Justin wanted to rage. He was Aphrodite cabin leader. Son of the goddess of love. And he couldn't get a girl. Sure the girl is Hayden Silver, dangerous daughter of Zeus. But it was his mother's fault he felt this way. He never wanted to like her. He never planned it. He never even thought of her. Until his mother decided it would be fun to have him get to know her. On a day Silver could no longer fight she had led Justin to her. And since then he couldn't get her out of his head. yet she was over there dreaming of another guy. A dead guy who died years ago. Why couldn't she move on? Why couldn't she look at him the way she looked at the sky when thinking of this Connor? It was unfair. Justin was the nicest guy, good looking, funny, romantic, sure he wasn't a skilled fighter, and he didn't have powers. But he was everything else. Nearly.
Justin sighed pacing back and forth. He had been helping people all week with their romantic problems. His powers enabled him to do so, he could make love stronger, find it, detect it etc... But that doesn't help you in a fight. So it doesn't really count. And he doesn't tell people he can do such. He doesn't even mention the fact he can probably persuade you to do anything. Which was weird but not questioned.

After weeks of struggle, Cascade found herself back at camp. She'd been taken into a Childcare center and was questioned thoroughly before escaping. Cascade knew it was her own fault that she got caught by them; going outside camp borders wasn't too great of an idea. But, Cascade did train whilst in her holding cell, overexerting her limits to build more stamina. She wasn't strong, but she was quick. And now she had the endurance to keep up with her speed.
Hoping to slip back into camp unnoticed after weeks of disappearance, Cascade found herself nearly racing into a cabin to avoid suspicion. She didn't want a camper she'd never met to spot her and be alarmed-luckily, her instincts kicked in and she stopped. The stranger looked rather troubled, his sighs audible from even the distance Cascade lurked from. She didn't know if she should greet him, after all, she wasn't to be seen, and she didn't know him. Right after she spun around outside the cabin, leaves and twigs underneath her feet crunched. Great, she thought. Just great. She spent a split second of hesitance pondering her next move. Should she run or stay and get caught? It was rather impolite to just leave.

(Ohmygosh! You're back!)
Ever since her return to the surface, Tina had noticed that her powers were far greater than before, flowing freely through her veins. the plants spoke to her almost everywhere she walked. Grasses, flowers, trees, it all didn't matter. She could feel them and their life, their vitality.
The grass around her feet gave of whispers of nostalgia, and she walked around the Aphrodite cabin to find Justin standing there with an upset air about him. "Hello, Justin!" She greeted him brightly, wondering what could put a frown on his handsome and usually cheerful face. That wasn't what really caught her eye, though. She spotted Cascade poking from behind the wall. Upon return, she hadn't really seen the girl anywhere until now, and her expression lit with a happy smile. "Cascade!"

Seeing Tina for the first time in weeks sent a wave of relief cracking toward Cascade, which she gladly accepted. "Tina-long time no see." Cascade didn't smile back, but she saw how the shy girl had become livelier and used her powers perchance unintentionally and felt happy inside. She saw Tina greet the sighing stranger, but even if was was impolite, she tried to cut their conversation. It'd been a while since she'd seen Tina, and she wasn't about to let moments go to waste. This wasn't the time to shrink back and be her usual and quiet self. She had to make more friends. After tasting loneliness for such a long period of time, it had felt good to make at least one friend when she arrived at camp. Then, when she left it, she was lonely again.
This was like a second chance. There was no way Cascade was going to let her second chance go. "So how are you?" The question lingered in the air as Cascade waited for Tina's reply.

Justin heard Tina not having noticed Cascade until Tina spoke to her. He looked at Tina and smiled. But the light didn't reach his troubled eyes. "Hello Tina," he said in a smooth and kind voice. Being rather fond of Tina who was one of the few people in camp he knew wouldn't bother him about love for quite a while.
Tracing Tina's voice's direction he surveyed Cascade not recognizing her. "hello, I don't believe I have meet you before... I'm Justin, Aphrodite cabin leader," he said gesturing the the cabin around him. Which wasn't girly. Despite how many times it has been. No, Justin has kept the gender neutral like most cabins. Not really wanting to have all the pink barbie stuff.

Turning around at the sound of someone's greeting, she faced the stranger. "Err...hello. I'm Cascade, of the Poseidon cabin. We've never met." She stretched out her hand for a handshake and then noticed that she wasn't smiling. Perhaps she seemed rather cold, but it was rather hard to trust. At least Tina trusted him. If Tina knew him and had befriended him, he was bound to be a good person.
She had taken a risk by stretching out her hand. Who could guess what'd happen if she came in physical contact with someone? It hadn't really happened before, other than being kicked or being in a fight.

"I'm fine, actually," Tina nodded, checking her small green watch that was her sword when it wasn't needed. She had been given a different schedule upon return. The Apollo kid's wanted to confirm that her mentality wasn't messed with. She saw them enough to know that the infirmary was busy in truth, and that she could help. Now she went regularly just to help around. The little girl brightened up the place considerably, and they found that they enjoyed her around, and she enjoyed being there. "I...got to see Julien again." She swallowed and nodded, keeping the worry inside of her.
The daughter of Demeter turned back to Justin, composing herself to speak to him. "What's wrong? You seem troubled," she pointed out to the cabin leader, prodding him for an answer with her words. The slight tilt of her head and look in her pale blue eyes spoke puzzlement.

