Matt lead the group forward, at least he did a couple hours ago. Now all he could see was the dark dusk and the shadows of the mountain. If possible he would find a way to get up faster. But unless they all split up and used their own gifts they would walk. Though Kat plant traveling, Terry flying, and Matt being a leopard would make the hike faster. "Come on we have to continue moving forward..." he told them.

Kat was aimlessly moving forward until she glanced up the tall mountain side "Can't we just split up and travel faster? It'll make life alot easier..." she asked with a deep sigh. She was wide awake but not keen on climbing up the whole mountain in foot. It would take her half and hour to make it to the timberline then find some random plant in the top to get to the peak. Sighing she looked for Terry wondering if he would agree.

"Or, I could send everyone through." Terry objected, not liking the idea of splitting up. He rather liked his idea better, even if it would tire him considerably. "I am not splitting up from you guys. We have to stay together. The moment we split up, who knows what could happen? Someone could be waiting just for us to split up, and attack at that time."

Kat tilted her head to the side and nodded "Too true...but is it not too tiring? What I'd someone awaits for us there and attacks you?" she asked knowing her own responce. She would attack the threat but still they were all tired from hiking but not tired enough to actually not beable to do anything. But if Terry got too tired she didn't want him over working, or over exercising since being a Demi-god is definently a workout.

Terry smiled at her, brushing off her worry like it was nothing. "It's alright. I can do it. I don't do much with my powers anyways. So it should be fine. I never tap on my power energy. So I have plenty." He formed a fist tapping his shoulder jokingly. "See? Big and strong."

Kat laughed rolling her eyes "Mhm. I'm just pointing out it may not be as smooth as it sounds. I mean what if I get shipped to Russia? Or Egypt! Or even Mexico?!" she started to sound a bit excited but real using this she cleared her throat "I mean that would be badddd like those drug gangs I could just hop into a middle of a meeting and say "Gey guys dealing drugs? That's cool sorry wrong adress!"

Terry- The son of Hermes crossed his arms, looking slightly offended that she doubted his abilities. "Hey! I send mail all the time? I've sent people more than once. Its like shadow-travel." He kind of paused there, being reminded of Shade, which still made him plenty uncomfortable, and caused his heart to throb.

Kat paused glancing at the ground underneath her "I'm really sorry about Shade, he would still be here if I didn't come..." her voice was a soft whisper as her green eyes stated at the grass. She caused and is still causing conflict.
Smiling wryly she said "Well the faster we get up the mountain and complete the quest the faster we can get home. I have a feeling things are gonna get worse..." she said with a shudder. Her mother had told her at least that much...

Matt didn't answer until their tiny conversation ended. "Ok that sounds like a better idea, I think Terry can handle shipping us to the top of Mount Rushmore..." he shrugged and looked up the tall mountain. "Then we can do what we have to do and Terry if he's not tired enough can ship us back to camp...." Matt was ready to get to the Dionysus cabin and lay on the bed calmly. Rather than fear facing Shade and fighting crazy hybrids..

Terry's expression sobered at Kat bringing up Shade. He didn't enjoy the fact that the kid had forgotten about him, but it was worse that she was blaming herself for it. "Wait..no, that's not it." He felt just as horrible as she probably did right one, and he was probably just as responsible as her. Hades and the gods were the cause of this. They always dragged their children into their little quarrels. Terry was about to say so and probably get himself punished by a listening god. So instead, he just looked over at Matt and nodded. "I can do it."

Kat didn’t speak just nodded and looked at the earth around her. Her green eyes didn’t betray any of her thoughts as she wondered when she could rush back to camp. A sense of home-sickness filling her. When can things go back to normal? When can the world return to it’s normal pattern. Why couldn’t she go back to the time when she didn’t know her mother was Persephone and she believed it was Demeter. At that time Hades wouldn’t have noticed her, she would’ve been another troublesome demi-god. Ohh would anything return to normal? She shook her head and looked back at Terry and Matt “Come on let’s hurry, the camp is still waiting…”

"Top of Mount Rushmore." Terry repeated, not needing Kat to tell him. He was already starting, concentrating his power into the air before him. Like an envelope, the air before him shimmered and seemed to open. "Maximum carriage." He said as he waved open the air in front. The portal grew. "Alright, hurry up and jump in. I can't hold it for long." He smiled at his friends, trying not to show the strain on his mind.

Kathrine nodded smiling slightly back. Terry was probably the best person to tug in a trip, not only is he very useful, and intelligent, but he just has that character that seems to slowly melt away your worries at times. Looking at the air she cautiously stepped closer "If I end up in Galapagos Terry, I'm going to trap you in a tree," she laughed and jumped through the air disappearing, her ears rushing as she felt herself move and her knees buckling as she landed on the rocky ground. Looking around she saw tiny trees and the bottom of the mountain.

Matt nodded grinning at Kat's comment "Cone on love birds the show must go on!" and he leaped through feeling a brilliant exhilarating emotion as he landed onto the mountain ground with ease and a grin. Turning he awaited Terry to hop through. His green eyes surveying the air with interest.

Terry smiled back at Kat for her comment. "Um, I'm fine the way I am, I'm not that into trees." He rather liked the idea of the warm Galapagos versus the cold mountain peak of Rushmore. He made sure to hold it open, expending most of his strength. After Matt went through, Terry blushed at his comment and almost lost his concentration on the portal for mail. Hermes must have been wondering what package needed such a large portal, as well as what items had so much weight. Terry dove into the fold in the air, and it closed behind him.
It was like getting shot through a cannon. His vision was blurred and there was wind in his hair. A moment later, he pooped out of a fold in the sky and tumbled down onto solid land. He caught himself, studying the cold surroundings for the first time. he was so, so tired. And most of all, cold. "Need..a minute. Never sent...people. Let alone three." He gasped, taking a few minutes to catch his breath.
