Watching him walk way she frowned slightly. Why was he acting different? She had know him for 5 years. Frowning she turned to see the group. Her face turning a bright pink as she suddenly realized how weird this would be. 5 guys...strange...blinking she walked over to Matthew. Who she had know for the same 5 years, "Hey,"

He looked at Terry, noticing he was acting weird. He eyed him, then decided to talk about it later. The quest was going t start, and what was this feeling welling up inside him. Excitement? Fear? No.....Confidence. The first time in a long time he had felt it. He was going to help bring everyone back. He would protect them. He wouldn't let a scratch get on them. Even if it meant getting hurt. They were his first friends, and they were precious to him. He wanted to get to know them. So he needed them to be safe.

Kathrine was already feeling akward as it was. So the fact a small flower wrapped around her made her jump. "What?" she hissed silently. The small flower didn't speak, just held on. And she knew why. "It's gonna be fine," she said in a matter of fact way.

He bent down to look at the flower. It was worried for her. He felt something funny. Some warm feeling. But he couldn't name it this time. He tilted his head to look at it. The flower recoiled off of her leg instantly. Shade frowned and stood up. Nothing has changed after all. "Soory bout that."

Kathrine watched in slight grief as the flower wittered. Her voice strangely calm she said "It's fine," the flower was probably the first one she didn't not mind dying.

Matthew laughed. "To Kayden," he told her "Ready set go!!!!" sprinting forward he sent a wave on vines to cover the grass. Thorns sticking out.

Terry smiled. He put a hand on Shade's shoulder. "Come on, get up. It's time to go." He looked at Kat. "Let's leave on a positive note. It's not like we're leaving here forever! I'm gonna bring you all back. Now let's go."

Kathrine smiled at Terry not noticing Matthew until he ran off. "Unless something happens..." she whispered sadly then the race came to mind and she laughed.
"Hey!" she laughed thinking of trees by Kayden she stunk into the grass. And popped out half way to Kayden to find a vine had caught hold of her sword. Tugging back she pulled at her stuck sword that was half in the ground and half out. The half in covered by vine roots. "Not fair Matt," she laughed trying to pull her sword out.

"A race to Manhattan! It works!" Terry rose off the ground. Then he shot off after them. He saw Kat. He was having trouble flying through the trees. He weaves around, slower than usual. He reached and grabbed out and pulled put Kat's sword from the vines and handed it back to her. He flew around her. "Back in the race, yes?"

Grinning she smiled "Thanks. And I'm not in the race. I'm gonna win this race," and with that sunk back into the ground emerging by some trees. Before continuing her dash. Traveling for too long underground gave her a headache, and to avoid it she would take breaks.
