Shade narrowed his eyes at Julien's reply, but nodded to Lauren in a small greeting. "You're lucky you even got into the Isles of Blest. You're lucky that I can convince Minos of some things. He pushed back his hood. "I don't, I just came here to give that to you. And maybe you should go to the Fields of Asphodel. Maybe you'll see your little sister if your so eager to." He let it slip before he had even realized. It was a lie to get back at Julien. He hadn't meant to say it, but he had to make sure he didn't find out what he had actually done to her. The little girl wouldn't talk, wouldn't laugh. Dying would have been worse, and Shade felt guilty after spending some time with her.

(Do powers work in the Underworld or no? My Underworld knowledge is a but sketchy... xD)
"And what's that supposed to mean?" he asked, grabbing onto Shade's shirt. "Where is she? If you touched her I swear you'll join me, getting a permanent pass of your own." He hated Shade, he held him partly responsible for Lauren's death. Shade had killed him, too. Now, there was the possibility he has killed or was planning to kill Tina. He wasn't about to let that go unpunished.

(I don't think you can use your powers if you're dead...I don't know either...D:)
Shade found himself being pulled forward, which surprised him. It just occurred to him that Julien was older and probably stronger than him. If he didn't use his powers or a weapon, he was on the losing side. Unfortunately, powers wouldn't affect a dead spirit, the same as with his sword. His own fingers scrabbled uselessly at Julien's hand to try to get him to release him, but it was futile. Mybe he shouldn't have lied. Technically, she was over there playing in the field of flowers and entertaining the lonely ghosts. He decided he would stick with the little white lie.
"I said, if you want to see her, you'll have to go there! And if you want compensation so much, I don't care! Hit me all you want." Shade's voice came out in a low growl as he met the older boy's gaze unflinchingly. Lauren was probably in an uncomfortable situation, but like he cared. It just infuriated him that Julien knew who he was more than he himself would ever know. Or maybe he was lying to him like the rest, or so Dark had said.

Lauren seriously didn’t know what was happening. But the fact it looked like Julien was about to punch Shade, who in a way was like the little Prince of the Underworld, wasn’t good. Stepping up next to Julien she cleared her throat “A word from the wise Julien. Don’t create problems…your dead and frantically the punishments tend to be…forever,” she said.

Julien glanced over, still gripping Shade's shirt. "You asked me how I died," he said, as if the reason for doing what he was doing should be obvious to Lauren. "You're looking at it." Turning back to Shade, he grinned a twisted, dangerous smile. "Now, she can't be dead. I refuse to believe it. You may be the son of the Lord of the Underworld but I doubt your so cruel you kill little girls - or so I hope not... for your sake. Now, I'll repeat myself: Where is she and have you harmed her?"

Lauren was silent. Shade killed Julien? Why? Trying to pull Julien back she kept her eyes on Shade “Shade, I knew you had changed. I knew you weren’t the same when you led an army against you own home and killed your own friends. But killing Julien? A perfect stranger?” she asked her voice confused. That couldn’t have been out of innocent forgetting where he belonged. That had to be from something else…What had happened to lead to these events?

Shade swallowed hard. He hadn't really meant to. He had been pondering what to do to get Tina to forget she had seen him when Julien had interrupted him. He had just wanted to get the suffocating vines away from him. He wanted to learn more about his past. It may not have looked like it, but he was claustrophobic. He lowered his gaze. As Julien turned back to him, he began to kick, trying to get out of his grip, which didn't help him much.
The son of Hades stopped for a moment, looking away. Answering his question was...painful to him. He wouldn't have killed Tina for no reason. Unless he got the order, maybe it would. The realization twisted his stomach. "Okay, she's alive, and like I said, in the Fields of Asphodel. And if I harmed her..." He stopped. He had, really. He had by killing Julien. She was in too much of a shock to remember who she was or even speak. Wasn't that harming?

Julien's eyes widened, his grip on Shade loosening. Turning away, he let go of him, wanting to run out and see his little sister. At least tell her goodbye. He didn't speak for a moment but simply glared at Shade, wanting him gone. Realizing he had no way of getting back at Shade and no way to ensure Tina's safety, he sighed. "Don't touch her. Don't hurt her. Don't mess with her head. Don't kill her. Don't do anything to her or else..." he said, still wanting to draw his knife and slit Shade's throat, though he noticed his knife had disappeared upon his arrival to the Underworld.

Lauren frowned at Julien and Shade. Looking at Plato with a sigh "Any enlightment?" she asked him. But he just chuckled "Not anything new. I've been dead during this whole fiasco," he laughed making Lauren smile.

Shade stumbled back when Julien released him. He caught his balance and looked up at the ghost, then at Lauren. Truthfully, he didn't recognize her. "Was your name...Lauren?" He turned back to Julien, feeling more guilty than ever. He had been trying to keep him away from her because he was afraid of what he would say, but he didn't have the right to do it. "Do you want...to see her?"

Lauren shook her head with a smile "No. My name IS Lauren," she told Shade kindly. Strange even after death she found a need to be nice to all people...

Julien nodded, though still harboring a hatred toward Shade. Pausing, he waited for Shade to take the lead, turning to Lauren. "You're coming, too, right?" he asked, not wanting to go alone with Shade. It wasn't that he didn't trust him. It was more along the lines of he didn't trust himself to not kill Shade.

Lauren shrugged "Sure. Why not. It's not like I'm doing anything, since I have forever to do it..." she said shrugging with a grin. Walking forward and waving bye to Plato "Bye Plato! Good luck!" she told him happily.

Shade watched them both for a moment before turning away. "Sorry, Lauren, I'll remember that." He had to resist asking who his friend's used to be and why she had said she had attacked his own friends. He didn't remember being in camp, ever.
Shade had decided it was the right thing to do after all. He walked down into the elevator, waiting for them to get in and pushing the button. When they were outside, he walked out into the field, closing his eyes and concentrating, sensing the Fields of Asphodel for the little girl. He felt her playing in a flower field, picking a daisy. He smiled to himself, and concentrating on shadow-traveling her here.

Fate enjoys second chances Tina didn't really enjoy the dizzy and sudden rush of shadow-travel, but it was tolerable. She had been frolicking through the little meadows and making the flowers flourish a great deal. The ghosts were attracted to her, seemingly enjoying a bright little girl's company, even if she said nothing. She began to weave a small flower crown, giving one to a smaller ghost child. The little girl smiled at her, "Thanks!" Tina smiled back with a nod. She was making one of her own and trying to adjust it correctly on her head when the shadow travel came again. She wondered what Shade wanted this time. Tina landed in the clearing, still sitting and getting her purple and black flower crown just right in the middle of her head. She smiled at Shade brightly, wanting to show the nice boy. She was like Persephone! Regal and elegant. She jumped to her feet and twirled in front of him. The son of Hades had a grim look on his face, and she wondered what exactly was wrong. His gaze didn't rest on her, but someone else. The daughter of Demeter turned around, spotting Julien and Lauren. For a moment, she just paused, wondering where she had seen them before, then dismissing the thought. It was that she didn't want to remember and she didn't know what was going on, not that she had truly forgotten. So, rejecting the memory, she sat down with a small plop and tilted her head.she stared at Julien and Lauren with a curious, questioning expression. Her wide blue eyes were innocent and blank, empty voids as if there was something missing. Who are you? Tina seemed to be asking, but didn't speak.
