Silene danced through the arena, ice shooting in every direction possible around her. Her dark green eyes were concentrated on everything before her. She sliced the dummy before her into tiny pieces of straw, a cold wind blowing around her in a powerful shockwave. The straw flew everywhere and she started on another one. It was nighttime, past curfew. Like she cared about the harpies. Let them come. They would be reduced to dust soon. Memories in fragments passed her. But she remembered every one of them. She never forgot.
Lily "Silene, right? Your name is spelled weird, isn't it? It's different. I like that, let's be friends!" You
Jean "Unfriendly, aren't you? Hey, can you be friendly to me?" You
Cole "What are you glaring at? Smile! Honestly, you need to." You
Sarah "Hey, don't just stand there! You can practice with me." You
Dillon "Hey, Silene, you listening? I'll protect you. Don't be scared." You
Naive, cheesy lines. All false false false. You I killed you, you, you, and You
Silene stopped, looking around. She had been surprised to find there were no more dummies left to slice. Straw was blown in every direction around her. The daughter of Khoine straightened herself, and just noticed someone else's prescence. She didn't like giving shows, but it was her problem for not paying attention. She was silent, unsure of what to say, or how to explain her sudden aggression. She just stared at the onlooker, not really able to see since it was dark.

Justin was cautious keeping away from the ice. He was out at night to practice with a sword since he couldn't sword fight for his life. But seeing their were no dummies left anymore... Stepping out of the shadows he watched her with a slight smile. "Hey Silene. Not gonna kill me are you?" he teased gesturing to the remains of the dummies. Which now floated around pointlessly.

Feeling slightly cautious, Silene was silent for a moment. She studied Justin for a moment, recognizing him. She had a respect for the other cabin leaders, and always acted as well as talked formally. She decided to ignore his comment. "I apologize...I didn't realize that I had..." She surveyed the scattered pieces of straw strewn over the sandy arena floor. Her winter green eyes the color of evergreen pines were a bit troubled.
Silene came up with a solution quite simply. Ice began to cluster, forming the shape of a human. Soon, many realistic sculptures of demigods with weapons formed themselves from the frost. She was a bit tired from exerting so much enery for so many of them.

Justin grinned at the ice sculptures "Cool. I cant do this sort of art. You do know you didn't have to make them. " he said walking up to one and poking it lightly with the sword. Which he held uncomfortably. Looking back at Silene he said "So bad day? Because the dummies don't seem to have been destroyed out of love, and kindness..." he said kicking a dummy arm away." amusement in his brown eyes.

Silene gazed at Justin. He had a reputation of being nice and cheerful, and he was surely living up to that. She blinked, looking back down at the pieces of straw. She realized he had just given her an applicable excuse for destroying the dummies. In reality, she had just been thinking about her past, and hating everything about it. Her day had been perfectly fine.
"Yes, I guess so..." Silene nodded with a reply. It was sadly obvious when she lied because of her honest personality. She really actually wasn't a bad person. It was just that no one liked the cold temperature that followed her like a dog. Which reminded her, subzero temperatures didn't suit others. She shrunk the area of coldness into a tight globe only a rod her vicinity. It was useful to keep others away.

(ehh sorry it's lazy)
Justin grinned at her "So what's the cause of your misery today?" he asked smoothly enjoying the change in temperature. Which was evident cause he wasn't as fidgety.

"Misery?" Silene turned back to Justin, surprise in her green eyes. "I'm not miserable, just...a bit bothered. Whatever has been happening lately isn't making much sense." She stopped, looking back at the son of Aphrodite. "Did you come here to let your troubles out?"

Justin shook his head "My troubles won't be solved through sword. Though my lack of skills may," he said referring to the fact he couldn't sword fight for his life.

"Then, do you need help with your lack of skills?" Silene cracked a small smile of amusement. She knew that trouble was brewing, and something like the other attack might happen again. The Aphrodite cabin leader had to have at least basic fighting skills, yes?

Justin grinned "Unfortunately. But I'd find it unfair of you to help me when I can't help you," he said shrugging. He didn't forget her troubles, and cared enough to help. It was who he was.

Silene just shook her head thoughtfully, "Think of it...as a favor, to both you and the camp." She formed her sword from ice and held it before her. "If you came here to train, come against me, not some dummies. I won't strike back, but at least you need to learn to attack properly."

Justin grinned "Then out of curtesy I must give you a favor in return," he shrugged. The looked at Silene hesitantly "Attack you? Erm with this?" he grunted slightly as he tried to swing the sword he had brought. "I suppose short doesn't mean light..." he muttered dropping the sword and looking for a thinner one he saw earlier. Finding it he picked it up. It was alot lighter but he still didn't feel comfortable with it.

Silene frowned at his reaction, lowering her weapon. Hers always matched her. It was made of ice, formed by herself. She decided it must have been hard not to have a weapon that fit. "You sure? You don't look comfortable. If it's fine, come, attack."

Justin nodded "Yeah. I'm going to have to learn how to use a sword eventually..." he said holding the cold and firm handle. He didn't find this comfortable, but he knew a bow and arrow shouldn't be the only weapon he could use...
Hesitating momentarily he thrust the sword forward as he had seen other do so frequently during practice.

Silene just shrugged in agreement, watching him shift the sword around. She held up her own in defense, deciding she would take it slow and see what he had in his arsenal. She parried his thrust with a strike to knock his sword to the side. With the flat of her blade. She brought her clear ice blade back around to swing at his shoulder.
