The Show Must Go On

Kat heard Matt's comment but she disappeared before her reaction could be seen. Walking around the mountain she didn't know how to respond to such a comment. She wouldn't deny her crush on Terry. It was pretty obvious. But she frantically never acted upon in much. She was merely protective but not romantic in any form. Not one to make the first move, therefore she didn't know what they were to each other. More than friends but not dating. Ohh well this could be solved after they get to camp, she thought shrugging.

Suddently shr turned around to see Terry pop out of the sky and nearly burst out laughing. Seeing a clear sky and suddently a boy appearing reminded her of the horror movies. Which made things amusing. Since in her mind they were currently living in a horribly written horror movie. Skipping over with zeal she smiled "Well that was cool. Better than falling a thousand feet from the sky," she said frowning slightly at the terrifying incident. "I hope your not too tired." a bit if concern slipping in.

Terry- He waved a hand dissmissively at Kat rven though he was still taking some big gulps of air. "It's fine-I'm fine. Let's keep going." He stood upright, regaining a bit of hus energy since both of them looked somewhat concerned for him. "So, whats next?"

Kat nodded and looked at Matt for directions. "Do you guys remember the prophecy??" she forgot it the current events panicking her too much to even remember details. First her powers disappearing at the other questers being picked off one by one. The monsters. Shade. Everything had sent her into a state of never ending panic.

Matt lpoked st the mountain. "Well we have to get to the peak and find the power or whatever." he said shrugging before continuing his walk. Then looking at the two of them his eyebrow raised "So are you guys dating yet or just still keeping it low?" a smile on his face

[Terry Coleman]

Terry nodded, straightening up. "Alright! Let's go." He looked back, offering a hand to Kat. He stopped at Matt's question, then paused. "Uh...I..." He didn't want to show it, but he accidently blushed, speaking his emotions lud and clear.

Kat took his hand with a brilliant smile her hand feeling a sense of warmth. Blinking her green eyes she shook her head Matt's words making her cheeks go a soft red and get hand drop out of Terry's clearing her throat she decided to ignore the subject of her crush towards Terry. This definently wasn't the time. They had to get going. "Come on let's get to the peak," she told them beckoning them to follow as she jogged forward not knowing what exactly they were locking for. But being at Mount Rushmore she decided that they should see the faces.

Matt shrugged and looked at Terry "Just asking. I dunno, she won't be single forever you know. I hear alot if talk but I figured you'd ask her out by now," without waiting much he followed Kat with a fast paced jog. The son if Dionysus started thinking about camp. What was Summer up to? How was she suppose to explain Shade?...wow what a mess...

[Terry Coleman]

"Uhm..." Terry pulled back his hand that was awkwardly sticking out and she ran past him. He tried with all his will not to stare after her sweeping blonde hair longingly. He swallowed. Hard. He couldn't find a way to reply to Matt, and realized he hadn't asked her before, even though he admitted he loved her before. The wings on his shoes fluttered in agitation, and he found himself again. He lifted into the air, flying forward after them.

Kat heard the soft flap of wings and the loud thud of feet but she didn't slow down. Rather she picked up speed so she could get to where she wanted to be. George Washington was far ahead. But she was determined to see his face. But rather than running to look down she tripped over her own foot and tumbled into a small wall. Catching herself before any damage was done she wiped off the dirt and looked around hoping nobody saw that. A dark shadow creeping to the side as a small bird flapped its wings. Not thinking she rushed over "Isn't it beautiful!!" her exclamation sounded overjoyed and a bit distant as if she was losing her focus on anything but the dazzling creature.

Matt laughed and continued running. "It takes skill to trip over flat surfaces Kat!!!" he teased not at all worried. But the bird on the other hand made him frown. "Don't mess with it Kat you dont even know what it is," he warned slowing down and walking closer. Changing into a leopard he glared at the bird opening his mouth to draw in the scent. Oh it smelled like bird, but like something else as well...

[Terry Coleman]

Terry flew over, hovering above Matt's leopard form. "Come one, Matt, what's wrong? It's just a small bird, what's there to be afraid of?" He let out a nervous laugh, gazing at the tiny bird. It was cute, and no doubt caught Kat's attention easily, but the more he looked at it, the odder he felt.

Kat laughed. "It's no danger, look it's wanting to show us something!" her green eyes dancing with joy. She loved birds, and mice, and rabbits, and well all spring animals. In fact she loved most animals, and plants. Sure she wasn't fond of cacti, but they were still lovely.

She followed the bird as it flitted a couple feet away. Kat ignored the leopard and continued following the bird until they reached a small pond. A smile on her lips "Well look at that, aren't you so kind?" she said looking down at the pond next to the tunnel in the ground. The surface started to fog up and Kat looked down.
