Maria has a habit of being very sweet towards nearly everybody, exceptions being just about anybody who hurts somebody without remorse. She's a bit of a pacifist and hates it when her friends fight. While she is athletic and considered bold in many cases, she changes completely when she gets tired. As such, she needs at least six hours of sleep or you might end up with a very scary girl for the rest of the day.
Maria was born in Ohio to a mother who was only twenty-three. She died about three months after the poor girls birth in a fire started by the stove. It was Maria's half-brother, Ace, that got her out just as it had started. Afterwards, they were brought to live with their uncle, a man by the name of Johnathan.Likes/Dislikes:
She discovered her powers in seventh grade when she was so tired she just wished that they could all lay down their heads, close their eyes, and sleep. Needless to say it happened a few moments later when kids heads dropped to the desks and the teacher fell over with a loud snore following him.

Powers: Maria has the power to put people and animals to sleep. She can't use her powers on fellow demi-gods or animals over 100 lbs.How I Arrived to Camp/School/Subway:
Flaws: She blames herself for her mother's death, as the stove caught fire when her mother was trying to entertain her and cook at once. Maria is headstrong and doesn't like or particularly support the idea of giving up even when everything seems futile and there's no way out. In most cases, she'll insist that there is a solution and annoy everybody until they decide to try.
Gifts: She has a natural ability to do most sports and take strong hits. Her body can sustain itself until she reaches a point in which numbness takes over. She moves quickly and precisely and is flexible to the point of being able to put her legs behind her head.
Maria being as friendly as she is has a lot of friends. A few, on or two of them, attended this camp and after some research and discreet watching (coughstalkingcough) found that she actually fit perfectly well here. As she became more aware of who she was she got a bit dangerous in some ways. That was when they decided it was time to take her to camp and train her.Comments:
