Julien's eyes widened at seeing Tina, a smile on his face. "Tina!" he shouted, relieved to find she wasn't dead... though being with Shade in the Underworld wasn't much better. He was about to run to her and give her a hug, hoping things could go back to the way they were before Lauren left to Mt. Rushmore. He wished it were all a dream. Then, he noticed the expression on Tina's face as if she was seeing him for the first time. "Why doesn't she recognize me?" he asked Shade, though this time with worry and shock instead of hatred directed at the one who killed him.

Shade hesitated, seeing the realization on Julien's face. He knew the question was coming, and he doubted he would enjoy answering it, but he would have to. "Um...I don't know. I think it was when you died. She just started crying, saying your name over and over and then...She wouldn't talk. She would make a sound. She doesn't seem to remember anything either. So I took her down here to see you. It doesn't seem to be working on her, though." His voice was guilty and cautious.

Julien sighed, taking a step towards Tina, kneeling down. "Tina?" he asked, "Do you remember me?" He knew she did. She couldn't just forget. It had to be trauma. She wanted to forget and that's why she made herself do just that. Julien couldn't blame her. He wished he could forget, too; forget his death, forget Lauren's death, forget Camp. Still, he supposed knowing he was dead was probably better for him than believing himself alive, still.

(It's kind of harsh...this post, I mean. She just kind of brushes Julien off. D:)
Tina withdrew her hands from her hair, staring at Shade, then Julien in curiosity. She shot a quick glance at Lauren. How would she know ghosts? They were dead people. She looked up at her older brother with her big blue eyes, tilting her head slightly to the side. Remember h? She didn't. Suddenly, there was a flash of an image, screaming and blood. She shivered, wondering what it was. The scene brought her the chills. It was unpleasant. It was the day Shade had attacked the camp, but she didn't recognize anything significant, just shuttered.
Tina pushed aside the thought, wondering if it was a fragment of a bad dream she had before. She looked up at the ghost boy. Was he sad being dead? He seemed sad, and regretful. Many of the ghosts she had been playing with were like that. The daughter of Demeter slowly shook her head. She gave him a small, but gentle smile, feeling cautious and timid around new people.
Then Tina turned, skipping over to Shade who had a guilty look on his face. She wasn't paying attention to a word they spoke to each other, the thought seemingly unimportant to her. She wanted Shade to stop making that face, so she smiled at him. She pulled off the woven flower crown on her head and held it out with her two little hands just to show him.

Julien back away, sighing and trying to hide his disappointment and regret. Maybe he should have just ignored Tina's cry. Maybe she'd have been better that way. No, he had to help. She was being attacked by Shade, he had to help. He was glad he helped, though he would rather have had it end differently with no one losing their life. So, instead, he just watched her, wondering what she did remember and wondering if Shade had lied when he said he'd done nothing to her.
(Mine are so short compared to your posts... I'M SORRY!!!!)

Shade watched Tina with an expression that was difficult to read. It was a mix of guilt, pity, and regret. He had made a big mess of things, hadn't he? He forced a smile at her. "It's pretty." He didn't know what else to say to the flowers. She had woven herself a flower crown, which was amusing. "Tina, you can go play with the other ghosts if you want now. I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
Shade straightened to look back at Julien, wondering what he was wondering. "Can you tell me?" He blurted out before he could stop himself. "Tell me everything. Lauren, you too. Please, I'm begging you. I'm so confused. I don't remember anything, and it's killing me. It's because I was so stupid that this happened, and I'm sorry." He knew Julien would have a long way to go before forgiving him, but at least he knew he had tried.

Julien looked at Lauren, waiting for her to start. "I sort of came into the picture a little late - after you'd left on the quest. I wasn't at Camp for the beginning." He wasn't sure what to say. Should he jut leave the entire story to Lauren? After all, it's not like he learned anything after Lauren's death. The only thing he'd done was yell at the questers that returned - something he regretted doing. Now that he had seen Lauren and how happy she seemed to be, his anger had just melted away, replaced with worry for those still living.

