camp euthopia~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Camp Euthopia is a camp for demigods (Ages 10-18) in the Kingdom of Earth. It's based off Camp Half-Blood but it is very different. This is because in the Kingdom of Earth balance and harmony is the key to most things. So children under 10 are raised usually by their parents for the most part, since interaction with your children is encouraged.
Camp Euthopia, though called camp, is more like a school. You get breaks, and some required classes, the rest is optional. The only required classes are: History, Math, Basic Fighting/Survival Skills, and Greek Literature. The different ghosts and gods teach different classes. Each teacher highly qualified. You take one required class each day and are allowed to do what you want (for the most part) for the rest of the day.
In Camp your schedule is usually like this:
8:00-9:30 am. Breakfast/Showers/Free Time
9:30-11:00 am. Required Class
11:00-12:00 am. Non-required Courses are available/Free Time
12:00-1:30 pm. Lunch
1:30-2:00 pm. Announcements (If any)/ Non-required classes
2:00-3:00 pm Theatre or Performing Arts shows (if any. Not required to attend)
3:00-5:00 pm. Athletic event practice/ Saturdays competition (Not required)
5:00-5:30 pm. Break/Relaxing Time/Most things are closed
5:30-6:30 pm. Everything reopens and more non-required classes begin.
6:30-8:00 pm. Dinner time, thanking the gods, etc...
8:00-~ pm. Night life (parties, sleep, etc...)
It is NOT mandatory to follow the schedule. In fact they don't even print it out for you. But it's the way things usually go. The only times you are forced to do something is for the required classes, and you are required to attend dinner, that is all.
Some of the non-required classes include; medicine, wildlife, music, foreign language, etc.. All these classes are located in a large building near the Main Building. During the time when non-required classes begin campers are allowed to roam around camp and do as they please. The classes are only fit those with an interest in learning.
The Cabins here form and square surrounding a large courtyard and each side of the square represents a season. But some of the cabins may have been moved around since they don't belong in any season. Each cabin has at least 3 rooms for whatever reason the demigods may want it. Like Camp Half-Blood, the cabins have leaders. Not all minor nature gods have their own cabins. For example all river children of river gods share a cabin. These shared cabins usually have low populations, but if by chance have a high population have more rooms.view a rough map sketch here
The camp hosts many competitions, both artistically and athletically. They host chariot races, sing off's, plays, capture the flag, man hunt, swords fighting, martial arts, sports, academic league, and archery.
