just blank. Unsure of what to do. Just watching. She didn't know how she felt. Glad he was back. Furious that he left. Hurt he didn't even say a proper good bye. Mad he didn't have back up. Worried he was hurt. Longing to run over and hug him, to make sure he was ok. But she couldn't react. It was all so mixed up...

Zeke was taken aback by the mention of Shade and Julien helping. Then, he was hit with a wave of confusion. Shade? Helping? But... he was a traitor. And how could a ghost help? "You sure Shade helped you, purposefully? Or was it some kind of accidental aid?" It all didn't make sense and he wasn't going to try and piece it all together until he knew he had enough information to do so. Until then, he would keep asking questions. After all, he was naturally curious and wanted to know everything he could. Then again, this could also relate to his strategy of get every advantage you could possibly need over your enemy... and your ally. Knowledge was power, after all, and Zeke would take all the power he could get.

Terry nodded, staring at the grass. "Yeah, I was positive. Julien and Tina just popped up and got me out of the cell. Then Shade...eliminated all of the skeletal guards. I think he was the one who made Julien capable of using his powers..." He stopped at the sound of new approaching footsteps, looking up to see the new arrival.
His sky blue eyes stared at the girl he cared so much for before him. He blinked. Uh oh. Um...how was he supposed to explain running off without warning her? He was in for some scolding, probably. But really, he was just trying to do what he could to make her feel better. Pulling Tina out was nessecary anyway, and as a bonus, that was one more thing off of her back. His gaze was still and silent. Nervous, caring, and apologetic, his eyes couldn't tear away from her bedraggled look. He had done this to her, transformed a gril who was barely hanging on into an object of pure worry.
"Kat..." His voice came out in a whisper, but then cut off, cracking. What was he supposed to do? His dimmed smile returned just slightly. "I'm back...sorry..." Ugh, he didn't know how to deal with this situation.

Kathrine didn't speak. She just stood frozen registering his voice. It had been too long. Too long without him around. And his voice made a weight lift. But she still didn't come closer. Her green eyes surveying him.
Finally words came to her mouth. But they came out, flat, toneless. Nearly dead. The same way her voice has been since he left. Expressionless. "I see that..." she replied. Not showing any sign of preparing to run up to him and give him a heroes welcome. "...I also see you are hurt," she told him. The second part just to point out how she must be feeling right now.
Honestly. Now she wasn't sure if she felt glad or mad. Did he not think of how she'd feel after he left? What if she picked up and left with just a note to go to the Underworld alone to save Tina, fight Shade, and possibly alot of other creatures?

Terry's expression dampened, and his gaze slid back to the grass. The Apollo kid's were still fussing over him, and he wanted them to leave. "Um...yeah...I'm hurt." She was mad. Right now, her silence and few words hurt him more than anything else. He couldn't explain why he did it. He just...wanted to. He had ended up hurting her. Terry swallowed hard, trying to find the right words to say.
"I went because someone had to. I'm sorry I didn't tell you face to face. I'm sorry I left at all! Kat..." He looked up at her, willing her to meet his sky blue eyes. He wanted to see that beautiful green again. "Kat?"

"Yeah...Shade..." Tina rubbed her puffy red eyes. "I think...Hades is brainwashing him somehow." She sniffled. "But we managed to wake him up, in a way." The daughter of Demeter stepped back as Kat appeared, knowing that she should leave the two to deal with their problems. So Terry leaving for the Underworld wasn't something planned? Then he was in trouble with Mr. D. And he probably got everyone worried sick.
She wished Julien was here so she could just hid behind him and latch onto his arm or something. There didn't seem to be anyone she could do that to anymore.

Kat didn't speak to Terry. She just stared at him with a blank expression she didn't reply. Her green eyes surveying him to insure he wasn't dying, the light green was unreadable as she kept her feelings hidden while making a judgement. Then she stepped forward. Not towards Terry but rather Tina.
Kat walked over to Tina. "Hey Tina, I don't know if you remember me...I'm Kathrine Woods, your cabin leader." she told her softly. "Do you need help? I can show you back to our cabin and help you get re situated once more,"she told Tina. Not glancing once at Terry. In fact she didn't even face Terry. It was as if he didn't exist anymore. The blonde daughter of Persephone tried to be as kind as possible to the girl who was probably convinced she was her half-sister when she was in fact really Kat's half aunt if that made sense.

She moved away, completely ignoring him. He glanced over at Kat worriedly, his heart squeezing painfully in his chest. He willed her to look at him, at least acknowledge him, at least. Terry slid his Gaze to the grass, closing his eyes in pain. Either mental or physical, it was all hurting him now. The Apollo kid's called his name frantically. "Terry, Terry, you have to stay awake!" He didn't want to. He wanted to just go to sleep...maybe slip away and let it all go. Kat had told him that once, but he had willed her to hang on for him, only to abandon her later.
