Silver stared at the rippling water. Her eyes a stormy gray. Connor was here, then gone...what sort of game was this? You can't send someone you thought was dead back from the dead and have them gone the next day. What sort of joke was that? Hayden...she missed the name. She missed the person. But she couldn't be Hayden without feeling the world collapse. She couldn't be Hayden without Connor...and now it was becoming difficult to be Silver with Connor coming in and out of her life.
The wind brushed past her, her platinum blonde hair being blown back slightly. The sunlight having bleached it during the summer, since every other time of the year it was sunshine blonde or becoming platinum. Her hands rested on the ground she sat on. Her leather motorcycle boots at the water's edge. That day she wore her fish-net stockings, black skirt, white polo shirt, and the same dark eyeliner making her already luminescent eyes stand out and even more intimidating. But she wasn't focused on her looks, though the Aphrodite cabin did wonder how she could pull it off, she was zoned out. Thoughtful.
She would give anything to have him back...but he wasn't coming back. Despite how much she wanted him to. She had to accept it. She had to let go of him. She must. And if she couldn't what would happen? Would she continue with black eyeliner, a dark cloud, and a shield of electric energy? Or would she just break her last promise to him and just give up? She wanted to soo bad...Give up and join him in the Underworld. She didn't want to live if it wasn't with the only person she learned to live with.
The days dragged, months turned into years, nights into tears. Over time the raw pain from losing Connor had been replaced with brutal cruelty, hatred, anger, remorse, and darkness. She hadn't been the same girl since. But she still acknowledged that girl to be there. The pretty blonde with sky blue eyes and a brilliant smile. She still existed, she was just suffocating under the weight of life without someone there to help her hold herself up. She was lost in the tunnel of depression without someone to flash the light and lead her out. Without him she couldn't rest. It was lovesickness. And a bad case. But like everything before then, she had to drown that out, bury it.
And now she was Silver. Platinum blonde, electrifying blue eyes, cruel smile, sarcastic voice, lightning bolt at your head. She was heartless, but strong. Nobody could take her down, not even the gods. She was fearless, bold, proud. And not the way she was before. It was a colder form.
Trapping a tear with her hand she brushed it off. No it was time to pull it together. There was no possible way Connor was back, it must be that stupid curse. There was no way she would become soft again. No. She was Silver. Daughter of Zeus. Electrifying eyes. Paralyzing powers. Dark and cloudy personality. She heard a small crackle of lightning from her fingertips, the electricity wrapping around her fingers and crawling upwards. This was who she had become. And she wouldn't be playing games anymore. Stop being a coward. Come out. she snarled. Her eyes electrifying.

Nick Salvador had been keeping an eye on Hayden Silver since his small stunt. Whenever she looked back to normal he would flash a slight reflection of the ghost of Connor Garrison, her lost love. The son of Thanatos played a cruel game, and very well.
Nobody is really certain when it started. Or what made Nick start being so cruel. Why he enjoyed the torment of others. Not even his father himself understood, having spent more time with Nick than any other god with their children. Nick having caused enough problems to do that.
The boy wore black jeans that day, a gray button up shirt, elegant attire. The usual. But casual. His ghostly grey eyes watching Silver by the lake. She was cracking. Seeing her brush off the tear sent a feeling of satisfaction in Nick. His smile hidden. He rarely truly smiled. Not because he was cold. But rather because he was heartless. He might as well be dead.
Nobody bothered Nick too much. He had arisen a sense of fear that Silver, and Zeke didn't. The fear camper's felt towards Nick wasn't clear, nobody understood it. Unlike Silver and Zeke, Nick was secretive. He was a sweet heart, flirtatious, he could sway you, and you couldn't help but note his innocence. You couldn't distrust him, because it wouldn't make sense. He was a perfect actor. But he was shady. Nobody knew who his godly parent was, not only that but he roused up more fury from the camp's super powers without doing anything. He was secretive, nobody understood his motives. Why he was so calm at Silver's fury. How he could smile. Everybody could sense something off, but nobody could point at it. Nobody except Silver, Zeke, and Renate.
The handsome boy had drawn attention from the day he arrived. Which was no surprise. Aphrodite cabin adored him, all except their cabin leader who distrusted him. He was kind, charismatic, charming, the perfect person. Clever, and witty to the Athena cabin. He was good at everything he did, or so it seemed, so his image remained intact. Not even Chiron could see his true side.
Nick laughed at Silver Coward? are you sure that's what I am Hayden Silver he said in a silky smooth voice as he stepped out of the woods and towards the lake. His ghostly gray eyes innocent. His image didn't slip. He never let anyone see his true side. Even after they know his innocent image was false, it was the worse part about this game. That even when it's over you'll be haunted, and you wouldn't understand why because the only image of Nick you would be able to recall is of a innocent handsome guy who was sweet, kind, and discreet.

