Kathrine tossed the coin into the water the Iris message forming slowly as she waited patiently for Terry's image to appear. She would be leaving to go see Max in a couple hours and she knew this message would never have existed by the end of the night. But she might as well tell Terry how she is, she hadn't spoken to him in a couple days, not even a week yet, but it didn't take to long to find Max. The son of Poseidon having unconsciously brought the daughter of Chronos to her.

Terry was anxious. Despite everything busy and hectic in camp, he had his mind on Kat the whole time. He couldn't stopthinking about her, and at nights, he worried to the point where sleep was nearly impossible. Now he knew what he had done to the daughter of Persephone by leaving first. He felt horrible.
The iris message wavered to life in front of the boy just as he was trying to force himself to get some sleep. There was no one else in the cabin at the time. He sat up quickly, almost too quickly, and he gave her a wide grin. "Kat! Thank gods, your safe! Is everything okay over there?" He peered at the message, trying to identify the location. "You know, you missed Matt's birthday."

Kathrine smiled brightly at Terry "Hello Terry!" her green eyes lighting up. "Don't worry, I found Max. We will have everything fixed soon. So it will be like all this never happened. We will have our old lives back," she promised.
Kathrine's smile faltered. Matt's birthday, she had been to the last 7... "Yeah...I know...but after tonight I would have never left..." she said cheerfully. Unless something goes wrong... the thought flickering in the back of her mind making eyes flash for a moment. If something goes wrong, that would mean she would have no hope...

"You found her?" Terry asked, disbelief entering his voice, and then joy. He held some doubt about the whole plan. What if, when time was reversed, something that had happened never happened that was important to him? But if this was Kat's best solution, and it made her happy, then...
"Our old lives back," He repeated, then grinned. There never would have been this whole fiasco, and then he would have gotten the chance to really ask her out. "Alright, be careful...really careful. I'm always here, Kat. Just message me if something goes wrong. I want to see you safe and alive soon, even if the changing time doesn't work, okay?"

Kathrine nodded excitedly "Yeah first I ran into her boyfriend a son of Poseidon. He doesn't like me much," she grinned shaking her head remembering how Garret distrusted her. Convinced she would get Max into trouble. "But then she came and agreed to help me. I'm going to go meet her in a couple hours, so I'll try to talk to you afterwards if anything goes wrong. But I shouldn't have to cause that would mean I'm back in camp if everything is right," she told him smiling.
She then nodded "If anything goes wrong I'll try to message you, depending on what happens..." she told him softly. Their was a lot that could go wrong. Was she putting her trust and faith on the wrong person "But Nick said this is my best chance so I might as well try..." she told him. Despite the fact Nick was probably the last person you should trust. Something being shady about him.

"There are other demigods?" Terry tilted his head surprised. He really wished that he could just take hold of her now and make sure that she was really, truly safe. Actually, despite what she said, he could think of plenty of things that could go wrong, and he was so worried right now.
"Kat, I can...I can go over there right now, air mail myself over." The son of Hermes shook his head, his eyes turning bitter at the mention of Nick's name. "I still can't believe this mess is because of him. You can't really trust him. The whole camp kind of knows that."

Kathrine nodded "Yeah. But I'm kinda not surprised. Surely not every demigod goes to camp..." she told him thougthfully. Though how the son of Poseidon was surviving she wasn't sure. He didn't even seem armed when she meet him.
Kathrine shook her head "No. Don't worry Terry I'll be fine. And Nick's a pretty good guy, I mean he's helping me isn't he? Plus you don't really have proof you can't trust him." she told him. Nobody knew Nick was the son of Thanatos bringing the dead back, so nobody could stop him.

"Well, yeah, sure, I know that, but he's a son of Poseidon. Don't Big Three children usually attract trouble?" Trouble. Yeah, that sure described what had happened to Shade. He nodded at Kat, not saying anything about the party fiasco where Nick and Silene had gotten into an argument (making this up). "Well, Kat, I just have a bad feeling about this." He was feeling the same squeamish feeling that Garret was having- worry. "Be careful. Remember that I'm here. It doesn't take much to get to a son of a messenger god."

