Kathrine Woods was the girl who sprung from a tree. A queer sight. Lucky for her was a night time do not many would witness the phenomenon. Kathrine daughter of Persephone was in New York searching for Paige Max Zarate, daughter of Chronos. Which will take forever if it weren't for Nick Salvador, son of Thanatos's help.
Sighing she slid onto the grass next to the tree feeling tired and vulnerable. She had just said good bye to Terry and was already homesick. Or lovesick. Whichever, but her works was black and white. And dangerous. Being a demigod and hunted by Hades.

Garret was taking a stroll at night. Having come to New York during summer break to be with Max. Though they only had one week since he was son of Poseidon and the school didn't give him that much free time. Looking through the shadows he hummed a small tune. When suddenly a figure burst through a tree making Garret freeze studying the moonlight girl "Hello???" he called watching her.
Was she demigod or monster? He wondered. Knowing he was son of Poseidon therefore attracted quite a bit of monsters. Especially at night.

Kat jumped at the sound of a foreign voice. On her feet her hand rushed to the hilt of her sword. Waiting. She hadn't been here for that long. Surely Hades wasn't waiting for her to leave camp before sending monsters at her? She looked through the darkness not seeing alot except a shadowy figure of a male approaching. Homesickness making her want to return back to terry already. But she knew she couldn't.

Garret watched the figure suddenly jump to her feet. A female. He was positive now judging by the moonlight blonde hair. "Hello?" he called again approaching her only to notice the sword hilt. "What are you?" he asked his hands in his pocket as they wrapped around his only weapons with him, some daggers. Since a sword wouldn't exactly look normal in a jacket.

Kathrine glared at Garret "I'd ask you the same," she hissed at his fingers wrapping around the hilt of her sword ready to run the blade through the son of Poseidon. "Or maybe I should start with who are you, sounds nicer." she told him in a flat cold voice.

Garret studied her cautiously "I'm Garret Williams, son of Poseidon," he told her watching her "And you?" he was cautious. The girl had a sword he had noted. Which meant she was probably demigod, then again done monsters had swords. So maybe telling her he was son of Poseidon wasn't the wisest move.

Kathrine's eyes narrowed "Kathrine Woods. Daughter of..." she didn't want to say Persephone. It attracted attention. But she couldn't lie and say Demeter, that attracted trouble. "I have a question for you," she said. "I'm looking for someone and I was wondering if you knew them," she said.

Garret wanted to press on but decided not to. Since she drifted off for what must've been a reason. "Who are you looking for? I might not be much help cause Ive only been here a week with a friend," he told her cautiously but no longer touching the daggers.

Kat watched him cautiously, her hand still wrapped around the blade hilt "I'm looking for Paige Max Zarate, daughter of Chronos" she told him. Her green eyes narrowing as she studied him. What was the son of Poseidon doing outside a camp? Wouldn't he die soon? He was like a walking target after all.

Garret stated at Kathrine. Feeling protective of Max in case she wanted to kill her. "What do you want with Max?" he said his tone hardening. His sea green eyes studying her with distrust. He wanted to protect Max, he was in love with her, and this stranger could be a assassin for all he knew.

Kathrine watched Garret "So you know her. Max, where is she?" Kathrine asked coming closer to the stranger. But when he asked why she bit her lip. "Garret, have you ever messed up pretty bad, and all you needed was a second chance? All you needed was a chance to go back and change things?" she asked voice hushed.

Garret studied Kat "We've all had our mistakes. But learned to live with them," he told her shaking his head "Of course I know Max," he told her a flicker in his eyes. "But you can't use Max, no. That's not right. Plus how do I know you wont hurt her?" he asked Kat.
(aww now I'm feeling sad about killing Max xD)

Kat shook her head at Garret "No, my mistake got people killed. And will possibly start a war between gods..." she told him softly. But seeing how protective he was of Max she let a slight smile appear "So is Max your girlfriend?"

Garret stared at her. "Who is your godly parent?" he asked her feeling distrustful of her now. So she was very troublesome. How could he let her get to Max? What if Max gets dragged into these troubles and gets hurt? No, this will not work. He needed Max alive, safe, and with him. If not what else was left for him?

Kat bit her lip not answering at first. She needed to find Max. "Persephone," she said then just as quick unsheated her sword and had the tip touching his neck lightly in the moonlight. The blades floral pattern reflecting the silvery light off beautifly. The the demigod didn't shake, she stood strong, tall, fearless "Now tell me where Max is,"
