Kathrine smiled her thanks and caught the sword and ina second she melted but in the s second reappeared by the monster her sword lunging forward to cut through it's shoulder vines springing around her wrapping around the snake tail. She fought back a yawn as she stepped back nit wanting to face a counter attack. But the vines were already thinning out...

Terry was trying to keep his movement limited, but he immediately abandoned that thought the moment the monster swung its tail out, breaking the thinning vines. He swooped forward, catching Kat and getting her out of the way. The monster raged forward, attracted to his bright golden staff. Terry flipped out of its range and managed to whack its pink nose while retreating.

Kat was being pulled back, her eyes half closed as she shook her head and herself awake. Standing up she blinked trying to find the snowy leopard. If anybody could combine powers it would be her and Matt, them both being able to control some form of plant. So if they made thorns, and trapped the monster, then they could possibly either trap it or destroy it.

After Terry had set Kat down out of the monster's range to recuperate, he flew forward. He was barely out of its reach, leading the crazed bunny thing away from the others. "Think of an idea while I keep it occupied. Five minutes is max!" He flew over its roaring head just as he finished his sentence. It took a swing at him and missed. It spat a glob of poison, sending acidic liquid flying around and melting things. Terry flitted around like a fly, keeping its attention trained on him.

Matt noticing Kat's wariness shifted to human form and stood next to Kat to see what she wanted. His green eye on Terry and the monster they didn't have much time. "Kat are you thinking to do the thorn combo to trap that thing? I don't believe an acid can go through it..." he said

Kat nodded half to sleep and half to agreement "Yeah...we have to be quick though..." and without hesitating she made the ground burst out like a viney cage surrounding the monster and leaving a small exit for Terry. Body shaking her face became pale as she began feeling sick. It was like running a mile with the stomach flu and not waiting bit sleeping for the past 2 days.

Terry blinked as a cage sprung up. Feeling relieved, the boy flitted backwards quickly to go through the exit. In a defiant roar, the monster flung a hard tail out at the demigod. Terry had just gotten to the exit when he blocked its tail with his staff. He flew through the exit, like a bullet. He couldn't stop in time, and slammed onto the ground, sliding a few feet. He winced in pain, feeling overly dizzy and unable to get up.

Kathrine's vision became unnaturally bright and she became severly slow. But even in such a horrible pace she tried to get to Terry. Her head spinning as she reached the cage. The wall next to Terry disappearing as she leaned down to get him. His face was like a search light, unnecessary bright and giving her a head ache as his eyes were replaced by fuzzy blotches. "Terry?" she said her face a stony white as her eyes began to unfocus.

Everything was a blur. Terry let out a soft groan of pain. His head was spinning, but he didn't sense anything broken. He sat up slowly, catching sight of the monster first, who was stuck in the cage momentarily. "Ow, ouchouchouch. That hurt." He managed to sit up, forcing a bright smile at Kat. "Fine, I'm fine. You should rest. You look like you're going to faint any moment." His blue eyes were heavy with concern. "What about Matt?" He forced himself to stand.

Kat shook her head sending her vision into complete chaos. "I'm fine..." she said her face becoming even paler as she fought to stay on her shaking feet. Nutshell was already noticing how soft the ground was. And some flowers started whispering about a safe slumber. How tempting...so tempting...but she had to shake her head sending a painful headache. Looking at the monster she started moving shakily towards Terry. Forcing a smile she said "Come on, we still have a quest to complete..." she looked for Matt but all she saw was a fluffy character standing near a tree. "Hey Matt finish it..." her voice started fading as her head was spinning. She had to stay up...

Matt had seen Kat and was acting quit. Thorns shooting uo from the ground and both surrounding and piercing the monster. Then the grass became covered is heavy red wine the smell intoxicating to everyone but himself. "Get out of there," he ordered them running forward with a large torn in his hand to slay the beast.

That smell, that horrible smell was the last thing she remembered as she collapsed. Her vision black as her mind whirled. Her conciousness knocked out of her as she fainted. But it was more like a fuzzy dream as the darkness formed shadows of another world. Rest my dear, the worst is yet to come... the words sweet and calming as everything went black again.

"No way, I'm going to help yo-" Terry stopped in mid-sentence as Kat fainted right where she stood. Letting loose a quick curse that wasn't like him, the son of Hermes caught the girl. "Kat! Kat! Oh man..." He had to get her away from the fight. He looked back hesitantly at Matt, then took off, carrying the girl away. "Just wait a moment..."
Terry set her down at the base of a tree gently. Then he took off again, boosting himself forward as the wings flapped hard. "Air mail." He muttered. The air before him shimmered. He hadn't ever tried this before. He only sent items, and never an actual person. But he was going to take the risk. He could barely see Mtt that was charging the monster by himself. He wasn't going to let that happen. He flew straight into the sending area. Then it closed on him and disappeared.
Above the rabbit-serpent thing, a shimmer rippled in the air. There was a pleasant ding like the oven made when the cookies were done, and a You've got mail! Terry burst out of thin air from the floating ripple in the air. His blue eyes opened in surprise that it had worked. He slammed his staff down at the monster's head to distract it, even for a moment so Matt could catch it off guard. The wine's smell was making him plenty dizzy.

Kat was in a cross between a sleep and a blackout. The dream dark and shadowy was she moved around a open field aimlessly. Her humm in the air as the birds danced around her. The daughter of Spring dreamt of the spring. Of the newborn rabbits, the fresh flowers. Everything was so peaceful...but then it flashed and she felt herself falling. Eyes bursting open she sat there shocked as she saw Terry literally disappear. Slowly she got into standing position. How much did she miss? Climbing into the tree she felt the soft bark beckoning her into a sweet sleep. But instead of sleeping she leaned back watching the fight from afar as her eyes closed and the vine cage tightened. She sighed dreamily and the thorns started poking out if the ground under the monster and piercing it's scaly pelt. Liquid slowly oozing out of the creatures body as it jerked trying to both attack the boys and escape from the thorns.
