Its like a tall castle entrance. The dark shadows stretching over it. No they weren't shadows. No shadows, no real shadows were present. Can you taste the foul air? It would be here monsters will emerge ready to rip the unfortunate questers apart. Or so the black foggy creatures thought. Their hidden eyes filled with lust and hunger. And behind them was the guards. The undying guards of the Owls. Those ancient beings. The guards being powerful and Demi-Gods. You see, to receive a answer you must as only 1 question per person. And to ask a question you must give something back in return. And to make matters worse, yes the owls read your mind, old thoughts, fears, and secrets. A look at you they know everything. Each person one question, and to ask they must give something in return. So what were these Demi gods doing? Giving themselves, the only thing the owls would take from they hands, for the answer. As guards the skilled swords man daughter of Hades, archery master and techinitian son of Athena, and the strong and clever daughter of Hecate stood guard protecting the owls as the owls protected them. A fair exchange. Is it not? The only way past was to be searched. Not by the defensive Demi gods, but by the hidden owls. Who could see the bad and good in you. And to fail this search, would be to get killed. A merciless death. So the seconds ticked. The questers unknowing of this hard fate as they slept that night. To find the morning traffic zipping above loud and noisy. And not long after noon passed they filled up their energy and feed their hunger. And now it would be time to face what the Fates have prepared for them this time.

Shade was still complaining at Terry who had taken all their shifts. "Why did you do that? You're all tired now. Just to save us a an hour of sleep each?"
(Shade's too lazy to log off) Terry smiled and scratched his head. "It's fine, really, I'm not that tired. We have some work to do. Come on. Don't be mad."

Matt shook his head. "Shade it's fine, if Terry falls asleep and misses the fun it's on him," he added the last part laughingly.

Shade was still slightly upset. He looked towards the entrance. The club had cleared now that it was morning. The guards were nowhere to be seen, but he could feel them. "I sense monsters...and demigods?" Confusion entered his voice.
Terry looked at Shade in confusion. But he could feel it too. All demigods could feel each other's presence. Monsters were hidden by the mist. Demigods weren't. Terry nodded. "Yeah, that's odd..."

" Allow me to knock out the monsters out cold. The demi-gods are all yours" he smiled, and then unslinged his longbow

"Be my guest," Terry said with a smile. He held out his arm and his golden staff appeared. He wasn't going to Hirt the demigods, only put them to sleep.
Shade looked at Terry, understanding. "I'll distract them. That way we wont have to hurt them."
Terry nodded in reply. "Ready, everyone?"

Kat shook her head "Idiots. What if the Demi gods can help? We haven't even meet them yet." her voice was short and cut. Probsbly her annoyance at being unground again and very limited to plants here.

" They're with monsters. Not hostages" And with that, he slipped away into the shadows, knocking the monsters unconcious. Unfortunatly for him, the last monster knew what was coming and lunged at him. It tok 5 seconds for his mind to realise that it was a hellhound. His hands slowly reached towards hid dagger, only to be rewarded with a slent cut to the face. 3 parallel lines across his face. Jasper stabbed the last monster and nodded to everybody else. Of course, there more, so he went along with tranquilizing them.

Terry turned around, trying not to wince at Jasper's wound. He looked at Shade sternly. "You know what to do." His pale blue eyes were firm and commanding. Terry spotted one of the demigods. He walked out to reveal himself slowly to show he wasn't a threat. He was alert in case they attacked. "haha what a joke, greetings<3 Matt, I was wondering if you could help us find the Athenian owls?"
Shade didn't like it, but he couldn't fight long because of his scar. He was a cripple. A drag down. He hated it. So he slid into a shadow to wait for a time when they would need help, thence would step in.

Kat snorted and walked to the Demi gods. "What are you doing?" she asked them simply. "I'm Kat daughter of Demeter, this is Terry son of Hermes, Shade son of Hades over there, Jasper son of Hapheasus is the one who fought the monsters, Kayden son of Zeus is somewhere, and Matt son of Dionysus is over there," she said looking straight at them.

Shade nearly face Palmer himself at her direct approach. What if they were enemies? Shade stayed in the shadows, unable to be seen clearly. He was wary of these three demigods. They were powerful.

Tapping her fingers she awaited their reply. Her green eyes monitoring them carefully. It was better being direct with these people. All the gods named are known to wield powerful stuff and their were several Demi gods.
(since Matt's here)
The Demi gods held their sword tight about to run them through Terry. It was their job to protect the owls, and this boy wanted them. Then the girl spoke pretty much giving away their identities. Blinking the son of Athena cleared his throat. Wondering why she was being so straight forward "Juliet daughter of Hades, Haley daughter of Hecate, and I'm Juan son of Athena," he said quietly. His stormy gray eyes studying each opponent. A soft voice whispered in the back of his head. Don't fight them...just listen, study... making a mental nod he shot a glance at Juliet. The girl holding her swords watched Shade, her brother? Soo strange then looked at the others looking for their weapons. Haley speaking up in a soft blissful voice, her violet eyes studying Jasper awaiting for his archery skills to be used against them. "What you seek is nearby, but they do not welcome arm bearers," she said simply. And by command their weapons vanished. Gone, every one of them. The daughter of Hecate storing them in magical box that laid by the hidden owl's gold talons. Juliet smiled "Wait, Juan why should we let them through? We don't know their intensions," the test had now begun. The owls whispering in the mods of their guards.
Matthew jogged up to Terry "So what's happening?" he whispered in a breathe since he was off somewhere else in the tunnel getting lost.

"I don't know, but apparently, they're the guards." Terry whispered back. He walked forward, holding up his arms as his staff shimmered and disappeared. Where had it gone? He didnt know. They seemed like they didn't want to fight. And Terry's fatal flaw was 'infinite trust'. He made friend's easily, and trusted easily. He was a kind person who didn't like to fight. Especially demigods. Wait, why was he thinking about his fatal flaw? He looked at an owl. Was it....reading him? Terry looked at the girl cautiously. "We didn't come here to fight. We had no bad intentions. We were taking precautions because of the monsters." He smiled cheerfully, like he always did. "Sorry if we scared you, really, we mean no harm. We're just on a quest. We need information."
Shade watched Terry walk forward, weaponless. His swords were gone too. Shade stepped out of the shadow to reveal himself. He was still slightly weary.

Kat smiled at them ignoring Terry "Why shouldn't you let us through? It's you we can't trust and intensions are unclear. You are the ones who took our weapons without warning, or permission," her green eyes challenging the guards.

Jasper walked over to them, looking at the guards. " So these are allies?" 'So this is some sort of game, and we're one piece' he thought
