As a leopard he growled. Plants weren't gonna fight a rabbit. It would just eat them. But he doubted Kat thought of that. At times she was just...not so thoughtful. Sure she was brilliant at others, amazingly gifted at wielding her powers, of which for years she couldn't control. But he could sense a change it her. Something different.

"Hey!" Terry protested once as Kat stood in front of him. He forced himself to stand. "I can fight too!" Which was true, but it probably wasn't the best time to be arguing with them while they were trying to focus on the monster. Terry looked the rabbit...thing in the eye and almost cracked up laughing. It looked like a pretty pathetic hybrid. He abandoned the thought of laughing as the huge thin took a threatening step forward.

Matt growled at Terry threatening to bite his head off. At times Terry was a bit proud, well actually proud and protective, which was nice, and at times not necessary. For example now when he was injured, or in Matt's eyes temporarily crippled from fighting. So naturally Matt would be the big kitty kat person he was and growled returning his attention to the hybrid as it slithered forward slaying slightly. Maybe if he was a mangoose it would be easier to take the snake down. But none the less leopards were fast too...

Terry felt like growling back in reply to Matt. He crossed his arms stubbornly. "I said I was fine!" He had already dug out the feathers from his pockets. They flew from his hands to attach to his shoes. They fluttered nervously. Just in case he had to fly out of the way. His staff appeared shimmering in the air. "Besides, you don't have a weapon, Kat."

Kat simply snorted and created a collesium like battle ground completely blocking Terry out "But I have powers and I'm not hurt," her tone a bit clear and stubborn as if the idea of her not fighting was bad and unappealing. Which in her eyes was true, and her tone of voice made that clear.

"Hey!" Terry protested as the walls shot up, blocking him out. "Wait! Let me in!" He looked through the holes to see them and the monster. So they were going to make him sit this one out. That made him pretty ticked. What if something happened?

Kat ignored Terry. If he died because of some crazy disease because his wounds got infected she would probably feel annoyed sad and mad. Then again she might also just feel sad. Shrugging the thought away she shot a glance at the leopard why the heck wasn't he human? Fighting would be easier in that form.

Matt sighed she obviously didn't note this thing had large buck teeth. Lunging forward in a impossibly quick rate Natt jumped out of the way and onto the wall his claws digging in as the leopard boy crouched low and growled lunging forward his large paws aiming at the rabbit thing only to have it flick forward once more it's bite aimed at Kat and the wall created by Kat.

Terry narrowed his eyes. They both seemed to enjoy the idea of ignoring him. "You guys just wait..." he muttered to himself, not loud enough for his friend's to hear. He back up at the grass, making sure his bandages were secure. They had started fighting, and he wasn't going to be left out. He stuck his hand into his pocket with a grudging smirk. "Don't forget..." Terry pulled out the feathers, throwing them into the air. He leapt upwards. The feathers were drawn to his shoes like magnets. They increased in size into full white wings. They attached themselves to his shoes and flapped powerfully, jerking him into the air. It made him wince once, but he ignored the tense of pain that had now passed.
Terry checked himself. Everything seemed fine... The son of Hermes took to the air and over the wall-just in time to see the stupid thing attacking his girlfriend. "Oh no you didn't..." Terry growled as he spun out of the air, his staff materializing. He brought it down, aiming at the creature's head as hard as he could.

Kat felt a sense of adrenaline rush as she spun out of the wall a wall shoot out of the wall at the rabbit's leg her green eyes widening slightly as Terry came down. Feeling some pride and annoyence she frowned slightly. This child was delightfully persistent, but also likely of getting hurt "Terry me and Matt can handle it! If you get hurt even worse you may die!" sure it was a. Bit of a exaggeration but she still meant it.

"I'm not dying anytime soon!" Terry laughed back at Kat. He had whacked the monster and gotten its attention though. The thing turned up to see him. Terry probably should have taken its roar as a clue that it was pissed. He swooped out of the way as it swung out a heavy paw. It caught one of his shoes, and he spun back a little. He floated for a while, catching his breath.

Kat frowned as she turned to look for the leopard. Why wasn't he human yet? Making a sphere she blocked Terry out once more, small holes in it's roof so enough light came in. Feeling a bit tired she yawned and took a involuntary step back. She studied the creature. Rabbit face snake teeth, two front paws and a large scaly snake tail, she laughed it's look ridiculous hut somehow cute....

Matt thought Kat was insane, nobody laughs when facing a venomous creature let alone in a dimly light cave thing she had going on. Thanks to Terry she did seen tired from trying to block his out and frantically they were also trapped in here. The leopard made a growl making a warning as the rabbit began clawing at the sphere, maybe it was claustrophobic? Cutting a gap into the sphere it then slithered forward towards the weaker of the two, the girl. The leopard still as his muscles tensed. Lips pulled back he awaited the moment. Lunging forward when the monster was 2 feet away from Kat he knocked it ear into its head clinging on as he dug his claws into its skull, tossing Matt off the snowy leopard skidded to a halt. The rabbit in range bit everything nearby including the walls the plants burning in the venomous poison. Maybe now Kat knows why he was a large kitten rather than a running human...

Kat was in fact tired from lack of sleep and such. So of course her speed was decreasing and her powers were starting to shrink the sphere already slowly withering. The rabbit lunging forward she tripped backwards clumsily but leaped to her feet just as fast. Seeing the poison melt her sphere she was shocked "Ahh well that explains it.,,"

"Kat!" Terry panicked. He didn't like watching people fight. He wanted to help. But if she wasn't going to let him, he would help some other way. Terry flew away, back to where they had spent the night. The son of Hermes grabbed Kat's sword that was lying there, and returned.
"Here!" Terry had taken advantage of the monster's poison melting down the walls. He charged through a hole, avoiding touching any acid. He threw her weapon towards her. Then spun out his staff. It had caught the thing's attention, being all shiny and bright golden.
