If ever Silver Creek was beautiful. It was now. The spectacular was amazing as the daughter of Iris bent the light to her favor. The bright lights distracting those who would be looking for the new comer.
Helena was never one to draw attention to herself. So she drew attention elsewhere at the lights danced around the creek like rainbows. Many gathered to see the spectacular, but she remained silent slipping through the crowd of those who didn't notice the girl with rainbow colored eyes. The beautiful colors surrounded by soft dark grey. Her eyes could pass as any color, but they were usually all colors. Her hood pulled to cover her long blonde hair and her delicate face. Her eyes cast downwards as she pushed forward and away from the curious Demi-gods who were expecting a new student. She tried to keep low many bit noticing her, other's just not paying attention...

(Well, it seems no one else is replying so I will!)
Pyre watched the light show with awe, wondering who was responsible. As Helena passed by, he tapped her on the shoulder. "Um... any idea who did this?" he asked. It all seemed so spectacular. The lights were every shade imaginable and it looked like the Aurora Borealis, or so he figured from seeing pictures. "It's amazing," he added, glancing between the lights and the girl - though he still didn't see her face. The lights seemed to flow with the creek, dancing about like some sort of abstract rainbow.

Helena pulled her hood closer to hide her rainbow eyes. Her voice soft "No. But it seems to have alot to do with light," she lied quietly not wanting to admit it was her creating the lights to avoid attention. Her shadowy face studied the boy who did seem to genuinely admire her work. But that wouldn't mean she would confess.

Pyre nodded, still looking at the lights, wishing he could do something like that - something admirable. Sure, he could blow around the winds and everything, but he couldn't make a rainbow or something inspiring like that. Wind is invisible. The only thing it does is push things out of it's way. Then, back to the girl he was talking to, Pyre said, "I don't think I've seen you around here. Or, at least, I haven't talked to you, much. Are you new?"

Helena kept her shadowy face hidden. Her rainbow eyes flashing with a bit of worry, did he suspect her? "Sorta...just another inconspicuous minor god child. Which is probably why you don't know me..." dead give away it may be. She had no idea Pyre was the minor god cabin leader. But she was new so how could you expect her to?

"So you are new," he laughed. "You'll be staying in my dorm - I'm the dorm leader for minor gods, believe it or not." With a smile, he continued. "So is this your first day?Or are you just so lost you still haven't found the dorm?" he grinned. Pyre loved to meet new people and this girl fit the description of new being... well... new to the school. He made it his self-appointed duty to get to know people. He was a people person - loved to socialize. He couldn't help it, it was in his nature.

Helena pulled her cloak closer. The dark silky midnight blue hidding her face and long sunshine blonde hair. Her rainbow eyes flickering as did the light show as if startled by the slight breeze, but actually startled by the fact he was minor god cabin leader, what are the odds? Was today not her day. Voice soft and barely audible she replied "I suppose you can say both..." she told hiding her shock, and very slight annoyence. The odds. Were they working against her?
(sorry took so long to reply...)

(It's fine.)
Pyre grinned. "I'm Pyralis - call me Pyre," he said after a slight pause. "Need any help finding your way around?" he asked, wanting to know if he could be of any help. He remembered his first day - how overwhelming the school can be. It was huge compared to most schools - especially city schools where most demigods seem to used to attend before they found their secret. "The dorm would probably be a good start, if you haven't been there, already."

Helena nodded "I suppose that would be a better idea than letting the fates decide when I find the dorm..." which would be never. She added darkly in her mind her rainbow eyes flashing a icy blue before going to a green, gold, orange, and back to rainbow. Her eyes constantly changed colors, both at her will or unintensional. But Pyre wouldn't know that, her midnight cloak casting a shadow across her face and keeping her delicate features hidden.

Pyre nodded, smile still on his face - it rarely left. Motioning for her to follow, despite her probably being intelligent enough to figure that part out, he began to slowly work his way through the crowd of students, being sure not to go too quickly so Helena wouldn't lose him in the crowd. As he emerged at the fringes, he turned, waiting for Helena who should be just behind him, curious as to who the girl was but not wanting to bombard her with questions. Instead, he'd lay off. After all, he was her dorm leader. He'd find out, eventually.

