Renate laughed at Nick's comment. "Nah, Zeke is my softie," she said teasing Zeke. She had seen him freeze some people to the ground, sure it wasn't a gesture of kindness, but it was amusing. And as long as her feet weren't frozen she didn't mind. Since balancing pudding on the frozen people's heads was also very amusing.

Zeke laughed, giving an innocent shrug. "What can I say, I've got a warm heart. Have to keep it cooled down, somehow," he grinned, gesturing to the frozen lake behind him. He wanted to seem kind to a certain extent, but his eyes were still cold and cruel towards Nick. "Would you like me to come with you? I don't want it to seem like I'm sending you two off to get me a drink or anything."

Renate grinned. "Of course you can come with us!" she told Zeke happily as she untied her skates happily. Since ice skating seemed like a unstable activity she wouldn't be taking part in anytime soon.

Nick grinned at Renate. "A true dictator, very admirable," he laughed hinting that he believed she owned Zeke. His gray eyes then turned to meet Zeke's cold eyes innocently "Of course you can tag along!" his voice kind. And act. A skilled act what more can it be?

Zeke grinned, hiding his hatred. Tag along? he thought. Does he think I'm a dog or a third wheel or something? Just wait 'til I get him alone.... He melted the ice on his shoes - the ice that served as the blade of his skates - as well as Nick's, which he'd nearly forgotten about.

Renate smiled at the two "So where to? I think the Apollo kids might have some hot chocolate, if not I can check in my cabin for the hot chocolate powder and the hot milk," she shrugged casually as she tied the Skates together and picked them up.

Zeke shrugged, thinking back to who he'd taken hot chocolate fro earlier in the winter - before he'd really met Renate. "I think Apollo cabin is the most likely place to find hot chocolate. After all, he is the god of the sun which usually mean warmth," he concluded. "There's probably some in there."

Nick shrugged "I dunno where hot chocolate may be, though I would guess with the children of Aphrodite, since they seem to have everything," he said pointing at the large Aphrodite cabin, it's spoiled members probably deciding on what they were going to wear the next day.

Rebate shrugged "Let's try Apollo first," she told Nick before skipping off ahead clearly in a good mood as she hummed a random song.

Zeke flashed a triumphant grin at Nick as Renate decided to go with his idea. Following, he began to recognize the song Renate was humming and paused, crafting a small ice tube with various holes. Bending the winds to his will, he used the tube as a flute, funneling the wind into the tube and freezing and thawing certain holes based on which note it was meant to play.

Nick rolled his eyes at Zeke and started to jog to catch up to Rebate abd leave Zeke behind. Maybe he should...no not yet, it took too much energy...

Renate laughed turning to look behind her at Zeke "The pied piper in person!!!" she laughed. Twirling back around and spinning towards the Apollo cabin to the music, reaching the musical place. The campers enjoying their time here unaware that their cabin leader would not return from helping the questers.

As they neared the cabin, Zeke dissolved the ice, laughing. "Told you. My first day involved ice-flutes," he grinned, recounting the day. It was his first memory as, before that time, things were vague. He saw motions and actions but heard no dialogue nor saw any specifics other than the fact he was there.

Renate smiled "Very musical." she knocked on the door, a Apollo girl opening it widely with a bright sunny smile "Hello, I knew you would be here!" she told them laughing. Some children of Apollo had the ability to see glimpses of the near future, so Renate wasn't surprised. The girl already handing them cups, "Be careful it's hot!" she told them before rushing back into the cabin to check on a crash, which halted the music playing inside. Ohh no, why couldn't you be more careful? You broke my drum! a voice inside rushed through. Renate not wanting to linger took her cup and hopped off the steps. "Well that was nice..." she laughed.

Zeke chuckled, taking his cup and calling a thanks to the Apollo girl, not caring if she heard. Taking a sip, he found it a bit hotter than he thought, cooling it down. Then, realizing just how much he relied on his powers, using them for the simplest things, he silently vowed to try and become self-sufficient. Sure, he loved to make ice and wind and everything but it was taking things too far when he used them to cool off hot chocolate that was a bit too hot. It wasn't like it was even burning his tongue. It was just a little warmer than he preferred.