Lauren was silent during this exchange just watching. He didn't remember a thing??? Lauren bit her lip. That explains alot
"I suppose you want from the day you got to camp? I wasn't there when you got there but Terry and Kat had brought you into the Infirmary. You Weren't exactly in the best condition..." and she went off from there explaining about how Terry watched him and cared for him. She talked about Matt, and Kat as well. But it seemed like Terry was the most important in Shade's camp life.

Shade tilted his head, listening to her words carefully. He wanted to know everything, and he wasn't going to forget. There was a painful flash in his mind, and a shard of memory flickered in an image. Terry, Matt, Summer, and Kat were all there. "Race you?"
Just as quickly as the image disappeared, Dark appeared. He melted out behind Shade from his shadow. His eyes were a hard black, morphing suddenly an angry red, then a worried gray. They finally settled on their calm black and he tapped the son of Hades on the shoulder. "The Lord calls for you. It's another request. And it's urgent."
Shade blinked in surprise, and annoyance at the interruption. Hdes needing him urgently didn't sound good, though. He had no choice. "Um..." He looked back at Julien and Lauren, feeling frustrated. "Alright, um, I'll go. Tell me next time, okay? Thanks." He told Lauren truthfully. Then he melted away, leaving the shade alone with Tina and the two ghosts.
Dark turned towards the two with a small snarl, "You are not to meddle with the affairs of the living. The young master is going to be the one to kill Kathrine Woods. He must not remember that pathetic camp life he had."
(Once again sabotaging the course of this thread.)

(xD Making up descriptions based on a few posts I've read from the quest before the whole Hades betrayal thing...)
Julien stepped back, remembering the shade from the attack on camp. "Pathetic life? I'm pretty sure his life was better at camp than it is now - serving Hades like a slave." He knew Shade would probably never be his favorite person in the world, but he could learn to not want to kill him every time he saw him so long as he went back to the way everyone always described him - shy, kind, and trustworthy.
He would have probably said some more offensive things to the shade but he knew from what he'd seen at camp that what Dark felt, Shade felt. It was some sort of empathy-type link or something. That, and Julien was kinda dead - not the most intimidating thing in the world when talking to a shade making his home in the Palace of Hades.

Dark let out an annoyed hiss at Julien. His eyes flashing a sudden bright red. Shade had always been beside him, growing up, and the shade hated his absence. He didn't want him to go back to the camp.
These two ghosts could be a problem. If they told Shade anything... "Just stay away from him. If he remembers anything, your younger sister will get it." He snarled at the two to show that he was serious-deadly serious. "To put it bluntly, the two of you are dead. You don't need to worry about what's happening outside."

"And your not a demigod," Julien replied, anger building. "Yet, somehow, you still care about what Shade does? What's the difference with me and my friends? I still want them safe. I'm not going to sit here, frolicking in fields of daisies, while my friends are being slaughtered by a person who is only doing what he is doing because you people down here did something with his head. What, exactly, I'm not sure of, yet. But I will find out and set thing straight."

Dark let out a hiss angrily. He didn't seem to want backing off. "Oh, trust me. We're not done messing with his head. Since he swore he would serve Hades forever, then he will! We will wipe his memories over and over. He won't ever remember you or anyone else. He doesn't know it himself, but bringing that little Demeter girl was good after all. We'll just have him kill her if you try to interfere again!" He pointed a dark finger at the little girl not paying attention.

Julien took a step closer, staring Dark in the eyes. "Try it and I'll make your life Hell," he whispered. The threat probably wasn't too menacing seeing as how they were in the Underworld so Dark's life was already Hell but the point still stood.

Dark didn't back down, instead, he stood face to face, staring into his eyes unflinching. He had lived too long to even think about backing down from this kind of situation. "You could try. So you do understand what it is to care for someone. I care for the young master. And this is the best for him."
(Mine's short too.)