Kathrine shrugged "Well Silver survived...so maybe he's like her. Strong and stuff..." she told him thoughtfully. It actually made sense where he was heading. But she had no explanation for how the son of Poseidon could still be alive.
Kat bit her lip. She had felt nervous about the whole thing but had pushed the feelings away "I'll try..." she promised.
(well I believe Nick is messing with Seline right now xD)

"Alright," Terry gave her a reassuring smile, taking all of his anxiety and shoving it down his throat. "When...I'll just iris message you if..." If it didn't work? He couldn't even bear to think about it. If she didn't come back, if something went wrong...What would he do with himself? "Just do your best."

(hm...I forgot about this thread xD)
Kathrine smiled at Terry "I'll try my best. I promise I'll message you to tell you if anything happens..." blinking she felt s strange feeling making her uncomfortable so in a softer voice she said "if you don't get a message from me...and you are still in this time...don't go looking for me...it probably means you won't find me..." she told him her green eyes flickering with sadness at the idea of failing. At the idea of never being able to run back around to camp and witness Terry and Matt's jokes, or the idea of never again sitting in the Strawberry Fields with Terry. Blinking she fought back tears, her eyes burning up. No she would not fail. she will not give up.

Terry nodded, a sad smile finding his features, "You promised. Don't forget." He turned his gaze to the floor, uncomfortable about her words. How could he not worry? If nothing happened to the time, and she never returned, how could he not go looking for her? It was an impossible request. "You know I can't do that. I would definitely go looking for you. And I would kill whoever killed you if you died." His expression darkened as he said it. He was well aware that her threat was Hades. Maybe he would end up finding that Shade would cause the trouble. He might have to take his revenge on his former best friend. And after he had helped him escape from the Underworld with Tina, he didn't think he would be able to. But he didn't know the rage that could fill him if Kat disappeared from his world.

Kathrine bit her lip nodding with a slight sad smile. "yes, I promised. But the Fates have always been cruel..." she told him softly. Her green eyes not looking at his reflection. But then his words made her look up shaking her head. "No Terry. If i don't come back, do not come looking for me. The last thing I want is something to happen to you too..." she told him gently. It was true, this sickening feeling in her gut was a mixture between worry for herself and worry for Terry. If something goes wrong....she shook her head. Where is the optimist so needed? Biting her lip she looked down at her watch then looked back up at Terry, the air becoming thicker. She would have to go now to meet Max. And she might never see Terry again... She wished it wasn't just an Iris message, for a moment, she wished Terry was here. But she brushed the thought off speaking slowly and carefully. "Hey Terry...I need to go now..." she began her eyes tearing up. She could feel it, something bad would happen tonight, but she wasn't going to back down... "but in case nothing goes right...I wanted you to know..." she started biting her lip trying to phrase what she wanted to say in her head. That she loved him? Surely their was a way to say it without damaging their relationship? Maybe it was better not to say it. Shaking her head she stepped back away from the message not finishing the thought.

"I don't care," Terry replied stubbornly as always, "I would at least want to know what happened to you. I'll do only that, at least. Don't worry about me. Worry about yourself. Be careful." He kind of just brushed aside the topic. Maybe it was because he was hoping it wouldn't happen. He was hoping so badly...but what could hope do for them? It was useless against the truth.
"Alright," his heart sank as Kat got ready to leave. The son of Hermes didn't want her to leave him. He was surprised that she continued, however, with one last thing to add. A small smile touched his lips. He had told her his feelings before, and she had returned them. And all this time, their feelings for each other had been very clear. He just shook his head with thaat gentle smile of his. "I know. Me too. Now go do your thing."

Kat bit her lip. "Terry...just don't get hurt. I don't care what happens, but if your safe everything would have been for the best..." she told him softly. What if she was killed? If Terry found out she knew he wouldn't just turn his back with the information, he would act. And that was the problem. Terry though peaceful, kind, and cheery, was also protective, loyal, and loving. And he would not just sit aside.
Kathrine smiled. Glad he knew what she meant without having to actually say it. Her green eyes flickering with joy. "Ok. I'll call you tonight if something went wrong. If you don't get a call..." she shook her head. "Good bye Terry," she told him before walking away from the Iris message as it ended.
