This council meeting is being broadcasted live! Remember you saw it first from Aelous!
The Olympian Council stood infront of Persephone. The goddesses' green eyes locked into Zeus. Hades had allowed her to leave the Underworld early do she could stop her ridiculous fighting. Hades wants the daughter of Persephone dead. And Persephone is doing all in her power to keep her alive. And just to prove his point and have the other gods side with him he let Persephone go early, spring coming this year two weeks early.
"Lord Zeus! I beg of you and the council to reconsider your decision! Would it be fair if Hera killed all your children?" Persephone pleaded. Demeter now standing with her. The council had voted on wether or not Persephone should continue messing with the Fates and let her daughter die. And sadly the numbers weren't at her favor.
Athena, the one speaking against Persephone stood up. "Persephone, we are friends, but I'm afraid your decision isn't wise. If your daughter doesn't die, then she would be immortal. And if your daughter is immortal then why can't Aphrodite's children be as well? If we give one exception then all demigods will be immortal, and soon enough believe themselves to be gods. This will upset the balance of the world!" her voice was full of wisdom and the council nodded in agreement. All except Poseidon, Artemis, Demeter, and Apollo. The gods closest to nature. Their hearts being softer as they gazed down at the young goddess. At one point of time they would have done anything for her, but she was Queen of the Underworld, and was asking for help against her husband. Which is completely against Hera.
"You have spoken wise words Athena. The council has decided, we will not intervene with the life of your daughter and the plans of Hades." Zeus said. And with that the council fell silent under his command. Persephone's eyes flashed with anger and anguish. And without looking back she fled away from Olympus. If Olympian Council wont help, then surely the nature gods will...