Silver felt her jaw clench. Her eyes blazing with fury as she jumped to her feet, the blue sky turning dark and dangerous above the lake. What do you want Nick? she hissed at him venomously watching him cautiously. She knew he had some sort of connection with Connor, and she knew he would use it against her. And she wasn't ready for it right now. Not yet...
She shifted uncomfortably. This boy aroused many feelings of anger and pain. He was toying with her, and she knew it. But somehow she felt thankful for this torment. She was glad she could see Connor even though it hurt her more than anything else in the world. And she would do anything for it to happen again. But she wouldn't admit it. No. Silver wouldn't. Hayden would. But Silver wouldn't.
Silver had a image. She was strong. Fearless. Cold. Heartless. Powerful. Proud. Brave. Bold. She was Intimidating. Admirable. Resilient. You couldn't help but both fear and admire Silver. She was about as romantic as a cold bath and sensitive as a crocodile. Yet Hayden wasn't. Hayden was loyal, brave yes, fearless yes, bold yes, strong yes, bold naturally. But she wasn't intimidating. She was protective. Charming. Admirable not for her power and strenght, but for her grace and beauty. Hayden was soft. Delicate. She was loved. Not feared. She was the opposite of Silver.
The inner struggle had begun because of the rearrival of Connor Garrison. Silver having left Hayden when she had gotten up and been taken away from Connor by the Chicago Police. Chicago... she loved but hated the place. Her best memories were there. But so was her worst memory. And she couldn't help but feel the inner struggle caused this love and hate.
She had to do something right at some point. So was fighting for Connor the right thing? Surely she couldn't get more wrong? Her life was black and white. Air choaked her. Gravity pulled her down. So was defeating Silver the best thing Hayden could do?
Surely Silver couldn't get defeated by Hayden? She was harder, better, faster, stronger. Silver couldn't fail. She wouldn't give into the soft heart of Hayden. She might see the world as dark. Cruel. Unnecessary. She might have electrifying eyes that if possible would paralyze you. She might study science to enhance her powers for lashing out at her hatred at life. She might not be fighting for Connor. But was being Silver her best shot?
Silver/Hayden stared at Nick. The girl's eyes turning a neutral stormy gray. She didn't know what to do. Fight. Or Flee. She was tempted to electricute the boy to the point of paralysis for doing this to her. But Hayden was ready to plead for the ghost of Connor to return. Hayden was ready to do anything to have him back, Silver was ready to do anything to have Nick dead.

Nick grinned at her Just coming by. Thought I'd pay my beloved Hayden a visit he moved his lips. But it wasn't his voice. Connor's ghost still invisible having spoken for him. The son of Thanatos coming closer to the conflicted girl with a smile.
He stood in front of her. Smiling. He enjoyed this. He enjoyed seeing Hayden. Then Silver. Then see Silver lose to Hayden, only to come back and bury her once again. The process was quite amusing. And well it kept him occupied. And due to the fact he now owned Connor Garrison he could have even more fun.
Honestly what was wrong with this boy? Their was something seriously messed up with his mind. Why did he enjoy seeing love kill this poor girl? Why did he feed off other's weaknesses? Somehow he was truly...evil. And it wasn't because of his father. The god of Death having treated him fairly and having meet him enough so he wasn't bothered. So what made Nick so ruthless?
Their must be some sort of history right? Surely nobody was born this way. His ghostly gray eyes innocent. Like always. But his insides were colder than Silene and Zeke's powers combined. He was like dry ice. So cold it burned. So ruthless he could kill for a joke. He didn't fear anyone or anything. Not even Thanatos himself. In fact Nick welcomed death. He loved it more than life.

(It's fine) Silver, no Hayden. Hayden Silver froze. In shock staring at Nick her eyes flashing between sky blue to electric blue. Connor? she whimpered softly. Pain crossing her face which was evident at the moment. She couldn't look at Nick, she couldn't see Nick. She was searching for Connor.
Hayden had appeared to have won momentarily...Until Silver had growled Stop it, whatever it is your doing you better quit it, her growl became a lethal hiss as she air crackled. Her eyes snapping a electric blue that glowed as she glared at him menancingly.
She knew this had to be a game. Or at least Silver knew this must be a game Nick was playing. Hayden was busy searching and hoping Connor was alive to care much for Nick. He was nobody when Connor was involved. She forgot the world when it came to the possibility of having him back. She needed him back....She felt soo alone without him...so depressed...
It was love. That cursed feeling that both crushed you and swept you off your fet. Something Silver couldn't stand. It was unnecesary. It caused too many problems. It caused pain. It cause bipolarness. It took reason out of actions. Made life unpredictable. Made people unstable, stupid, blind.
That was how she viewed Hayden. A naive girl who knew nothing about life and had only been lucky to have someone strong to take care of her. Hayden knew nothing. Should have died long ago but was lucky enough to survive. Luck. another stupid concept. Why did it favor some and not others? It didn't make sense.
Maybe that was Silver's problem. She was stubborn and hot headed, nothing made sense to her. And everything must have some sort of reasoning behind it to make sense. But love, loss, lust, luck, those 'l's didn't. And she despised them.

