"Because those children of the Big Three happen to have large amounts of energy, you can be unstable. I suggest you rest." Shade spoke up from his bed. He had learned that his first day. Terry had....forced him to rest. He had jabbed him somewhere that made him sleep with his staff. Terry was a disabling nerve specialist. He knew where they were like the back of his hand. Like pressure points, one strike from his staff could be deadly, even if it wasn't in bladed form. He hoped Terry wouldn't act up again and jab her with his staff. Terry had only done that to Sade on his first time because he had tried to run out of the infirmary.

He blocked the doorway, he was older and much taller. He had learned that the Hades kids were fast and stubborn. He wasn't going to let her out, but he wouldn't force her asleep. He just did at with Shade last time because he was going to hurt himself by repeatedly trying to run. This girl didn't have serious wounds. "You heard Shade. You need to rest. You fainted a while ago. And since Shade is also Hades, he should understand you best."

He shrugged. Terry alone could keep her here, so Matthew doubted she would leave "Are you hungry or thirsty?" he asked them.

"There's ambrosia and nectar in the corner. Take some." Terry offered. They had originally need for Shade, but there was no way he could eat it all without conbusting.

Going to the corner he took it to Shade and Terry "Here ya go,"

"Give it to Summer. I ate some. Don't wanna overindulge. You take some too." Terry said while waving the box away. He was fine. He had eaten a square already. Shade and Summer would need it.

Mattgew shrugged and put it down by Summer and Shade.

He nodded to Matthew in thanks and took a small sip of nectar. He chewed on a ambrosia square, looking so young, like a small kid. It was his first time next to so many people. Talking to him. Being friends. He looked up and offered a piece to Summer. "They're good..."

(Sneaking on right now! xD) I reluctantly took a piece and popped it into my mouth. "Well...they are good." I confessed.

"Right?" Shade never felt comfortable around anyone at first conversation. Except for Terry. He was too cheerful to not like at first look. But for some reason, talking to his sibling was even more smooth. He felt so much in common. He never had a feeling like this before. Was the what it meant to have a sibling? It almost made him want to smile as he chewed on his square.

I laughed, for the first time in years. For the first time since my mom died, I didn't feel alone anymore. And it felt great. Then I remembered why I was here in the first place. I was a demigod. My mom died. My world started crumbling again, and I quickly ate another square, forcing a smile.

"Be careful, don't eat too much." Shade warned. He could tell something was bothering her. Every demigod had a past they were haunted by. He wouldn't ask. Not many ever wanted to share their past. But right now e was worried about it. The expression before she grabbed another square was not one of happiness. Something was nagging her. "You'll combust if you eat too much. Is something wrong?"

"N-no!" My expression turned urgent and surprised. I was afraid I had spoken too quickly. I quickly put on a calm face. "Nothing is wrong." I said coolly.

He blinked. She was acting weird. Sharing blood, he could tell in her sudden change in mood. But he would let it be. He was bad at delicate situations, and he wouldn't play with it.

I shot him a look, daring him to say anything.