Helena was silent as she successfully avoided eye contact with people who were still gathering to see the light show. But after a while the rainbow colors ceased to cast a beautiful sight and the students sighed walking away. Helena feeling the urge to unclear herself and just look around at her new 'home' but people still haven't completely left yet and they would be too...excited and today was not her day...
"So how far away is the dorm?" she asked cautiously

"Not far," Pyre reassured her, noticing the colors fading until they were no more. "This way," he said, walking side by side with Helena toward the Dormitory. Deciding it'd probably be best to explain the school a little to the girl as she was probably completely clueless, he began, not wanting to start from the beginning and sound like a brochure but still wanting to give the new girl the basics so she wasn't completely lost. After all, isn't that a Dorm Leader's job? "The dorms here are divided up by the godly parent. Since they are all direct half-siblings, the dorms combine the boy's and girl's dorm so it's just one room. However, with the Minor Gods, the dorms are separated. The game room became the girl's dorm to give you some privacy."

Helena look warily at the school. She sighed softly, feeling depressed. Sure she was daughter of Mrs. Rainbows, but that didn't mean she was happy at all times...Infact Helena at times was the opposite. At times though. Seeing that the population of students was dying down as they approached what she guessed to be the dorms she relaxed slightly. The students probably going to dinner or something. Sliding her good down slightly she shook her head, her beautiful golden hair capturing the light abd letting it slide her hair looking soft and sleek. Her eyes were not one color, but a rainbow of colors. The stunning sight may be a bit alarming but Helena didn't care right now.
Helena had delicate features, she looked soft and kind. About 5"10 and not getting any taller, thin, fit, and a bit dream like. She didn't look very...mortal. Having inherited most of her mother's features. The goddess of the rainbow and messenger of the gods was beautiful and was often recognized as a goddess or believed to be an angel by mortals. Helena wasn't as spectacular, but was beautiful in a soft delicate way.
But that didn't mean she was smiling, in fact she wasn't even looking at Pyre her guide. More at a painting on the wall catching sight of her reflection from the frame and quickly changing her eyes to a beautiful midnight blue. Matching the cloak she wore. But the color would be temporary. Like all her eye colors, which made getting an ID difficult because she couldn't ever remember the color shed make her eyes before the picture. Currently her ID would read 'gray' since that was the color ger eyes were during the picture. Which often confused people who'd see her with a completely different color of eyes after reading her eyes. Once Helena had her eyes violet during a ID, freaking out the picture taker who tried not to comment. But put dark blue since the violet was similar to blue at the time since she was between the two colors...

As Helena pulled down her hood, Pyre was curious as to what this girl looked like. After all, he was a boy. Isn't that what boys do? Her hair looked like gold and her face was soft and as close to perfect as anyone he'd ever seen except maybe a daughter of Aphrodite. He tried not to stare though, and looked on ahead. He would have plenty of time to look at her when he was officially her dorm leader. Of course, he would never be her dorm leader if they never made it to the dorm. Taking a right, he ascended a staircase, motioning for Helena to follow. "We're right up here," he smiled, turning to one of the doors at the top and opening it to reveal the Minor Gods dorm. "Welcome home," he grinned. They had come into the boys' side so it was a little messy but only around the beds. The actual room part was clean - Pyre made sure to keep it that way. The door into the female dorm was just a couple feet away.
"You'll be staying in there," he said, pointing to the door. "Like I said, the boys and girls are separated, here. You're free to move from one place to another but your bed will be over there." Walking over to the door, he opened it, slowly, revealing a much cleaner room, as a few of the girls were neat freaks and girls were (most of the time) naturally cleaner than boys.

Helena stepped into the room silently "Its nice.." she said simply not knowing how to react. She missed home. But she knew she had to be here. At least it was nice though... looking at Pyre she blinked "So what do you do around here?" She asked after having entered the room and putting her stuff down on a empty and unoccupied bed which already had a small bag on it. Easily recognized to be from her mother since a rainbow bow was tied around the zipper.