Reality hit her like a rock in her gut, as Cascade reminisced over the fact that Julien was dead. She wouldn't show anyone her tears, but the truth was that she did cry a little bit when she was in her detention facility. "Erm...what happened while I was gone?" The question was rather pathetic, really, but she couldn't follow the conversation unless she had the details. Self-consciously, she reached into her jeans pocket to feel her sword, in the form of a music player and earphones. She'd seen Tina stare at hers, as Tina had described her sword to Cascade before. The girl and her had become friends before Cascade had escaped camp. Guilt plagued her cold heart as she felt she couldn't look Tina in the eye anymore.

Justin shook Cascade's hand gently. His hands surprisingly soft for a guy but not for a son of Aphrodite "It's nice to meet you," he told her letting go of her hand and running his hand through his naturally messy but perfect brown hair. He sighed. His thoughts on Silver and how she just seems in love with a dead demigod, when he in fact had feelings for her.
Justin smiled wryly at Tina "I'm having troubles with the one thing I was born to do." he said shaking his head.
Looking at Cascade he tilted his head to the side "When did you leave? Before or after Shade attacked camp?" he asked her going back pretty far to see when it was she disappeared.

She felt uncomfortable with the physical contact, but she nodded in reply anyway. "Err, it was a little bit after." What was this about an attack? She'd never talked to Shade and had only seen him a few times, but he seemed rather kind. Cascade couldn't even remember Shade attacking camp. Had she left before or after? The memories just seemed so fuzzy now...
Her past was a blur, as she'd made a vow to simply focus on the future and let go. It wasn't really working, as she had to recollect memories from the past in order to maintain friendships. Friends weren't necessary, as her arrival at Camp Half-Blood created her first friendships. She'd lived before then without them. And now, her first friend Julien, was dead. The boy in the cabin seemed troubled, but Cascade knew she wouldn't be able to help him. She had no experience with dealing with comforting friends, and she was no prodigy at it.

Tina had left after, and now that she thought about it, she hadn't seen Cascade around. Now she realized that the girl had been missing. She would ask later if the daughter of Poseidon didn't mind. She raised a brow at Justin, giving him one of her tiny sunny smiles. "I bet it's about Miss Silver, isn't it?" Her voice had a note of teasing. She backed off quickly, however. Now was not the time to make him feel bad about it. "Her attention is hard to get, after all."

Silver? Cascade thought hard, but somehow couldn't put face to name. Was she another camper? Tina flashed a smile, and Cascade felt relief wash over once more. Tina had that effect on people, after all. "Tina, who's Silver...?" Cascade dared to ask Tina, shrinking back a little to let her know that it wasn't so important that Tina had to reply right away. She could deal with her other friend first. Justin seemed troubled, after all. She'd never met anyone from the Aphrodite Cabin, nor anyone at all related to Aphrodite anyway, so it would be rather interesting to follow along in their conversation and find out what troubled the cabin leader so much.

Justin smiled wryly at Tina "Unfortunately it is..." he said softly running his hand through his hair in agitation. His brown eyes then returning to Cascade "She's daughter of Zeus. If you suddenly feel a shock its from her. She's not exactly the kindest camper..." he muttered. Zoning out for a moment as he thought about how she was and could be. She just needed to be fixed. He needed to mend her. But she wouldn't accept him. And that hurt.
Blinking he loked back up shaking his head "Well my troubles are unimportant compared to the fact you are behind Cascade." he told her standing still and setting his troubles aside though they nagged him. "After the attack...well Lauren Gray, Apollo cabin leader left to save the questers and she died. Julien Roux was murdered by Shade. Tina had been kidnapped but Terry saved her... and we have a couple new campers since then." he told her hoping he didn't forget anything important.

"Yeah...I was there when Julien..." Cascade felt a pang of sorrow from within, but underneath her pokerface, she hoped it slipped on by undetected. "Your troubles are much more important. I am fine." With a curt nod, she ended that conversation. She stood to the side of the door, inviting herself into the cabin quite rudely. Ashamed, she shrunk back against the wall. Poseidon and Zeus didn't get along very well in her knowledge of Greek mythology. Did this mean that this Silver girl would hate her? Target her? Was she safe? She didn't yet have control over her power, and if Silver could simply rip her guts apart-Cascade was definitely overthinking it, and she could tell her aura had clouded up while she was hyperventilating under a mask of a lack of emotion. She had so many questions, but not the heart to ask them. Tilting her head, she silently beckoned Justin to tell Tina about his problems.

Tina's eyes dropped a degree in brightness at the mention of her half brother, telling her to run away with Terry. He wondered if Hades had sent him to the Fields of Punishment because of her. She was worried, but there wasn't anything she could do.
"Miss Silver can be nice, actually." The daughter of Demeter spoke up with a tilt of her head. She had been kind enough while helping her train, and not as strict as she was to other campers. The daughter of Zeus was known for being cruel and unfriendly, though not without a reason. "Justin, I'm sure she doesn't have eyes for anyone at the moment. Just give her time." She told him with a small smile.
