As she led the way, Summer couldn't help but repeatedly glance back every few moments at Vi and Terry, as if to check they still were following, and as a result, nearly collided with another camper heading the opposite direction. "Sorry," Summer muttered, not looking very sorry.
When they arrived, Summer spun around on her heel and faced Terry and Vi with a slight smile, eyes shining. The arena was one of her many favorite places. Surprisingly, only a handful of demigods scattered the area, so the arena seemed barely occupied. "So where do you wanna start?"

Terry glanced over at Vi, trailing behind Summer as they entered the arena. He trained often, and didn't enjoy injuring others, so he used a staff instead. During training, he aimed for nerves and didn't swing hard enough to break bones or give bruises.
Terry was snapped from his thoughts at Summer's question. "Huh? Oh, don't you have to get a weapon first?" He turned his question to the newer camper.

Vi followed after eagerly with a smug grin. Did she know how this was going to end? Nope. Have a weapon.. Well.. Isn't there one I could borrow? Really, she didn't know how to weild a sword. But she did did know that demigods were naturally born with some skill in combat. Kind of self explanatory. Don't they have spare swords that I can use? Someome told her of the weapons that they used, so she wasn't totally clueless. She knew more than you might think.

"Oh..." Summer nearly did a facepalm at her own stupidity, cheeks blaring red. How could she have forgotten? Of course a new camper needed a weapon. "We should visit the Armory first. But there's some practice swords here, too, and we can visit the Armory later, if you're eager to start right away," Summer offered, tilting her head slightly, glancing at Vi.
"You can experiment with some weapons here, see what type you like the best," she suggested.

"The heavy weapons are on the right of the rack, and they decrease in weight as well as size going down." Terry added, trying to be helpful to Summer. He pointed at the rack, his staff resting at his side peacefully. "Um, just get what you want, I guess.requests can be made later to the Hesphaestus kid's if you want something specific." He informed her.

Vi hummed and jogged over to the rack, her shoes crunching over the ground. For a second or two she sat, then picked one that was a bit long but it was heavier than she expected. Heavy weapons were her favorite. Well. She thought, at least. With a smile to herself, she looked at the sword and then back over her shoulder to look at the others. I'll just use this one for now. She said to them, walking back over with the sword still rightfully in her grasp. What now? Her lips pursed slightly, more confusedly, as she waited for the two senior campers to teach her the ropes.

Terry smiled, remembering the first time he had taught a new camper. He looked over at Summer. "Um..." He had to give her the chance of teaching. He had taught before, but she hadn't. Everyone should get the chance to be a teacher. It was the first step to being a senior camper. So he decided to sit aside for now. "Summer? You want to train with her first? I'll watch, and give a few pointers."

A flash of alarm flickered in her eyes, but disappeared as soon as it had come. Summer hadn't expected this, and had thought Terry would teach, being older and at camp longer. She could fight, but she wasn't exactly taught how to teach someone else. She had altered a few of the techniques to work for herself; what if she taught Vi wrong, since Summer had basically forgotten how the other campers had taught her?
"Sure..." Summer turned to face Vi again. "So, um, I usually fight with my left side facing my opponent, my weapon in my right. That way, if you use a shield, you can block, shove their sword aside, then attack with your right." She mimicked it for her in slow motion.
