Tina fidgeted. She had ended up here. Everything had been a blur from the last few weeks. Her father showing her the camp. Tina not wanting to endanger her father. Agreeing to go to camp. Packing her things and saying her farewells to all her friends. On the road. Meeting a nice Aphrodite kid named Justin who helped her with the bags. And here she was. She looked down at the envelope in her hand as if it was all to blame. A package for the cabin leader of the minor gods, was it? The cabin for the minor gods was creepy. Especially with the ice crystals growing around it. She had touched them earlier out of curiosity. They had been so cold she had nearly burned herself.
Tina didn't want to be a demigod. She had found out who her mother was last year. She was still adjusting to the monsters and powers thing.
Tina stood at the door. She challenged it with her pale blue eyes. Were there people in there? Distantly related people, most likely. But...they were still people. The thought of speaking to people made her go mute. Her timidness would not allow her to speak up. So she knocked. Two knocks light and quick sounded at the door frame. A letter to give to the cabin leader, then leave. She was going to make this quick. Why had she walked in front of the Big House? Why hadn't she run the moment Chiron came out and asked her to do a favor? Why didn't she say she was busy? Why did she have to be running this errand? The thoughts ran through her head. The timid blonde tried not to panic.

Silene looked over at the door. She was in the middle of organizing things. That stupid kid named Zeke was being...well...a boy. He wasn't all that considerate about keeping things orderly. Silene turned towards the door. Her ice cold voice stiff and sharp. "Come in. What is it?"

With the sound of the knock, Zeke woke up from his bed to find the cabin 'organized' - or so Silene put it. He was beginning to get along with Seline a little more than at first, but he still felt the need to be purposefully a slob. It was his way of saying 'I acknowledge the fact you are my superior. Therefore, I need to make your life as difficult and annoying as I possibly can without my head ending up ten feet away from my body'. He had fun with it - he really did - but it was beginning to get a little boring. Maybe he would stop.
"Come in. What is it?" Seline had said. That's when he realized someone actually had knocked on the door. Pushing himself off of the bunk, he landed silently onto the floor - his body slowed by his powers to manipulate the air around him - and stared intently at the door with his cold, cruel eyes.

Tina opened the door slowly. Painfully slowly. Her shyness not allowing her to open it faster than a slow creak. She peaked in, surprised to find two people. One was a boy. It looked like she had woken him up. She winced at the thought. The other was a girl. An older looking one with...white hair? Not natural. Both os them had gazes that were sharp and cold. Immediantly, Tina felt insecure and wanted to bolt. But she forced her self to stay put.
Tina had to find her voice first... "Um..." The word came out in a whisper. It was way too quiet. Tina stumbled on her words, going mute again. She took a breath and tried again. "I have something for Silene Deloria? It's a package from Chiron..." She had managed to get the volume of her voice above a mutter.

Zeke stepped back to signify that he was not Seline, though it was obvious enough just by looking at the gender differences. "You must be Tina Skye, huh? Daughter of Demeter?" Pointing to his Cabin Leader, he continued. "That'd be Seline, if you didn't know already!" Then, turning to Seline, he went on hin a highly sarcastic tone. "What do you know, Seline, I'm in a helpful mood, today! Aren't you proud?" he laughed.
Sighing, he sat on the bunk below his and attempted to keep himself from hitting his head off the bottom of his bed. "So, Tina. How are you?" he said with a smile. He could tell she was shy. It was so fun to make shy people feel awkward! Oh, yes, he would have some fun with this girl. Pick on her, no. He wouldn't do that. Make her feel like she needs to hide behind a plant... well, yes. That's exactly what he wanted to achieve.

Silene ignored Zeke masterfully like usual. She turned to the daughter of Demeter and took the package somewhat gently from her. She scanned her over once with her winter green eyes. Zeke was bothering this girl, but Silene didn't care. She wasn't one to bust into teasing or whatever. Silene turned around. She had been expecting it sooner. She went to the back of the cabin to put it away.
Tina~ The poor little girl just stared at Zeke nervously with wide pale blue eyes. "Y-yes, I am. Um..nice to meet you..?" Her tiny voice made the little girl sound smaller than she already was. She wanted to reply 'I'm not doing so well...I gotta go..' but she couldn't be rude. Too timid for that. "Um, I'm alright...How about you?" the last part was to be polite. She regretted it though because this was leading to a conversation.