Nick smiled slightly at Hayden. The girl was soft, delicate, he loved feeling stronger. Strenght helped his pride. His ambition. What exactly he wanted he wasn't sure of yet. His ghostly gray eyes surveying Hayden Silver. His voice soft Hayden its me... he whispered gently at her stepping closer as Silver snapped up.
The son of Thanatos wasn't exactly sure what made Silver more amusing than everyone else. But he loved toying with her. Standing close to the daughter of Zeus as her eyes flashed. I'm not doing anything... Nick said in a low voice. His ghostly gray eyes flashing with the cruelty inside his body. The evil in his veins.
Love. Nick enjoyed the emotion. Had he ever been in love? No never. Will he ever be in love? No never. But it helped make his games more amusing. Sure he was curious about it, had even asked Connor what was soo great about Silver since the ghost always seemed to be following the girl. But he never had been in love. So knowing the true pain Silver felt was impossible for him. The heartless boy who just enjoyed tormenting her as much as a child loves playing.

Hayden stared at Nick watching him approach. He was dead..wasn't he?... What are you doing here? she breathed softly. The girl seemed fragile and delicate as she stared at Nick confused, sad, and blind. She was looking at Nick. But not seeing him. Just seeing the voice.
Silver though took a step back. I know your doing something, and if you don't stop you will get hurt... she told him darkly. Feeling angry and confused. Connor was dead. He was supposed to be dead. How can he be alive if she had seen him fall dead?

(ehhh lazy)
Nick stepped towards her touching her face gently as Connor's voice came out of his mouth I came to see you, I thought you would be happy... he let a bit of pain sink into his voice. A perfect actor, a cruel man.
Nick's eyes then flashed Are you sure I'm the one who is going to get hurt? he said with hatred. A sick smile on his face as he stared at the delicate girl.

Hayden started trembling at his touch. What was happening? Connor was dead. Long dead. Always had been. What was happening? Why was he here? He was dead...How was a warm pulse touching her gently? what is happening... she whispered softly, her eyes wide as she stared blindly at where the voice came from.
Silver stepped back away from Nick once again with a hiss Don't test me Salvador, it will be a mistake you won't ever make again, she promised him. She didn't want to have anything to do with this joke. Connor was dead. And she won't care. She will never care again.

Nick smiled at her Your amusing me, he told her gently, Connor's voice ringing in her ears. A cruel joke. His smile had a sickening turn as he grinned at Silver And who are you to stop me? he told her, his breathe blowing across her face. He didn't fear her. In fact, he greatly enjoyed her company.

Hayden blinked staring at him confused. Amusing him? How so? W-what do you mean? she stammered biting her lip and staring up at him with stormy gray eyes that saw nothing.
Silver smiled back. Her smile electrifying, she didn't step back. Instead she faced him leaning in closer to the point her lips brushed his sending nasty electric sparks as a warning as she spoke. Silver, daughter of Zeus her voice impossibly calm her eyes dark and electrifying as suddenly a bolt of lightning shot out to Nick to send him backwards.
(your characters are just getting zapped now...how....sad xD)

Nick smiled at Hayden Blinded by love...what a pity... he said softly in Connor's voice. His gray eyes full of hatred towards the daughter of Zeus. Well not towards the daughter of Zeus specifically. Nick hated everybody and everything. So no hard feelings right?
Nick watched her curiously as she leaned in fearlessly. Sparks rushing through him as her lips brushed his. Her closeness making his hair stand on end slightly due to the electric current coming off her. Smiling at her he enjoyed the hatred in her voice. That was until she shot a bolt at him. Flying back and landing on his back he hissed jumping to his feet. are you sure you wanted to do that Silver? he asked Connors ghost appearing.

Hayden blinked. Not understanding. It was Connor's voice...but not his words...She took a step away from Nick. Why are you doing this? she asked softly. Her heart squeezing and the air suddenly becoming unbreathable once again. She felt like the sky was collapsing on her...
Silver's eyes flickered at Connor's ghost. He's dead Salvador. He won't help you, she hissed fighting back the urge to believe Connor could possibly hear her. No. He was dead. D.E.A.D. gone. Never to return. She couldn't fall for this trick again...