Zeke smiled. "Oh, y'know. With all the monsters constantly breaking into the camp and a few kids going missing, I'm doing fine... comparatively." His smile turned into a devious smirk as he finished. This should really get the girl worked up. "Shame. You're a Child of Demeter. They say the Cabin Leader is on a quest but I know better. She was taken. Even the greatest Demeter kid stood no chance against the monsters. What chance of survival do you have?" Zeke stifled a laugh and kept as serious of a face as he could on. It was quite easy, too. He was used to lying and getting away with it. It was all in the face. You smile just the slightest grin and you're done for. Keep a straight face and it all works out.

Tina's eyes widened for just a moment, flashing an expression of fear. She almost backed up. But instead, she was rooted in her position like a deer in headlights. She wished Silene would come back out. The prescence of another was a bit more comforting. But Silene was still in the back, wondering where to put her important little package. Tina was trying not to panic. What he said, was it true? Tina didn't like this person. He was like a sly snake, and she was the mouse. That's when she remembered something else. "Justin...he said that they went on a quest..." She tried to convince herself that as she replied quietly to Zeke.

Zeke smirked. Justin. Justin, Justin, Justin. Who are you? Ah, yes! Son of Aphrodite. Perfect. "Justin, you say? Who is Justin? Justin Harris, you mean?" Sighing, Zeke sat on his bed, shaking his head. "Justin is busy trying to convince himself of that. He found out, too. We used to be friends. He'll deny it but it's the truth." Ah, yes, perfect. Just a little white lie. It won't hurt anyone. Scare them, oh yes. Hurt them? Not directly.
Continuing, Zeke placed a sad emotion onto his face. "Justin... Justin was with me when we overheard Chiron and Mr. D talking about how the kids were disappearing. Of course, Mr. D wasn't worried at all. Chiron, however, was terrified for us. He decided to tell everyone that the missing kids all went on a quest. Justin's been trying to tell himself that is the truth ever since. You see, he liked a certain girl who went on that so-called quest. Kathrine, your Cabin Leader. Sadly, she'll never return." Oh, yes. This was great. Tina was terrified, he could see it in her eyes.

Tina paled at his words. Maybe he was talking about a different person. Was his last name Harris? Tina couldn't remember at all. The little girl was at a loss for words. What was she supposed to say to Zeke? Demigods disappearing...this place was dangerous... "I...think I'm going to talk to Mr. Chiron." She said quietly. She was kind of intimidated by the tall horseman, but she needed to tell him that she wanted to go home because of the dissapearences.

Zeke smirked. He wouldn't stop her. One less runt to prance around camp. "That would be smart. I wish I could do the same." Sighing, he looked like he was about to cry. "Tina," he began, "I hope you can get home. Not all of us are that lucky." Oh, yes. This was the perfect little lie, wasn't it?

Just as he was saying those words, Silene walked out from the closet storage. She took one look into Tina's eyes and knew the girl was afraid. She then turned a cold winter green glare on Zeke. "What...did you do?" Her words made Tina freeze at their harshness.

Zeke's clever grin turned into a disappointed sigh at the word. "What...did you do?" she had said. Oh, great. "Come to ruin the fun, Seline?" he asked, jokingly. "I was just joking with her." Turning to the little demi-god, his icy blue eyes flashed with a dangerous annoyance. "Isn't that right, Tina? You knew I was just kidding, right? I hope I didn't scare you. It's not true. It's all fine." The entire time, he slowly made a message outside the now closed door. His powers were invisible, there was no conceivable way for Seline to notice. He wrote a note.
Poor Seline believes it, too

Tina looked at Zeke with somewhat a mix between horror and confusion. So...was it a joke or not? He was telling Silene it wasn't a joke, and now he was saying it was true? Tina forced herself to break eye contact with Zeke, then looked over at Silene.
Silene~ The cabin leader stared at the little girl, then turned to glare at Zeke. "What is it you were joking about?" Whatever it was, it was clearly traumatizing the girl. Silene was a cabin leader. It was their duty to watch over campers and made sure campers under themselves didn't cause trouble. He was certainly causing trouble here.

Zeke was a sly one. He'd had a list of possible answers for this. He went with the one easiest to prove, other than the truth. "Oh, nothing," he said. "I was just saying Mr D will turn you into a dolphin when he gets mad." It was a truth, just not the truth Seline was actually looking for. Perhaps she would take it as Zeke rethinking his informing the little girl. Perhaps she was thinking he was passing it off as a joke for Tina's sake. He wasn't. Did she know what he really said? Gods, Zeke hoped not. It would ruin his fun.
